Am I I the only one that prefers the Paris Disney castle? I love this park to pieces but I prefer the size of the Paris one. Hey ho everyone has there favourites! Love coming back and seeing these vlogs every now and then ☺️🙌

When I did Candlelight back in 2014 at EPCOT, the band did a presentation that morning when World Showcase opened (so there were some people that were shattered from doing both), the Jazz band did a show at City Walk the following day

I've Been To Disneyland Resort In Anaheim Near Los Angeles California In The United States Of America Back In Easter 2016 And It Was Super Awesome Disney Theme Park In The World. It's such a magical park!
I believe the America sings attraction was in the theater right under space mountain which became captain EO which originally was the carousel of progress when the park opened. Now I think it’s empty except for occasional special events like the one day return of captain EO maybe running an occasional stage show. If you closely you’ll see the holes of old overhangs and marks for lines and stuff. I know one old gondola from the old skyway was smashed and put into the Matterhorn as decoration towards the first yeti sighting but slightly repainted with numbers and letter in a tribute.
America Sings and the Carousel of Progress were in what is now the Star Wars Launch Bay.
As much as DLP is my favourite Disney Park, I have to admit that the original Magic Kingdom is on a whole other level. I hope to make it down there someday!

Excellent VLOG brother. Disneyland California is my Disney home and will forever be my favorite park. Like you, I've visited Tokyo, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Paris, and Orlando and I love them all but California smells and feels like home. I agree 100% they did a wonderful job preserving the integrity of "Rivers Of America" I've always meant to ask, have you seen "Song Of The South?" the Disney film that inspired Splash Mountain. Looking forward to your DCA, Knots, and Universal FLOGS.

Shawn..you can talk about how Disneyland has so many classics ect. but what you need to remember is that Disneyland IS the classic. No matter how many more replicas the company builds around the world they will NEVER be Disneyland. It just has that special quaintness, charm, lightning in a bottle if you will that's never been able to be duplicated.

Have been to this park 3 times but haven't visited since 1997 so a really good vlog to watch. We are due to visit shanghai Disneyland on the way back from Australia but if we have to change plans we will come back via LA and go to Disneyland California instead
Shawn, in all your visits to the Magic Kingdom, and Tokyo Disneyland, have you seen the Country Bears? This show was replaced by Winnie The Pooh at Disneyland in 2001.

Question for you that you may know... Sleeping Beauty Castle is 77' tall, the Matterhorn is 79' feet tall. So *why* does the Matterhorn appear to be so much taller? I remember being able to see it clearly and easily from the Interstate 5 driving in, but you couldn't hardly see the castle.
It’s very clever how Disney do this. It’s all about forced perspective and the placement of items such as windows and trees to make things seem bigger or further away!

What were ride line up times during this time of the year? Our family has been during October, February and August

Splash mountain at Disney World was closed this January when I went
There was supposed to be a dry ice fall on the Indy ride but I guess it didn’t go off again. That damn trap door in the ceiling is probably frozen again. If you see the blueprints and stuff that dry ice was supposed to fall near the guardian but it’s likely frozen due to the cold of the dry ice. Meh it’s supposed to be there.
The dry ice fall lasted less than a year after the ride opened. It hasn't functioned in decades.
I look forward to seeing the refurbishments coming to the ride!

Hi Sean another amazing video, I'm seeking some advice, I'm looking to book Disneyland Paris for myself and 2 children for September, just wondering if you had any tips on how to get cheap park tickets, any hotels you recommend.
I would recommend staying on site as you get tickets included! The cheapest option is usually Hotel Santa Fe and is on offer quite a lot of the time!
