Seeing as Destroy All Monsters takes place after Terror of Mechagodzilla, I like to think that the control devices used on Monster Island to keep the kaiju in place may have been derived from Mafune's Titanosaurus controller.
I want Legendary Pictures to put Titanasaurus in their MonsterVerse. 😎

There have been so many great Kaiju but sadly, Toho only ever reused the most iconic ones. I get it from a business standpoint but I really wish they had used their other Kaiju more.

Arch Angel I agree with you. I am getting a little tired of remakes of King Ghidorah and mecha Godzilla. Imagine if Toho made a remake of Ebirah and made shoot fire or a shock wave? That would be cool.

I was hoping that Angerus Manda (The sea dragon from Final Wars) and Rodan would be in the 2nd movie but it looks like Legendary is going Toho on us and only going for the iconic ones.
As soon as i saw Titanosaurus as a kid he instantly became one of my favorites.
I seriously think i'm part of the great minority who actually likes his roar since most people say it's annoying or goofy.
And when i saw he was gonna be in Godzilla Unleashed i was really excited, and he actually became one of my most used monsters in the game

Honestly, Titanosaurus seems...really tragic. Like Ms. Takayama said, he's not a monster. He's just being manipulated and/or lashing out in pain. From how you've described him he doesn't even sound like he'd be down for the whole "defending my territory" thing Godzilla does. He just wants to hang out, eat some fish, maybe go be friends with Gamera or something (when Gamera gets some time off from being Guardian of the Universe. And yes I know that's another franchise). Definitely some parallels to Frankenstein here, except that Mifune didn't even create the monster, he just discovered it and think that means he owns it.
I should really watch the Showa Mechagodzilla films. They seem like they're of a higher standard than some of the other 70s Goji movies.
They are most definitely higher quality than most Showa era godzilla films. Terror of Mechagodzilla is actually my favorite godzilla movie of all time which just so happens to feature my favorite kaiju not named Godzilla, Titanosaurus!

Fantastic work on this one! Titanosaurus is definitely one of the lesser-loved monsters of the Showa era, and deserves a second chance.

*Clarification:*

When Ms. Takayama said that Titanosaurus is a kyoryu (which is Japanese for _dinosaur_ )and "not a kaiju," she is playing with words. She was trying to get at is that Titanosaurus isn't a "monster" that causes destruction like Godzilla and other kaiju, and that instead he's a peaceful animal. So he isn't a "KAIJU," in other words a MONSTER, in the sense that he's evil in any way.

Yes. We are doing every Ghidorah incarnation, so first up will be the Showa Ghidorah, then the Heisei Ghidorah, 1998 Ghidorah, and 2001 Ghidorah.

I would love to see the Titanosaurus in a new Godzila movie. He would look awesome with CGI.
For his MonsterVerse design, he should have elements from a Spinosaurus, a crocodile, a seahorse, a bottlenose dolphin, and a great white shark. He would also be portrayed with gills, since he lives underwater (my guess is that unlike Godzilla's shark-like gills in the MonsterVerse, Titanosaurus' gills should look like a seahorse's). Additionally, his sonic waves from the Atari fighting games should be incorporated as the reason why he's weak to sonic wave attacks (he uses them to navigate similar to a bat or a dolphin).
As for his roars, they can simply mix his original roars (distorted elephant trumpets) with the sounds of crocodiles and dolphins (he will sometimes hiss and growl like a crocodile when angry and make dolphin snorts and clicks when excited).

What its great about Titanosaurus is that how he do resemble a mutant Spinosaur, even foreshadowing their acuatic adaptations.

Probably just a coincidence. Back then the only Spinosaur known was Spinosaurus, and people thought it was like a giant Allosaurus with a sail

Funny how Mafune was deemed crazy even though there’s literally an island that’s home to Godzilla, Anguirus, Baragon, Mothra, Varan, Rodan, Minilla, Gorosaurus, Manda, Kamacurus and Kumonga. A few of them are dinosaurs themselves (you already know who) and to top it off, they were invaded by multiple aliens who had control of a Cyber-Chicken and a Space Dragon, dealt with a Size-Shifting Robot and a subterranean drill-handed beetle as well as just barely recovering from an invasion with MechaGodzilla and a magical Shiza creature called King Ceasar

I always theorized watching TERROR OF MECHAGODZILLA when going over Dr. Mafune's history, that two things were going on. He seemed to alienate his colleagues in his obsessive drive to complete his research. And two, Mafune's disgrace happened about twenty years to the events of the flick. Right around Godzilla's first appearance. Maybe in the wake of the Big-G's appearance, the defense forces were getting all sorts of crank calls from people in the aftermath of Godzilla's first attack. Mafune, who's research i animal control wasn't producing any viable results. Many of his fellow researchers were eager to shut it down over its moral implications. Then when he told them of his discovery of Titanosaurus, they were at the end of their patience with him. Along with the fact he couldn't produce Titanosaurus on demand. Things went totally downhill for Shinzo Mafune.
Well, Mafune discovered Titanosaurus 15 years prior to the events of the movie, so around the time of the first Godzilla attack, before monsters became commonplace.

