My guess for Manda in the MonsterVerse: He was the inspiration behind legends of dragons in China, Japan, and Korea. Additionally, just like Leviathan (Titanus Leviathan) being the true identity of the Loch Ness Monster, Manda is the true identity of the Cadborosaurus (the sea serpent of the Pacific Northwest) and the Ogopogo (in prehistoric times, Manda's species was also prey to a mosasaur kaiju which later became the inspiration for the Native American Sisiutl). He was also the guardian of the ruins of Mu, which was one of the many lost civilizations of the ancient humans of Hollow Earth (along with Atlantis, Lemuria, Shambala, Hyperborea, and Seatopia). His new design should also incorporate shark-like gills to explain how he can live underwater.

@@giganopode88 Not rly. He was just faster under water and damaged the ship a bit with his grab. He is not that strong if we scale with brute force. Almost every other kaiju would destroyed the ship in 2 seconds if he was in close range.

What are the other four? My favorite is destroyah due to how psychotic and sadistic he is. He is more human than most monsters I guess and incorporates the worst parts of the human condition to enhance the weight of his scenes. But that is just my opinion what’s yours?

There’s one aperanse that you missed (not including singular point because this video came out before that show) At the end of the intro for Godzilla The Series there are 4 monsters that appear, a giant spider, a green Bull, a giant sea serpent, and a giant bat, I don’t know were this info comes from but three of those four monsters are actually legacy monsters from Godzilla robes Gallery, the Bull is Megalon, the sea serpent in Manda, and the bat is Gigan, the giant spider isn’t Kumonga but instead is known as Gus The Spider, I have no idea if that’s a reference to anything or if that’s just the name of a production members pet spider, I don’t know
Manda is such an interesting Serpent Kaiju it’ll nice to see him again on the big screen for the Monsterverse as we do have a Kaiju named Leviathan in the MV but what if some of the designs was also inspired Manda’s designs as well that’ll be cool.
James Varela leviathan may resemble manda to an extent but i can predict leviathan may resemble a giant conger eel mixed with sea snake. I wanna see leviathan appear in GvK.
James Varela Sense we haven’t technically seen some of the titans like Leviathan could perhaps be retconned into being Manda if he were to ever join the Monsterverse. It would be nice to see him again, he has such an interesting design.
Brandon Davis Manda definitely is interesting, I don’t mind Manda having to be retconned as Leviathan at all really that could be good, just make more redesign models for him just to make him way more different than the Manda we already know. It’ll be such good thing to Manda again for the MV.
I had one of the only Manda figures produced by Bandai America, included in the pack of destruction alongside other toho monsters. I for sure want to see this sea dragon in more Godzilla media and films.
