LOL do that sht for raiders games, they'd get half the fans
Malon Brown 💀💀💀
Malon Brown LMFAO😂
thats sounds cool
LOL
not funny or true at all
more like biggest finesse in nfl HISTORY LMAO
a1 a2 good one
a1 a2 lmfao
they already finesse fans with $17 water bottles
“We have a big surprise”
*“Everybody under arrest”*
rip😂😂
He sounds so genuinely excited for the surprise, too.
Omg🤭
And doing in a tuxedo with a top hat. That's just class all the way.
LA needs to do this. It's totally believable that the Chargers would give out free tickets.
Caleb Browning what about the rams? They're in L.A. now, or have criminals evolved?
They would need someone to take them tho
No one would still show up
the first group would stop the rest.the problem is.. phones!
This only works if the tickets are in high demand...
And that day created 101 cowboys fans
Josh Luna LOL!!!!!!!
GREAT comment!!!
I was the 101st like btw
What a bunch of narcs
@@raymondsolisjr.1262
Yea, But a lot less POSs off the street...
This wouldn't work at all in Cleveland lol
Maybe idk some people might have noting to do and plus they're free tickets that never happens some people might go
Henry Ha You can get browns tickets for just a few dollars
+Fat American MLS supporter oh
Lol, giving away Brown's tickets seems like punishment.
boomstick900 ... ummmm... Cleveland is Ohio's shithole
Does this mean I have to kill someone to get free Redskins tickets?
sam21skin 😂😂😂
Yes didn’t you watch them video
Nah just shoot at somebody
You don’t want redskins tickets now
You don't have to go so far anymore
This should really be made into a movie. What a fascinating story!
Why does everyone always want a 15 minute story dragged out to 90 minutes for a movie 😅
@@estebanleon8771 It took a lot more than 15 minutes of planning. Some of those cops deserve oscars.
@@estebanleon8771 There are a lot of things likely left out of this short video. Besides, I'm sure you could stretch out a 12-minute story into a 2-hour movie. It's called dramatization. A lot of films allegedly based on true stories have done it. What we know of the story and what really happened behind the scenes could be two completely different things.
Take "Sully", the movie about the plane landing on the Hudson River. I'd never seen the movie, but I'm sure there was some dramatization concerning the passengers and crew, including conversations among the passengers before the plane went down and among the crew before they went out to offer drinks and snacks.
The Simpsons covered it
@@estebanleon8771 If Hollywood can turn a children's book that's roughly ten sentences long into a full-length movie, you can turn a 15-minute video into a full-length film.
this looked like a shooting
Lol that's the only reason I clicked on this garbage ass video
Cesar Galvez
Cesar Galvez ikr
Elite Gshaw compared to what he thought it was, sure.
This was when the city was on fya 🔥
I love everything about this. From the title, to the introduction, to the delivery. Nothing gets spoiled.
I wish they would do interviews on those folks today and hear how they felt
Yes! I’d pay good money to watch a full documentary on all the logistics & the entire aftermath
That's exactly what you just watched??!!
@@tokumei1282I think she means the criminals perspective
@@tokumei1282 well this is fine but like 2 hour documentary would be cool
@@tokumei1282lol use some deductive reasoning
There should be a movie about this
Vijay Herwade there is
Which movie?
Vijay Herwade how bout you do your own research
Jon Bois should make a pretty good about this
Evan Schmitt28 he should
Ha Goteem
This is straight out of a movie ahahah
Marco Figueroa I think the movie copied this sting. Cause sea of love came out in 1989 and this sting happened in 85
Um this is actually "straight out of" a 30 for 30 short on ESPN
This SHOULD be a movie
Why doesn't the police do this with Raider fans?
because they have better things to do then get shot ..and I am a Raider fan, ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN
NewWaveFan1 because then Oakland wouldn't have any residents!
Because they still want Fans to attend the games?
Criminals like the Raiders because there color scheme reminds them of jail cells.
NewWaveFan Because the mayor of Oakland would warn the community and no one would show up.
TPTGopher damn the mayor must be really pro crime lol

The thumbnail had me thinking it was columbine for a second
Cornye West same

"...as the bus is pulling out, one of them yells out "Do we still get to go to the game"?

Is it just me or does the thumbnail look like a shooting
Ohhhh
Diego Nava now you get it lol
This is the most 80s thing I have seen in my life
LOL do we still get to go to the game??😂
I want to see Boomer!
Will Cooper NOPE TO THE DC JAIL
No, but you can watch the game from the jail TV.
In that frame of mind I can think of it as a valid question... I think they call that the bargaining stage.
I'd be so pissed
Mateo McCartney fuckin for real dude
Mateo McCartney pissed? Only criminals went
Imagine how the guests of those fugitives felt that day. Some of them had warrants and I'm sure there were some people in there that were innocent
They said they confirmed every single fugitive.
did you even watch the whole thing? They said they only invited fugitives and confirmed that they were all fugitives.
Moral of the story, nothing is FREE!
jon doe except for those tasty cheese samples at grocery stores
I wish
Except Air but yeah.
Or, you know, don't commit crimes
Except yo momma
the misdirection in the beginning is cinema gold
LOL " Ur Under Arrest Part" LOL
Duffy United caveman SpongeBob meme will be perfect for that moment
530 dislikes are the people who were arrested and their guests who thought they would go to the game
Ahhh back when you could see the dislikes. It's a shame youtube got rid of it just for Joe Biden.

