I've pretty much watched all your videos from the past couple years so here I am watching reruns.
I have no idea why I watch these but they relax me. No political banter. No controversy. Just a master getting stuff done. I dig that.
@Gary Cullen Gary. What made you choose to post that here? I mean, here rather than any other place? I think that would be really interesting to know 🙂
@@bagramdave883 just a spam bot
@@WhiteSoxxx whaaaaaa?
I know Im randomly asking but does any of you know of a trick to get back into an Instagram account..?
I was stupid forgot my account password. I love any assistance you can give me!
@Logan Armando Instablaster =)
It never ceases to amaze me how good your work really is. You may not think so. I do. Exemplary work. Better than new. It is a pleasure to watch you create/recreate/fix/restore. Thank you Steve.
Instead of damp water....get dehydrated water.....you just add water and it's good to go! I always enjoy watching an artist at work! Thank You, Steve!
Where can I get that? I’ve been searching for weeks. I keep getting transferred from person to person when I ask for it. It must be very valuable as no body has told me where they keep it. 😡
@@Heywoodthepeckerwood look at your favorite whatever-mart. In the section with the sports water bottles, or camping supplies. The ones that seem empty are the ones you want! LOL!
@@lotsabirds are you tryin to tell me that stuff is invisible too?

I love Steve's stream of consciousness ramblings when he's working. Talks about shoe construction, shoe materials, watches, audience reactions to something, whatever.
ASMR? Never heard of it, no tingles here, other than seeing a real craftsman work and the wonderful final result. Almost suspenseful to see how he does it.

"Biiiig foot, big, wide foot" I thought was funny
I now want to buy a pair of Alden, just because of all of your Alden videoes.
I reupholstered a sofa for Alden Shoe. It was for the employee lounge. I had know idea they made these boots and was a high end shoe company when I went. I saw the display case in the lobby and knew then. I also knew Brockton Ma. had a huge shoe industry back when and my father actually worked in the industry. I've seen patterns of a carboard type material with steel edging. Cut by hand with a knife it seems before automated cutters.
I watch your stuff at work, co workers think I’m listening 👂 to a Ringo Star drum 🥁 solo.
Once you find a pair of boots you really like it is never a bad idea to buy an extra pair or two.
Normally I'd agree however these boots in particular will run you close to a minimum of $500 USD brand new
I love these videos! U not only are an artist & skilled craftsman but the love & respect for your craft and the product comes through loud & clear. I wish they would invent “smellivision” so we could smell all the leather , glue, machinery, oils, dyes etc...
This fascinates me. Even though I have no intentions of fixing my own shoes, I love watching Steve do it.
I like to watch Trento and Heath too
The transformation of the black boots is incredible!
This guy is awesome 👌 👏 He even took off his shoe to tell us what the name of the style is. Huge fan. Love you work and hammer time 😂😂
theres something so satisfying about watching a first class craftsmen work
Someone else started this video and I came in late to it. I said, “Is this the new Bedo’s video?” and he, ”How’d you know it was new?” Which forced me to admit that I am obsessed with watching Steve’s bruised nail bed as it grows out. There are other Alden Indy videos but they don’t have the black fingernail. Pure baller, Bedo.
More beautiful work! When it comes to Alden Indy boot restorations you are the man Steve!
Really nice job..nice to watch a craft person who knows what he or she is doing.
Steve, I've seen all of your videos from the past few years. These might be my favorite!! These two pairs of shoes are a great example of why your job is so important. They were worn out/not properly fixed and you made them brand new again. Shoes are meant to be worn, and your good craftsmanship keeps them going for many more years. Outstanding job.
“Oh man, Steve is using that damp water again. Why does he use damp water, he knows it gets wet!” 🤦🏼♂️🤦🏼♂️😂😂. Amazing work as always Steve love your honest feedback on even the things quality shoe makers can do a little better!
Indeed, I thought the same. He should have been using dry water!
Must get his from the double secret damp water store
I think, as he needs bigger quantity's of damp water, he orders it dehydrated. It's better to store than...
I caught that too, saved me a comment on using dry water instead.
Makes me wish i had a few dozen of my favorite pairs of boots done by Bedo’s, of different persuasions. I never flinch when its hammer time, in fact, I love seeing that hammer; its so graceful with its curves. Makes me wish I needed one of my own!
Your work is incredible and I like the use of leather in place of reconstituted leather board. I worked in the fiber industry for 38 years and it is possible to exceed the performance of natural products with engineered materials. It also help recycle material’s that would end up in a landfill.
Thanks for the videos. It is a pleasure to watch you exhibit your many talents and to see you take great pride in your work, as you should. Love the videos keep them coming.
It's an addiction! I can't help myself. I just enjoy watching a true craftsman at work.
I am not a cobbler I started watching by chance as RUclips gave you up as a suggested view. I like what you do and the care and honesty you give. So like most of your watchers thank you and it is entertaining to watch.
Shaking my head in disbelief over how good these look. Incredible work.
Why do I watch this again and again? Because it's that good and Steve rocks!
Thanks Steve, missed you.
His work is absolutely amazing, the detail and the how he revives these pieces are outstanding👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Even cows compete to be chosen by Steve to be used in his masterpieces.
Why do cows have hooves instead of feet?
Because they lactose.
I like it when you whistle. Your whistling sucks but it represents happiness.
