That actually looks really good and almost OEM. I've got the 4th gen Turbo AWD 3 hatch but I've always liked the body lines of the 3rd gen.

This really makes a difference, looks sick. I would rather have the silver trim and mazda logo in black as well for a 10/10, though.

Absolutely! Since it’s a different model there may be slightly different steps to take though.
Geez. I had a 2003 Mazda 6 that I swapped the front grill on. That was like 4 screws. I think my 2017 Mazda 3 is going to have to keep it's old grill.

Is it just me, or do these Mazda body pins suck? I am by no means a Ford or GM fan, but their body pins are way easier to remove after years of becoming brittle. I've had 4 Mazda cars, 3 of which were '94-'97 and none of the '90s ones had these POS push pins on them. Those were the good ole days I guess😢
I don't hate the OEM grille aside from mine having the front plate panel and I'm in a 1 plate state

Hi mate, just want to ask about the part that you skipped. Does the black top part fit the grill on both corners where you pointed at 4:57 ? Could you confirm if there's only one clip on each side? My car is the Australia version, so it should have one clip on each side.
Yes it does fit around the corners. If I recall correctly it wraps around the grill and there should be clips on each side.

Sorry, no it will not work on a 2016 mazda3. The 2017-2018 mazda3 is when they got a facelift and the grill won't match up with the bumper. You can get an aftermarket grill that's for the 2016 mazda3 and follow the same steps.

Honestly I’m not too sure. I don’t think alexa was sold in the US so I’m not familiar with it.

No this grill will most likely not fit on a 2013 model due to the difference of shape of the grill. You can get an aftermarket grill that will fit a 2013 model and follow these same steps.

I got my grill from eBay. The link is in the description
Too much work and complexity if you are not skilled. The risk of breaking too many parts and loosing or forgetting where the screws go is not worth it.