I'm saying too funny 😅😅😅😅
All the footage of the officers working on the plan & calling fugitives 😂 looks like they’re having so much fun
Shout out to the dude who was arrested asking if they still get to go to the game hahahah im dead
Imagine the other 2900 people sitting at home watching the news that night.
😂😂
The 2700 guys who didn't accept the invitation decoded the I. Michael Detnaw clue. Good work, Marshalls.
Bleargh Bleorgh They left so many blatant hints, that would be so easy for a crook to solve
Marcus Cran.
no they said they were doing '3000 tickets' but it was fake. They only invited a few hundred.
Shut up bootlicker
@@Folsomdsf2 Why did this guy (4:30) say “we sent invitations to a little under 3000 fugitives”???
I guess it's a good thing none of those fugitives were dyslexic...
ha
FriendlyWalrus All the ones who didn’t show up
There NEEDS to be a movie made from this story!!!
I’d love to see this 🔥🔥
The movie Hot Stuff in the early 80's did something similar
If ur wanted why would you go anywhere
prank central free tickets Boi
Foooootball
Because I'm getting FREE tickets
prank central DUDE FREE REDSKINS TICKETS
this was pretty dope not gonna lie
This should be made into a movie, such a great story
I died when he told them they were under arrest lmao
if I was a criminal I would be so pissed, but this is hilarious haha.
Nothing is ever free is your first red flag 😆
I would sue for the free game, a promise is a promise 😂

very good video
That is classic:))))) They got loaded up on a bus and the bus ride of a lifetime all right:))))) I truly wish they would make a movie about this... they could call it the Redskins Hustle:)))))
Considering that "Redskin" has now become a slur, no. Just no.
@@ryannorthup3148 it was always a slur tbh, people were just too ignorant to realize it.
@@shmeckelpeckel4483 nahh

@@Eagles4life221 Yes 🤡
that's actually pretty cool
6:09 this line is weirdly relevant now that the team is named the Commanders lol
I wonder how many people would have been captured with the promise of WrestleMania, World Series, or World Cup tickets ?
capsman09 wrestlemania or Yankees might have gotten my ass
World Cup tickets would’ve gotten me
back in the 80s people would have went nuts for wrestlemania tickets brother!
this is awesome, especially since the skins were one of the best team at that time
pure genius
Clan in da front
Everything lined up perfectly. Huge demand for tickets, stadium is right in DC, the “actors” chosen loved their roles... maybe a lil too much with some of them 😂
This is a prime example of why you should only trust FREE samples at Costco
"So we cut Santa Clause and put in the San Diego chicken."
Makes sense.

