Steve, I never have any problems with lighting, shirt color, camera mishaps nor hammer time noise. Your doing an incredible job and service to us that want to learn about shoe restoration and repair which you meticulously explain in every video. The jokes and camera drops are just an added bonus. You have no idea on how educational your videos are in real time without all the special effects except for the compressor which is a normal occurrence. Keep sharing and God bless. From a true fan at the Southern tip of Texas.

I have to agree with others that just love the videos in the authentic Lofi quality. We all watch your videos for the content. Not the editing, picture quality, or sound design. We watch it because we are interested in what you are doing. And you in general. If we wanted a polished, slickly edited show, we could watch any number of things. People came to you channel for you, and what you do. I think we like that these vids are just a fun thing for you to share. You getting stressed about video/sound quality, getting better gear, learning new editing programs might make these less fun for you, and that might translate into the presentation. In short, we just like you authentic self and your mastery of the shoe. Keep it simple. It’s what “brought all the boys to the yard” as the song goes. Hahaha

We're lucky to even have the honor of you taking us along with the repairs. I've heard other RUclipsrs say it just about doubles the time to do something when you have to record it, so that fact you're willing to do that is awesome. The quality is totally adequate for what you're doing.

You mentioned fewer women’s shoes are put in for restoration, I guess that’s to do with the changing nature of women’s fashion. Where I live there is one place that does this kind of work and it’s two hours away from me, so I love these types of video because it helps me learn how to diy this stuff.

Steve, I absolutely love your videos. I'm not one to judge video quality. I'm older, so I really just appreciate discovering something I enjoy, like your videos. However, two things; first thing: I would have really liked to have seen the complete restoration process of the uppers in the "Resoling of ladies shoes" video. Second thing: I was actually having a little anxiety when you hadn't posted in a few days. I looked on your page for any info such as; I'm on vacation, I'm taking a break, I have the flu (god forbid), etcetera and nothing. Not a lot, just a tiny blurb, even I'll post again soon. Yes, I have a life, but being new at working with my own leather projects, I find myself gleaning techniques from your videos. I have also become fond of your gentle, fatherly like approach to your narratives. Wait, one more thing, keep up the good work. You have such a gift of talking through your scenes. Do what you feel you need to do with your video process. I say leave it alone. You obviously have a living to earn. Best regards to you and yours, Dawn 😊

The magic is not to do with the equipment or the lighting. It's all about how you include us in the work. Don't waste money on cameras or lights. Just be who you are and do what you do. You're the only part that really matters.

Lighting was good. Think the white shirt helped a bit. As usual a fab really interesting video. Hope that you had a good rest.

Honestly never thought about the lighting Guess watching you doing interesting things, being you, made me forget all together to look out for things that could be improved or changed
