great video. any idea why stabilized videos are a bit softer? i can clearly see that on my 1080p monitor with the 4K setting on the YT video. also the camera has internal stabilization settings that can be changed and i understand the kit lens also has some sort of stabilization. how do these settings affect the motion blur before and after stabilization in Catalyst Browse?
Tanks for the video 👍🏻. Next step….180’ rule on a gimbal and catalyst in post (I’m doing this on my Gopro 9…Ikee Falcon Plus,+ 180’ rule with nd filters+hypersmooth off+ Gyroflow at the end and all look very very good)
@@NomadicFilmmaker I think you can use Catalyst Browse with Active Stab enabled now. However, you can't use Gyroflow with any Stab enabled. I tried Gyroflow today, I think 200 shutter speed is too low for walking around. The motion blur can be very bad. I will test with 320 shutter sometime. I didn't compare with Browse. But Browse was giving me decreased image quality when rendering, (and it renders 10x slower than Gyroflow), so I didn't use Browse for a long time now.
It’s hard to see because there’s not a lot of motion, would be good to see a test walking normally to see how foot steps impact the background at different shutter speeds.

Really useful comparison. Thank you!
Thank you bro, should we record with standard stab enabled or without stab in the camera?

Thank you for the suggestion! I have a video that touches on that topic: ruclips.net/video/Lp6BPBapsBQ/видео.html

Do you need auto stabilisation off in camera to use catalyst browse?
Yes, you should shoot without any in-camera stabilization.

I'm new to cameras and my clips after stabilizing in Catalyst Browse started ghosting bad. Halppp.
Thank you for this video. Nice place to shoot, PP2? haha.
No picture profile, if I remember correctly. :)