🤣🤣🤣you, you whistle hater
Hi Steve, was wondering where you were over this weekend...it doesn't seem like a weekend without a video from you so I was very pleased to see this one today😁hope you and yours are well and all is good. Much love and respect from the UK 😀👍
Ohhhh Bruce Springsteen jeans...you go man!!!!
A true artist. Love your jokes.
Those were my beat up black boots, and I’m very anxious to get them back. The repairs and upgrades look amazing! Also, love the video.... Thank you, Steve. Your skill is worth every penny.
My pleasure, I’ll contact you later once I get them boxed up
I’m always amazed when you hammer the nails into the soles... they always look like they would poke right through the other side. Long enough but not too long! Steve you are a master of your craft! I love your videos!
Amazing work….so cool seeing a working pair of boots
Amazing work.👍🏻👍🏻
I just could not sew and not be able to see where the stickhes were going until I was done. I just ordered some polish that you show you use. One pair of hubby's black shoes and one black leather purse to do. I'm set. Thanks for sharing. Boots look like new. GREAT professional job as always!
any pair of shoes or boots (leather jackets, leather bags or LV bags) that comes thru your shop comes out beautiful.
I love watching your videos. Thanks.
They look great, mate. 👍👍👍🇦🇺🇦🇺🇦🇺🦘🦘🦘
Gosh, those are just gorgeous.
I love the brown pair of boots the most, they look more different, more nice details.
You are truly a master at what you do
I noticed that on my Johnston and Murphy Aristocrats that the tongue is stitch to one side, first time seeing that in any shoes, AWESOME WORK!!!
I laughed when you said you used "damp water" to clean those black Indy's!! As always, Steve-o, you killed it. Such a great transformation!!
Now every night I have to watch one of your videos
Great job Steve! You brought some "well used" boots back from the brink. Nice!!!
Amazing project Steve. Well done. I’ve been wearing mine for 6 months and just about broken in.
When the Master gives a Masterclass we are in awe
O MY GOSH WHAT IN THE.......no. Wow they both turned out beautiful. I love the contrast of the naturals welt to the color of the shoe. Simply beautiful Steve!!!
"Damp water? As apposed to DRY water?" LOL You KNOW I was gonna give you grief if you didn't give YOUR Indies a little Bick 4 love too! I THOUGHT I was seeing some AE Hamiltons in one of those shots. I snagged a pair of those in calf skin (black), natural welt/misole, and blue Dainites for about $150. Slather the Bick 4 all over the insides and after it soaks in, cedar shoe trees. Break-in was a BREEZE since the leather became more supple after conditioning.
I really like that extra piece of canvas to span the gemming, not too crazy about the fiberboard though. Love that notion of a couple of stitches to the inside portion at the top of the tongue. I've wondered about that myself. The devil's in the details, you do a good job of being devil's advocate. LOL Well done Kemosabe ! Both pairs are lookin' good after your touch to 'em.
Hi Steve 🙋🏾♀️. It never ceases to amaze me just how good you are. THOSE Boots look just brought ‼️both pair of boots are beautiful. Good stuff ‼️ have A great evening ‼️🙋🏾♀️✝️🛐☮️💜.
You make new out of old - amazing
Great job... I've become a fan of 360 welts.... I think you should start a new line of bussiness.... "Indy's upgrades"....even just out from factory.... Anyway more Hammer timeeeeee
I remember thinking that when boots get broken in walking in them feels like flying. These boots are ready for some serious "flight time." So, here's to boots and having them custom repaired by the champ!
Impeccable Indies Steve 👌.
Let's get to the point here-
Fibreboard is not waterproof, it soaks up water like sponge!!
Leather forever ❤️( new motto there)
Our god damn footwear are in puddles for half their life span here in UK
I think some manufacturers are mixing up the word 'hide'.......
they must think it means hidden'!!!! 😂
Hi Steve, a good job again. Nice watch also 😉
Nice projects 👍👍👍yes you got a lot off shoes 🤣🤣🤣🤣Hamilton 👍thx for your time and the vlog Steve 👍👍👍☕️
ahhh man! when you held up your indys I gasped, for real!! you had just re-dyed them a few months ago! you beat those things up man! I am impressed haha
Great job! Both pairs look amazing!
Glad that at 10:24 you used moist water rather than that dry water stuff. Love ya man; and your work. Wish I could afford a pair of those Alden boots.
Tearing the soul off is very satisfying, not sure why but it is.
Nice work Sir !
Very good Craftsmanship , Steve 🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
As always great work Steve, I would have left the mid sole and the heels brown on the black pair. They look too much like my old army boots.I understand thats what the client wants, to each there own.
Great job again! Glad you got yours done too!
always enjoy to watch what you are doing Steve. Greetings from Down Under / Karl💪
Wow, you really gave them love, as usual 👍🏻🍻
What you do to shoes is MAGIC love watching your videos .
I was getting worried about you it seemed like I waited forever for this video. After a week I start getting Steve withdrawal. Another great job so worth waiting for, love ya.
29:13 OH!!! Those Blue Suede Alden Indys!!!! MAN, those are SWEET!
You did much much right by your customer too!
First video for me! Impressive craftsmanship. Thousands of hours behind every hammer strike. And the transformation of those boots was awesome. It was a master class in rebuilding a perfect custom boot. Profound thanks.
Only Negative comment I have is the Black Boots are NOT mine... You do amazing work👍👍👍
Always INCREDIBLY satisfying to watch these videos.
You make it look easy
Stunning!
It's nice to good solid work boots looking their best and doing their job. Lovely work.