As for the video game Sonic Wave confusion: Titanosaurus is aquatic in nature and most aquatic creatures require some type of sonar to navigate. It's likely he still had such a power in the film, but he didn't utilize it in a weaponized form. Also, you stated that the Super Sonic waves wee disrupting the brain control device, thus causing him intense pain. Therefore, it would stand to reason that it's the Brain Control device causing him pain as opposed to the super sonic waves on their own.
Idea for Titanosaurus in the MonsterVerse:
His containment unit is located in Kaikoura, New Zealand and was the inspiration behind the Maori Taniwha and the Hawaiian Mo'o. He will be seen rampaging at first, but it will be revealed that this was due to the fact that he was angry at sonar used by boats and submarines in the sea. Otherwise, he is mostly peaceful, feeding on seals, fish, and squid (similar to sharks and killer whales) as well as radiation. And the reason why he is weakened by sonar waves is because he communicates with his own sonar (similar to bats and dolphins). His new design will incorporate elements from Spinosaurus, Baryonyx, crocodiles, monitor lizards, dolphins, seahorses, moray eels, and sharks (especially frilled sharks). And in addition to modified elephant trumpets as his roars, he will also squeal and snort like a dolphin when excited and bellow and hiss like a crocodile when angry.

God, seeing him in the Monsterverse would be a treat... maybe lore wise, make him from the same general family of Godzilla but took more aquatic features, and give him a look something like a Spinosaurus ^-^

I am VERY happy that these profiles are finally getting made because as a rabid Godzilla fan since I was three (born 1986 btw) I have always wanted a "scale" like the kind marvel and D.C. enjoy. We need a kaju scale on the same level as marvel and DC!
I think Titanosaurus's antennas are actually his control receptor of sort implanted by the crazy doctor. Maybe naturally Titanosaurus won't have the antennas. Like only insects supposed to have those right?

Very interesting monster and like how his sounds were added to many games, I had not gotten through the whole video yet with my first comment.
I have ideas for Godzilla fan films and one of which I definitely plan to include a buffed Titanosaurus. I want to change him around a bit, he comes from the Mariana Trench and due to evolving to survive the pressure down there he has skin so hardened that no amount of pure force can damage it as well as also making him immune to nearly all energy attacks. This would put Godzilla at a complete disadvantage until he utilizes lightning (Electricity > Water) in a sort of Kong style electric punch.

I believe this was the first Kaiju Profile on this channel, before this they did played Godzilla video games.
I looked more into the specs of its gale winds it's tail swings can emit. They're slightly more powerful than an atomic bomb and roughly 5x more powerful than the highest recorded wind speed of a category 6 hurricane.

From recent discovery of Spinosaurus that was a aquatic dinosaurus, I claim the argument that Titanosaurus is a subspecies of Spinosaurus. Warrant: Powerful tail, living in a lake, long neck and pins.

I feel bad for Doctor Mafune a brilliant man who wanted to create underwater ranches, develop mind control technology for sea life and claimed to have discovered a living giant aquatic dinosaur called Titanosaurus. Things he was 100% right about, but also they didn't even think to go see him once Godzilla (another aquatic dinosaru popped-up)

I like Titanosraus so much I named my yard lizard after it. Granted, this was a special lizard with two tails, deserving such an honorable name.
Actually a great video! Gud job 'lante! Btw, Titanosaurus is my favorite along with Gigan and Anguirus. And for the facts, his roars were originally modified from Elephant trumpets(you may have noticed it) and his roar was actually used for Phantoon, Kraid and Crocomire(for Kraid, it didn't seemed to be because the roars were pitched down for him). And I think the developpers of Godzilla Unleashed added a wave beam attack for Titanosaurus(Wich is ironic like you said) because they tough it would be "less exciting" if Titano didn't had a ranged attack. But I doubt it would have been a problem, I mean, Anguirus doesn't have any ranged attacks either, so yeah. And if i'm right, Titanosaurus is basically a dinosaurian creature like Gorosaurus? Tell me if I'm kinda right. BTW guys, one last thing, there is actually a real discovered dinosaur that is name Titanosaurus, but the twos are both pretty different! The real Titano is a sauropod that is a cousin of Argentinosaurus. It is said he's the biggest of all dinos but it's actually unsure, the fact paleonthologists didn't found full skeleton fossils of him, only vertebraes parts, yeah, a true mystery. And does Titanosaurus has horns or antenas on his head? I'm confused.

So I just realized that Titanosaurus, Destoroyah, and Kaiser Gidorah were all new (Kaiser is roughly new) monsters, the last monsters in their respective eras (at least many consider the recent Godzilla movies a new era), and were defeated by a combination of humanity and Godzilla's efforts. I feel like it's just a coincidence, but it is interesting.
