I remember the first day I got my slash and I saw this switch and didn’t know that one had to calibrate the esc. So, I flipped the switch while my new truck was on only to launch it’s backwards in reverse right into my cousin’s leg😂😂🤣 good times

Diego Botello I did the EXACT same thing , once I seen that switch my curiosity was like DeeDee from Dexer's Laboratory " OOO what does this button do!" Truck goes flying backwards.

I leave it to 50/50 for all models 70/30 to me is better for forward only operation.
I got a slash 4x4 but it doesn't have the neutral adjustment switch. But in other videos people have it. I am slightly confused.

I was underway in the middle of the Mediterranean. Truck went over the side, luckily it was hanging by a tire.
My Slash 4x4 is in sport mode, but when I drive it, I get forward and brake, but no reverse. Can you make a video about this?
Carson Green that would be race mode, it disables the reverse gear since it’s not used in racing
I use 70/30 set up for all My Traxxas models gives me more feel of throttle control.
So my esc blinks green and when I try to recalibrate it. I hold it down it turns red and I let off and it just starts blinking green again. But if I continue to hold it down it will blink red once, twice, then 3 times but I still have no throttle but I have steering. Any help?
I wonder how many people like myself had turned it onto 70/30 curiously and had the car fly backwards

I bought a brand new 8s xmaxx and I don't have this feature on my tqi. Traxxas support?
Traxxas stopped making that a couple of years ago

My Rc car control has a click then it goes like one speed non trigger sens how do I get one with trigger sens that works on a 2.4 ghz

I ordered an Xmaxx at the end of May 2020 and it doesn't come with a transmitter that has a throttle neutral switch, but the manual goes over how to use it....
I have the same with my erevo 2.0 no switch..

Traxxas recently removed this feature
I have the original tqi 4 channel transmitter with docking base still I’ll never get rid off it now I have some older Bluetooth tqi with the neutral switch

I bought the 2020 Rustler VXL and it did not come with this option.

I hope there's somebody that can answer my question… I have the rustler VXL 4 x 4 it's great but the reverse is too powerful to fast… How can I keep throttle 100% but I want the reverse speed to be somewhere around 30% I just want to slow down the reverse because I find it to be far too fast for me. I can adjust my brakes which is great and I can adjust the throttle but you want 100% and I cannot find any way to slow down the reverse so can somebody please help me
Turn the turn the braking down and set to your liking it will also reduce reverse throttle

Lol I did not knowing the truck launched off the counter into my kitchen wall🤣🤣
I now put tape to cover switch. My 3 year old thought it was the on off switch. Scared us both to the moon. Let's just say now he goes no where near the 70/30 switch

My remote only has the set button
That's most likely the TQ transmitter and not the TQi.
So it’s doesn’t make it faster it just give you more room for different speeds

They do on pretty much every single flag ship model. You must have one of their cheaper models
@@codeyjoseph2051 no they don’t , I got a new Rustler VXL and it doesn’t have this option either.
@@MrMetz2112 hmm well let me list just a couple that DO come with them. Unlimited desert racer, e revo, jato, vxl stampede, slash vxl, nitro rustler, nitro slash, oh and yeah there is in fact an option for tsm on the 4x4 vxl rustler. The very least you could do is go on their website for 5 seconds and fact check yourself before trying to say someone else is wrong.

Such a pointless setting because most racers that actually use this setting dont use traxxas electronics. Worked at a hobby shop for 2 years and can say we had many repairs on traxxas cars because people didnt know what the switch did, they would switch the setting and the car would go full throttle into something like a wall, a person, even a lake which we have seen a few times. Wonder if it's a cash grab for people needing to buy replacement parts because they dont know and dont bother to read the manuals.
Stupid is as stupid does. Who cares if dummies waste their money, it's on them. With electronics it should be common sense to not mess with a function you are unaware of without reading the manual or googling it.
