- James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett sat down with Sophie K to chat about their latest album 72 Seasons, and everything else Metallica.

Such a fantastic and personal interview. The album is AMAZING, it feels like they have gone back to their roots a bit but with a mature, polished and produced sound.

What a great interview
I heard these guys in 1986 for the first time about two weeks before Cliffs death in a record store back in the good ol days of vinyl browsing,and the Thing That Should Not Be was playing on the stereo,so i walked up to the counter to see what record was being played and it was Master Of Puppets and i thought Metallica? Never heard of them,so i bought the album on cassette and drove around listening to it and at that time i was into Maiden,Preist etc but this was unlike anything i had ever heard
They wish there were more Cliff riffs and ideas too!

I love him but Kirk alway sounds congested…. His nose and throat are always full of fluid…. It’s so distracting. Ok the flip side- - I absolutely love the interviewer. She’s gorgeous… like wow! She’s just precious…..
