- As Halloween takes over Disneyland, located in Anaheim, California, we take a trip to the park to experience the event for the first time. We explore the theming throughout the park, ride the special Halloween versions of both The Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain, along with much more. Including covering the rides we've not before in our previous vlogs, we also experience Fantasmic, a spectacular night time show held on The Rivers Of America!

Have to thank you Shawn for opening ours eyes to Disneyland. We have been many times before, but your videos have shown us attractions that we have dismissed as being a bit 'kiddie', namely 'Storybook Land Canal Boats and Casey Jnr. Circus Train'. We now know they are really worth the time and effort to enjoy. We are looking forward to seeing them and more when we return September 2018!!!

Watching just shows, that there's far too many details to take in at Disneyland in one visit. The park looks even more impressive at Halloween too. Never knew they had canoes or a sailing pirate ship, wow!
Fantastic looks fantasmical, though one thing should be noted that it's closing at some point next year for a while so Star Wars land can get built which as a result Thunder Ranch is leaving.

I thought it was Disneyland Paris at first, it wasn't until watching for 9 minutes I finally realized this is in California!

I love Storybook Canal and Casey Jr. Railway. There is a stark difference between the California and Paris versions as Disney really cut corners on the Paris versions.

I love transport systems too. I loved building cross over stations in RCT. So you could transfer from one to the other visiting all the corners of the park. Unfortunately it always made my system crash. Just too much stuff cramped together I guess. CAN NOT WAIT for RCTW. CAN NOT!

Did I miss the Space Mountain part? Not just canoes but they used to have keel boats near them.They were fun. Did you guys visit the Pirate's Lair/Tom Sawyers Island? You used to be able to go inside the fort.
Many years ago (90's) when you could actually find quiet days, my friends and I ran along the railroad tracks, hiding in the bushes whenever a train approached. Those were great old days! I still can't believe we didn't get caught.
Casey Jr is always a favourite. So beautiful, fun, spectacular views. With the soundtrack going--it's hard to think any negative thoughts. Never saw Fantasmic in Florida but I hear that the original is far superior. Before the recent Fastpass addition, I would queue up at 6pm for the 9pm showing. It was always worth it. However, the time you had to arrive kept becoming longer and the last time we waited for it, I had to queue up at 3pm for the 9pm showing. It was always an excuse to buy a new Disney blanket to sit on. Somebody would go fetch food.

Paris gazebo located at the bottom of Main Street USA at DLRP with the castle behind you and is perfect for taking a group photo with your college mates as I did when I went in May 2015

The only thing the Florida version does better is seating.

hey shawn top v logs as always, is the nemo's undersea voyage the same show as the epcot undersea voyage seems very similar havent had a chance myself to return to Disneyland since they re opened the subs. Also if you liked the space moutain entrance you would of loved the old school escaltors entrance that was the best.

How do you not need life jackets or anything on the kanoes? It's not just a tracked ride, is it? I didn't even know Disneyland had kanoes :P

I know, but only for a brief period. Based on what Shawn said, it sounded like they were at CA the rest of the day. I could have misunderstood him though.
+Coasterfan312 Lee and John had a relaxing day back at the hotel this day, yes they have real canoes but they can't tip over as they are flat bottomed!

I've a question: when you said Disneyland and Europapark are my favorite theme parks, did you mean Disneyland Anaheim or Disneyland in general, i.e. Disneyland Paris aswell?