“Todays your lucky day and you don’t even know it do ya” 😂😂😂
Wow I didn’t expect this story at all. This channel outdid themselves again. Great job
2:47
so that I and others can watch the bust over and over again
The San Diego chicken putting someone under arrest is hilarious to me 😂
Washington Redskins, fooling thea fans since '85
Fx. Ok and yes OO ioooooooooooooooooooooOooo0
The very start is already savage "In the 1980s people were passionate about the Redskins" hahaha
The movie "Sea of Love" mimicked this with a then young Samuel L Jackson accept the movie used the Yankees.
Was that where they guy came late and the policeman said ‘catch you later!
"todays your lucky day and you don't even know it" 😂😂😂
Dope way to do a sting op but don't you think the fugitives knew each other? Like they gave out 3,000 tickets and put only fugitives in the room like what the hell.
Michael melkonyan that's why it was a risk. But they hoped that they would be diverted by happy feelings about the redskins game. Sports tie people together as you can see in the world cup.
and the soccer riots... that's togetherness to. Nothing says unity like mob action.
More like the one biker guy wondering why everyone else is black.
That's simply the nature of the territory where this happened: if the Miami office had done this in '85, English-speaking fugitives would've been in the minority; if the NYC office had done it, Gotti and Gigante would've put their blood feud aside long enough to whack many of the fugitives for being stupid enough to risk arrest for a mere football game.
As you've seen not every of those 3000 fugitives where in the same room...
It was done in parts, bring one group in, arrest them and so on.
I like to go to sporting events rather than watching them on tv because the graphics in real life are way better
Ja boy Fetus Nah. I always forget my 4k HD sunglasses and can't see crap.
Fartbustersman ik it's always cool to see the games in person, but I like watching them on TV more because you get a better view, especially if you have a 4K TV
Fartbustersman try working at lambeau field. 8 live games a year at the best stadium in the world
i like being able to take a piss during timeouts / not pay 12$ for beer / not listening to drunk retards scream at eachother / not freeze my dick off / actually see the game from the best angels. Yea ima watch at home.
Jack Feldman Lol I'm ded I agree
I grew up in the DC area and I remember this. lol
I want to know who was the genius who came up with this
It was the black guy with the beard. He was the director.
Jason Mercado it was the most accurate information about to leave at the most talented and I think I might be in town and a half hour ago I think I might not get the most accurate predictions and a half the playoffs
I'm surprised Howard Safir didn't try to take credit for it. He had a habit of doing that.
Jason Mercado UNITED STATES GOVERNMENT
lmao they got finnesed
they got curved so hard lmaooo
Mike Shrocazoid Abadir Gustaferri lmao
Mike Shrocazoid Abadir Gustaferri lmao I'm ded
When I think of finesse, I think of Bruno Mars
It’s quite sad how downhill everything had gotten with this team after seeing this 😢
As a newer NFL fan, it's weird seeing that Washington used to have as big of a ticket demand as the Packers
It looked so much like an eighties movie when all the cops ran in.
idk why youtube recommended this video, but I'm glad it did.
I'm a Redskin fan, and if they stunted on me like that, i be like "F" the Redskins.
CROATON LASSITTER well as long you are not wanted, you wont find yourself at an event like that i think
Ryan Champ some brought family
andrew vasquez the families were not in the room, as you can see in the video
It's not the Redskins fault.
Right, people are not getting the fact that they used an "ID check" to screen out those who were not on wanted lists.
Wow, I'm so glad I stumbled onto this video. Easily one of the best things I've seen in a while.
This cracks me up so much I love the seriousness in the cop's demeanor ..... They was loving the acting 🤣🤣🤣
"they was"
Do you mean "they were"??? I don't think English is your third language, you shouldn't make grammatical mistakes like that.
NFL Films one of the best! Thanks guys I love the videos.
good thing i was sick that day
fyukfy gaming If by sick you mean not born, then yes.
One guy bought his kid so the cops said they run oit of tickets
Herb Rutherford NEEDS to become a movie star
YES!
I wonder if this would still work
Derick Fang No way! Can you imagine the headlines? BLM would have a field day with this!
Erick Picard ironically it'd be the easiest way for both parties; nobody will get hurt unless they were very obviously attacking the marshall's
It's been used with various hooks for years before and after the 85 Redskins sting.
some info would get out bc of social media
I think that was less "criminals today would find out or know better" than "with the team being less successful and FedEx Field 60% larger than RFK, Redskins tickets are no longer so valuable that over 100 fugitives would risk going out into the open to get them".
"Now I got a big surprise for y'all, YOUR ALL UNDER ARREST" *insert entire police department sprinting into room*
Greatest story ever told!
In the 80s, 90s there were times you could go to RFK and get tickets on game day and people would sell their unwanted tickets for $20; cheaper when it got closer to kickoff.
I have lived in the DC area and never heard of Flagship Sports channel.
Well if you watched the video you’d know that the flagship sports channel was fake.
My dad won tickets to that game. My brother and I waited for him to bring us to the game.
Why thrown them to the ground like that? You already had them.
We need so much more of this. Great work marshals
Sadly, some things only work once. I'm surprised the criminals didn't figure out the common denominator among all of them was that they were criminals.
This was actually a resounding failure, more than 75% of the were released and it was a huge waste of money
No we don't bootlicker
@@jonwop USMS fugitive arrests usually costed $1,200. This operation costed $22,000 in total, or about $820 per arrest. They saved a lot of money on this.
@@bearmarco1944 "The total cost for Operation Flagship amounted to $22,100, or approximately $218.81 per arrest"

when the lady said. "I was a cheerleader" I thought to myself, "Seriously? You don't look like a former cheerleader at all." Got it right on the money XD
This is so awful lol but awesome at the same time
This was ok, it happens ... it sort of subversive, but you know, you do the crime, you do the time.
SuperOmnicron "This was ok" You're really taking a hard stance on this
LOCO Fiesta Better than the guy that said it was awful and awesome at the same time.
Dylan Daughety
Things can be awful and awesome at the same time. Why do you think people watch gore?
It might actually make more sense if you could better explain your thoughts.
This needs to be a Netflix documentary 🤣🤣🤣
I mean credit to the marshals, that's clever...
I was thinking from the thumbnail "that doesn't really look like an amazing surprise"!
You can no longer use this strategy as people will most likely think it’s a scam 😂 glad they did it during 1980s
This should be turned into a movie, it feels like a movie plot.
that’s when dc was the hood of america
Wow I remember this!! My uncle was one of the US Marshalls who assisted in the arrest!!
Bring this back it would kill in the tv rattings
LOL they actually had me believing the NFL did something nice for once at the beginning
They did!
This got me reading everything backwards now
God damn, there must have been one guy who saw those 'cheerleaders' and almost bolted out the door knowing something was up.

And LOOK how much has changed !!!!
The tickets are now like the franchise: WORTHLESS
I'd love to see the rap sheet of all 101 fugitives.
they got meme'd hard
The fact the game was against my home team makes this so much better 😂😂😂
this should be on the trending list
