- These Alden Indy boots are a classic but we changed the style a bit. These come with 270degree welt and we changed the to 360 degree welt. All eyelets and speed hooks were replaced with solid brass. New split welt with blue stitching. Also changed the toe stitching to blue. Added JR soles and JR heel blocks. Added GTO sole guards and heels to finalize the deal.

Hey Steve, the tool is called cobbler tubular nailer, my Dad had one in his shoes making shop, I used it to put nails in his work bench as a kid, yes after 45 years, my butt still hurt...lol
I could watch videos of you strictly working on Alden Indys. I’m obsessed with these boots, i own 2 pair. This particular repair is INSANE! Wow, the finished boot is probably the slickest pair of boots I’ve ever seen. I love your work.
I would not have picked any of those options. I like my Indys stock. But damned if they aren't absolutely beautiful!!!
