- I walk around Mellieha checking out if everything complete and spot Mellieha hotel resisted to the ground, so I guess working on the new hotel will start soon I walked almost down to seabank hotel, where some part are still in complete, and stopped off at a great kiosk and chatted to the owner and Had one of the best breakfast rolls for a long time

Glad that you're back again Steve. Watched all the video (as always) including the A over T moment. We did almost the same walk when we were there in November except we started from the Seabank where we got off the bus. The roadworks were in full swing then - good to see that it's now finished. We're back for another visit in a few weeks so will be calling in at Sandy Waters for refreshments. That baguette looked yummy.

shame about the mellieha bay hotel but its about time it eventually got knocked down. stayed a couple of times and the view is fantastic. beautiful gardens aswell. Hope it turns out ok

Yes thats the place !!, I have a couple of meals there in the past and a very nice new year many years ago, Its a bit of a strange place cuz a subscribe contacted me to do a hotel walk around but we could only sit in the bar with no video of rooms, public places, staff, customer or grounds ...lol 😂 I declined
Definitely saw the A over T 🤭. Wondering just how many people will still try to park on the far side of the road this summer as was done in the past 🤔. I'd enjoy a longer watch once a week to be honest. Less stress for you too Steve!

Our last holiday to malta was in the mellieha bay hotel, i think it was the last year it opened, we had a lovely time there, i was sad when i found out it was closing down , as i would of gone back to stay there again x

So sad to see the Mellieha Bay Hotel gone - I had over 20 happy holidays there. It’s said it’ll be a ‘resort and spa’ hotel when it’s rebuilt so way out of my budget then! At least I managed to get a photo of the view across to Mellieha village for my wall before it closed.
Yes sadly many memories lost, and I heard its going to be a 5 8 deluxe resort ..well thats what they said before covid
That place in Għadira Bay (at 16:50min.) is a Danish holiday resort. I never stayed there, but I often visit their nice little supermarket which is open also on Sundays ;-) 👍

Hi Steve, great to see you again.Hope you're fully recovered now after your flu x 2. You've had a very tough time with the RUclips and scammers. it's a bit off-putting for you. It was a shock to see Mellieha Bay Hotel has gone! This was the first Hotel we stayed in when we first visited Malta, went to live in Mellieha not long after, a special, lovely place, but only for 3 years, miss it very much. That place you forgot the name of is The Danish Village I think. It looks a lot different now by the beach, with the new parking bays. It's looking a bit chilly weatherwise on your video. Roll on the long hot summer days. Yes, and I saw the nearly A over T, and a Happy New Year to you too. The Sandy Waters cafe do a great ftira, had a few from there, and great sandwiches like the one you were eating in the video. I'm not sure about eating the ice cream in cold weather though! And yes, watched the video to the end. Thanks again, Steve.

Hi Steve stayed at the malleha bay hotel 7 times in all enjoyed the hotel very much 1st time was 1988.The complex was called the Danish village love malleha. Keep up the good work Steve love all your videos. 👍

Olds days there was nothing there, Tunny Net was the other end of the bay on the old road to the village
Steve when my children were young l used to take them to ghadira bay every week. Now they're grown ups and married and now I rarely go to the sea.l am not a great fan of swimming but I still enjoy being near the seaside if I have the chance. Unfortunately my family are not sea lovers so we do not go very often.ln winter few people go by the sea l guess they prefer to go by the country side like buskett for example.l know that you were sick and l could see that you were a bit down but now you look better. So always look forward to better times and it seems that they are here. Steve l prefer summer with blue skies. Grey skies make me unhappy. Talking about views on u tube there are things that l don't understand about it. My daughter likes to put some videos on u tube when she thinks that she has put a good video she has very few views and when she makes a video with not much sense in it she gets thousands of views.l know about people who are living only with income from u tube.l have to stop here because my grandchildren are awake and I have to tend for them. That is 'Ventuno resto-lounge' = "A trendy upscale bar and lounge that offers fusion cuisine" Not sure what the 21 is for. I just checked the menu, yes they are expensive, although the pizza is affordable enough I think, I of course have not eaten there myself, so I can not give my opinion on the food. I can see that they have an English breakfast for 11 euros, at least they did last year.
Sometimes wealthy people will have their lawyers make false copyright claims, merely because they don't want videos mentioning them, for example making a false copyright claim to a photo in a video.
Every time I'd eat Pastizzi in Valletta, near the fountain the pigeons would get excited, and get all the fallen crumbs, every single one of them. I think that I have told you that already. That used to happen all of the time at eddies cafe as well, I don't see so much birds in that area anymore.
Old fashioned Maltese Gelato is/was made with condensed milk, or with something a lot like condensed milk. I had such gelato the last time that I was in Malta. That Gelato sure sounds good. That sandwich looks good as well.

Steve ,we all know you promote Malta at every opportunity and always say it as it is ,good and bad. Malta is heavily reliant on tourism and I am sure you have encouraged a lot of people to visit. So not speaking the native language is irrelevant as I know you can speak some and your target audience is mainly English speaking.

If I had lived in Malta for thirty years, I would be able to speak Maltese fluently. You don't, never ever have I heard you talking to people in Maltese except for some simply expressions. It's disrecptectful towards the local people and their rich culture heritage. That's my opinion.
