It's bizarre that so many people visit the National Park because they say they love nature, and yet ignore the Park's signage and rules. So disrespectful. P.S. Kendra rocks!
You should have seen all the trash last year. I did a couple volunteer days in the park and just me and a friend picked up forty 55 gallons contractor bags of garbage. We ran out and didn't get it all. Illegal parker ruined the shoulder for years to come in some areas. One reason why I think they should eventually close the park to bicycle, horse, or hiking only.
It's bad. All the signs that say don't stop for bears and take photos, of course they ignore those signs also and stop in the middle of the road and block all traffic. It's horrible.
Apparently the park needs more parking areas.

We just went to our god-daughter's college graduation. While trying to park, my wife pulled into an area that said "Permit Parking Only" and had a couple handicap spots. (I'm disabled) I said not here and we argued a bit and she finally relented when I said "Have you learned nothing from watching Everything Auto?" She agreed and we found the correct handicap parking which was MUCH closer! 😅
It’s just disappointing that people refuse to take responsibility for their actions and they want to blame you for doing your job

What’s sad is that a local business publicly trash talked a tow company because their customers illegally parked and got towed. It’s pathetic.

One time my wife and I could not complete the Roaring Fork motor trail because of people not caring. Seriously, I hear you about the "promised" aspect but again after all the abuse I feel it had to be done. Last 10 years has been worst I've ever seen and I've been coming to GSMNP every year since '72.

This is one of the problems with society. Many People will not accept responsibility for their actions, and then act out in front of their children. This seems to be getting worse. Instead of using it a a learning moment for themselves and a teaching opportunity for the kids to say “don’t do this because when we make a mistake we have to pay for it one way or another”. But glad you all are helping others and staying safe. Peace

I shot some (safe for work) videos with a professional model I know, and discovered that I absolutely hate video editing.
Agreed that trying to mix footage from two cameras makes it not twice as hard, but several times as hard.

The entitlement of so many people is getting worse. Why would somebody park in such a way that two way traffic can’t pass? At least you know that you’ll be busy during the tourist season and many seasons to come, pulling illegal parks. Kudos to EA for the patience and empathy you show, even when people don’t deserve either.

In my opinion, Kendra's time to take care of Elora and EA's business and customers are primary and these video "ride-a-longs" as much as we love them are secondary. There is absolutely no need to apologize for missing or partially missing videos of illegal parks. Thank you for this video. I enjoyed it, especially how professionally you handled the repossession and allowed the lady to retrieve items from the vehicle.
The park service needs a parking ticket procedure at a price that would get peoples attention and that would solve that problem.
It makes sense. Is there a court in the area to handle the cases since this would be federal?

I am a supporter of the National Park and was tickled pink they started towing people. Not sure if this towing will stop all this nonsense of just parking where ever you fancy. . They for sure should of known better. I live in Illinois and that doesnt surprise me at all! Thanks for sharing!

I was at the park last fall it was insane then. They need to start charging a day fee for the park like other National Parks which would be difficult with the road being a route to Cherokee. Or best thing hit them in the pocket $150.00 for illegal park, if they hav to be towed, that fee would be on top of fine. Our beautiful park is getting impossible to enjoy.
The parks policy is clear unsure why people can't follow the rules.

It’s a shame that folks cannot have respect for the National Parks. There are so many signs posted so it’s just common sense to read them and abide by them.
I am glad the one lady was nice. People need to realize that a car being towed is far from the worst thing that can happen to a person in a day. If you are having financial difficulties let them take the car. You will figure something out and get back behind a wheel soon. I am confused as to what the big thrill would be to park your car on the side of the road in a park that you are not familiar with, with limited cell service, and no big attraction going on?? I guess you should get up real early and find a legal spot if you want to enjoy a nature walk or something. I have done that and found it much more enjoyable than being there when the crowds show up and it starts getting hot and humid. By noon all that parks are good for is a drive through with the top down as you shift you manual transmission winding up and down the hills and curves! Jeff and Kristin..you never never need to apologize for not getting footage because you were working. Anyone who can't get past that has bigger issues than not getting to see footage. Your whole family works hard to run your business AND provide spectacular views AND provide entertainment for all of us. Just a thought about the footage of the family at the gate. What horrendous examples those parents are being. Actively teaching their children to be rude.

I stumbled upon your channel two months ago and can’t stop binge watching! From the oldest videos it warmed my heart how generous, kind and real you all are! Kendra does such an amazing job as I’ve followed her also and started watching. I don’t know how I would donate to you. To help others but would love to! My grandson wants to be able to send you something from home he said aka Wyoming. Glad you now have a mailbox at your Gatlinburg lot. I would love to visit one day but wouldn’t be worth it unless meeting you all wasn’t part of the trip so what time a year at e you less busy lol! Man that man at the gate was terrible, telling his wife not to say thank you, I don’t want them driving my car they’ve touched it enough, and than to say you’re crooks. Damn they parked in the road what else did they expect.
Clearly they are uneducated people just by their own actions. Those children will sadly become exactly like their parents. I am sure they act that way everywhere everyday.
The NPS should have put out an All Call to every tow service in the area when it was packed like that. It’s sad that only 2 out of all them got towed because they didn’t contact anyone else.

Lol, I use to work 2nd shift 4 til 2:30 am. Its funny because that was over 10 years ago. My friend rode to work with me. One morning going through town we saw a tow truck. In big bold letters it said While your sleeping we are creeping. Love from South Carolina

And some of us actually do know how much goes into editing and posting a video, so I have all the sympathy in the world for Kendra. I’ve not published in a while…I’m still trying to catch up from moving 4 yrs ago. Editing takes tons of time, and Kendra is raising a new kid to boot! You still manage to keep us thoroughly entertained.

They shouldn't have even needed a sign for the people shown in the video at the park, over half of their car was sticking out in the road where it should be obvious that no car can get past them while staying in their lane.

I honestly don't think the illegal parking situation is ever going to get better in the National Park unless they have a massive towing effort. To the folks on the "Ring" footage, don't badmouth the towing company for doing the job they were asked to do. If you didn't illegally park, you would not be in the predicament you are in. It's YOUR fault and the video showed your true colors. You don't give a hag about the National Park as long as you get what you want out of it and the hell with anyone else who would like to enjoy the park. Thanks Jeff, Kristen, Kendra and Covin. I love people who won’t buy a parking pass and also complain about the cost. Most NP not only charge per vehicle they charge per person on top of that.

We were there 4/2/24 through 4/7/24. The parking in the National Park was crazy on 4/6/24. Parking area for 6 cars people parked them in x 3 deep. 18 cars. Parking in the road just how you saw them. Keep up the great work.
if i was a tow operator and i did repos i would always request a officer to be there just in case better to be prepared instead of having a bullet between the eyes 13:53
Those illegal parks in the National Park were ridiculous! I guess after the first few people that did it that everyone else just followed and figured since people would have to go around into the oncoming lane for these cars that they can go around them too.

We visited there in late March (Spring Break) not knowing that it was crazy busy. There were a ton of trees down closing about half the roads in the park; two of the four visitor centers were inaccessible. We circled and circled and circled during potty breaks, only stopped when/where there were open spots, but we were definitely in the minority because it looked a lot like in this video.
The illegal parks remind me of the people in Wall-E.

They didn't seem to care what a mess that would create if firetrucks or ambulances need to get somewhere in a hurry. Repo house was creepy but glad to see the lady that came out was nice.
