Bruh Barcelona had to be humbled massively to finally understand that their youth system was what made them. What made in back in the early 2000’s? Some stars, but the background guys that held it down were homegrown. 2007-2012/15, who held it down? Mostly La masia graduates. Obviously they can’t have the best players in every position and you actually do eventually have to splash some money for a star. But not in the panic buying way they did when Neymar left. Those 2021-2023 years that really humbled Barcelona since Messi couldn’t just carry them to a Liga title was needed. They lost their touch, they were also heavily restricted because of their bad spending. I mean look at all the top young players in the world who have coke out in the last 2-3 years, a lot of them were from La masia. Xavi Simon’s, Dani Olmo, and etc. these guys were in the academy, ready to become good as the last era got too old. Barcelona have always had immense success with their academy without becoming Ajax, Dortmund, PSV, French teams Portuguese league teams. Those guys some how make hundreds of millions of their youth, yet can barely challenge every year for a league title in the better leagues. Barcelona managed to make champions league semi final and final type of players, but they said somehow in 2016-2020 that it wasn’t something they needed, they needed big money names. That’s so stupid. Barcelona should probably make some kind of legally binding rule where they must have constant La masia graduates every 2 years go to the first team.
Bartomeu and rosell really screwed the club. Coincidentally in early 2000's, Barca had financial issues after Gaspart, and it was Laporta who helped integrate the Lamasia squad. He came back with an even worse financial situation and did pretty much the same.
“He’s 17?!” - all of us, this summer, watching him at the euros. An absolute joke of a player; I get how it must have felt to have watched Messi’s first full season at Barca
Kinda funny to see how every european consider Europe as the only place to play the game at a high level, talent wise Estevão clears 9 of 10 of this names.
Wtf are you guys talking about Benfica's academy?! I agree João Neves is a good player, still young, but showing he can become a great player. Besides that, Enzo and Darwin didn't come from the academy, João Felix is yet to become a regular starter for any major team, Gonçalo Ramos is playing in the farmers league and is still mediocre. The only one that is for sure a great player is Ruben Dias. Bernardo's from the Benfica academy as well, but you can't compare Benfica's academy to it's rival's, Sporting. CR7, Nani, Pepe, Figo, Ricardo Quaresma, Paulo Futre, Simão Sabrosa, João Palhinha, Rafael Leão, Nuno Mendes and more. Wake up, guys, wake up.

The way Jon said hello 😂😂
Where's Mr Devine?.
Next season is our season
On holiday perhaps
Just wait for Estevão
Not having Musiala in both lists is a crime though.
Musiala was Jon's 3rd pick
@@mustafaaydin2754 As I said not having him in BOTH as in the other list as well is criminal.
I´m curious if and when people gonna be putting Aleksandar Pavlović (20, DM / CM) in these lists.
Debut for Bayern II (4th division) in March 23, debut for Bayern in October 23, debut for Germany in June 24.
Legitimate successor of Toni Kroos, "wipes the floor" with any other U21 midfielder statistically, probably even compared to U23/24. Key player and starter for Bayern and should and will be a starter for Germany at the WC26.
His quick rise (debut 4th division -> German international in under 1,5yrs), Kroos successor and his nasty, insane stats should be positively alarming for everyone already, but weirdly aren´t.
A thumbnail without Yamal is disrespectful
What's the age criteria? Under 21? Pretty important detail.
Kobbie Mainoo isn't here because they want yall to fight in the comments and increase engagement. Also, people saying he isn't that good shows how much they hate how good he is, one of the things you'll experience from the media when you're a United player.
Age 21???
Bro is 17
Rico Lewis is my fav one
I wonder if in a couple of years/decades we'll see players starting their careers at 16, peaking earlier, and finishing earlier too like retiring at 33 y/o with full accolades
I'll be here on 5 years to see of my predictions are true:
Rodrigo Mora,Geovany Quenda, Estevão, Endrick, Yildiz and Yamal my top 6
this IS THE BEST FORMAT
crazy how messi and ronaldo tick all the difference makers boxes
Savio is top 5 imo. Also comments heavily underrating how good Endrick is and Musiala is top 3 for sure
“He’s 17?!”
- all of us, this summer, watching him at the euros. An absolute joke of a player; I get how it must have felt to have watched Messi’s first full season at Barca
My favorite duo
You list Yamal's age as 21 at @27:09
the comment i was looking for
Not Barca fans but Lamine yamal no 1
Next year Camarda should be on the list.
This isnt even a debate. Lamine is so far ahead from the rest.
No 2 for me is Endrick.
Anselmino is one to watch too .. and Odimirion
How is this even a competition? It’s Yamal by an absolute street
You don't need a 30 minute video for this topic. It's yamal way ahead of anyone you can conjure up.
brother arda guler and messi should never be in the same sentence 😂 these guys
Lamine Yamal!!!
Just for a second--*just a second!*--i thought we were going to get the pedri song😢
ONLY TIME WILL TELL
Kinda funny to see how every european consider Europe as the only place to play the game at a high level, talent wise Estevão clears 9 of 10 of this names.
Where is Yildiz? Come on!!
but the correct answer is Adam W...
"Nerd Denier" Camera pans to Jon
Yamal
34:15
Did nobody see the ending 🤣
Its actually Adam Wha...
Putting curbasi instead of lamine should be a crime
Bruh, both are good
“The correct answer is actually Adam Whart… ” 😂🤣😂
Guys, no Zaïre-Emery is not okay. He a just has to be on there.
Yamal is way above the rest. Like Messi was.
Now I want to be recruited by Arteta just to expose the squad to Lingua Ignota or Gilla Band.
Wake up, guys, wake up.
yamal might be the new cruyff 😭
Musiala must be on any list
20:28 Wirtz is still at Bayer Leverkusen not Bayern :D
Estevao next up too
Mainoo and Garnacho are placed 6th and 3rd in the Kopa Trophy and didn't even get mentioned???
Pau Cubarsi is extremely good always get overshadowed by Yamal. I am saying Yamal doesn't deserve the hype Cubarsi is underrated
Yamal doesn’t deserve the hype… yeah, you’re U13. Any person that actually watches the sport and actually witnesses Lamine play understand the hype.
This days even people above 20 aren't young anymore with 16 and 17 year olds.
You are 13
Being a wonderkid ends at 21
This channel name and profile pic and thumbnail style is too similar to the athletic podcast. It needs to be easier to differentiate, as I generally don't bother with the athletic podcast with Jim Richardson but I want to watch all of this channels videos.
I fail to see just why so many people rate Endrick. What does he do?
As much as I don’t like Madrid, if you’re playing and scoring for the biggest team in the world and Brazil at 17, you at least deserve a mention.
Absolute levels between him and yamal tho
Last minute goals he’s good and being at Madrid helps too. I’m not too convinced when I watch him then I remind myself how young he is and get it. Also he was amazing in Brazil last season
He's very strong and explosive, with really good ball-striking ability. Looks like he could be a bit like Aguero, so I see the hype. His PR is out of this world tho, so I also see why many people question his level (compared to the hype).
Have you seen his start for Madrid? Coming off the bench and immediately making an impact. His confidence is admirable
