you all probably dont care but does someone know of a way to get back into an instagram account..? I stupidly forgot the account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me!
But it does make the game kinda heavy. Especially for non Stardew players. (I'll get the game when it is available in my country and see how my friend who likes very comlicated games does.)
Yea I wasn't sure how well it would work since it puts so many elements in, but it all makes sense. They made the game super tight though, where I'd rather adapt the rules slightly to make it chill. Maybe I'd give myself an extra action playing solo to relax the vibe :) I'm glad it's playable solo as that way I can get it and not have to teach anyone else how to play!
Erata: 2:52 when you shuffle each season deck, you should then pull only 4 off each season before putting those on the season end cards and stacking them all together. do NOT stack ALL the season cards on there. 5:13 it's not a core rule so not a big deal, but the festival card shown here does not require you to own any chickens. 14:21 the loved gift for Penny shown here is any crop, not just a parsnip. 17:20 bear in mind here and when mining in general, using a staircase you don't just change the map tile, you do also need to go down a level by removing the top card above (where it says Level 1 here, and you turned 2 stone into 2 staircases, you would remove that card and the next one so you are on Level 3) Thanks for making the guide. Thanks for reading the erata. Enjoy your game!
I called them little grenades with legs when I first saw them and my friends have been playing Stardew for a very long time, started laughing extremely hard and I was so very confused because I had just started.

I love Stardew Valley and I love board games. But this does not look like a fun time. Really amazing explanation by the way! Depending on the group I feel like this is one of those games where one person will just take control of the game while everyone else just does whatever they're told to do, similar to base Pandemic.
Ah thank you! That’s the thing with co ops.... pandemic really hit me the wrong with the whole alpha/cooperative mode; I feel like there’s potential in the cooperative scene to possibly address that. However....I think SV is def worth a shot in solo mode!
The key to avoid this is to have a good group of experienced board gamers to play with. Prevents the alpha phenomenon. As does consciously being aware of it and not allowing ones self to take charge like that but that requires friend who aren't dicks 😅
Sooo wait. How many cards are suppose to be in the season deck? All of em or a curtain amount like it's randomized when u pick the community cards n grandpa cards. Cause rn I'm using them all n I keep going back n forth between the book n this video making sure I'm doing it right. I actually want this game to kick my arse but I mean if I'm suppose to pick a curtain amount for each season instead of using the entire deck then I might be doing it wrong. I need an answer. Anyone?
Amazing video. Just a couple of questions. Sorry if i missed it. Question 1. If im playing with a group of 4 for example. Do we all trigger end of turn actions or just the player with the animal token. Second question.... What does the animal token do? Does it pass on to the next player in a clockwise fashion? I dont see the purpose of it. Thanks for any help
The only thing i never understood what happens if you finish the 4 goles and the 6 community cards before the end of winter card shows up. like do you just end the game at that point?

Thank you!! I’m actually working on a new pilot series “cinematic gameplay” and will be testing stardew valley with it! Should be out in a few days if not sooner!
It’s four season cards on top of each end of season card for a total of 20 cards, but only 16 turns.
...and three gold total, not per player.
Thank you for this! I literally missed “collectively” for gold and the card count; really glad you pointed this out, thank you so much!
