      You know what would be great, im sure you already heard about people saying curing is not good for your product, even ed rosenthal isnt a fan of curing from what i know
      It would be great if you would get 2 guests on with opposite stances to topics like that or about whatever and try to get to "the bottom" of things
      Sure you can make it many ways and there is no definitive answer, but such debates with facts where people disagree with each other and bring science and facts and expirience into it would be great for me to watch

    Great job yet again, Mr. Grow It!
    One of my favorite things about your show is that you’re an intelligent and thoughtful interviewer, Chris, and I suspect this has a lot to do with the fact that you’re a home grower yourself, and so you ask pointed questions that are relevant to the rest of us. Furthermore, you’re always quick to clear up terminology and concepts which might be unfamiliar to the general audience, and this refusal to engage in grow jargon as a means of self-aggrandizement shows you to be a true educator and humble lifelong student.
    Thanks again for all the priceless knowledge!

    In my opinion. The most important thing you can do to preserve the smell and taste is to never allow your plants to get too hot. That goes for the entire life of the plant especially flower. And especially during the drying process

      @@kiroshi32 heat in veg increases growth as long as you have a higher humidity and plenty of CO2. That said, Not all varieties respond the same to heat and cold, depending on genetics. Equatorial cannabis seems to prefer heat, while northern varieties fo not always like it. The same is true of cold, genetics from colder climate respond differently to cooler temps, usually more favorably so.

I would love to meet, shake this man’s hand and pick his brain, because everything he said is true for so many plants. Also continued success for future generations as organic gardening can help fix climate change. Imagine if “us” gardeners, as we grow larger cure what past generations have done to our crop lands. However you have to remember to take a step back. We can’t stay in the trenches forever....And please remember that it’s always easier to see somebody else going through it, Then it is to accept or realize that it’s happening to you.
      There is a time and place for everything. And that doesn’t just include dealing with life‘s difficulties. sometimes you just need to let your inner kid self come out, and just do what you wanna do.

    Black swamp water for fertilizer every three days or so. Outdoors from seed in well mulched soil, deep hole. Topping three or four times. Plenty of rain water, not tap. Lots of worms! For flowering i use molasses and compost teas on every watering. High mountain desert forest plateau hideout NM where its dry. No mold issues. Also have old fermented chicken litter water.....thirty days of fermentation and its great.

    This is why I love my living soil. Between the cover crop, the worms, compost tea, all nutrients and microbes are being supplied to the plant at all times. Adding basalt creates a natural brix, organic silica helps with plant growth and cell development, even some fermented plant extracts for natural bloom booster.

    Hey Chris, great show, not just this one, but I've probably watched every episode, and I've learned so much from you and the CLTV family... Now I do have a quick question... I understand that when using synthetic, your water demand will be higher, so you can potentially "water away terpene profile and flavor." My question is, do you think it's possible to avoid this by feeding with every watering and never watering with just water? I don't know how clear the question is, but if you get what I'm asking, can you help me out?

A strain looks completely different indoor vs outdoor. The amount of leaf is almost double growing the same strain indoor. They look like 2 different strains when they are done.

    Great episode, I would have liked a deeper insight into mixing ratios for a supersoil that minimizes pests and maximizes root aeration and feed. Not necessary a organic vs synthetic but more of a how much earth, how much this or that, perlite vs dolomite, use of biochar, etc. All the different ways to inoculate the soil with mycorrhizae, inorganic medium vs organic medium in the context of organic feed (ie ratios of dirt vs cococoir to maximize microbial life while minimizing use of dirt, etc), etc... definitely down for part 3!

    organic living soil is the best, i can not believe people are dealing with ph and bottle nutes every day and running into all kinds of issues. Growing should be fun and relaxing, not stressful.

    • @AwesomeCrabman
      @AwesomeCrabman 7 месяцев назад

      So with organic fertilizer you don't have to deal with pH anymore??

    • @expertizer
      @expertizer 3 месяца назад

      @AwesomeCrabman - actually no. Organic nutrition is much slower and feeds also feeds the microorganisms in the soil "selfregulating" the pH. Of course you can f up your pH by mixing Organic and mineral fertilizers or by using way to high concentrations, but if you stick to Organic feeding plan pH is almost not an issue at all.

    The answer to this question is selection. Some are loud, some aren’t. Genetics matter. Then, on with plant nutrition and environment for fine tuning.

    Hello, I don't normally comment But At the end of this video the man said that you definetly don't want to use plastic bags. Having grown cannabis for over 40 years, I used to agree that glass is the best storage vessel until Grove Bags sent me some samples after I showed them 12 ft. plants in my back yard. Their Terploc Bags are fricken incredible. The buds from last years grow actually smell better than they did when I put them in 10 months ago.
    If I was you, I would approach them and you'l probably get samples for free since you have a large following. I don't work for them but I do appreciate what they did for the cannabis industry. If you already know about or use them, then god Bless and good growing :)

      I use Grove bags. But still smell their plastic. They seem to work to keep the RH close to bagged RH. Guess it's just my sensitive nose😮

    • @WSAGenetics
      @WSAGenetics 5 месяцев назад +1

      @@JW-lq9ow I also don't understand why people want to move away from glass and make the cure "less work". If you are burping the hell out of your jars to keep the RH within the jar down, you didnt have a good dry. If your RH is to low, you didnt have a good dry. Fix your drying process and burping becomes not so much about moisture/rh, you are just doing it more often early on to release Co2 and replace with fresh "air". More to it than that but.... 1 gallon glass jars are my go to. I would love if grove bags were cheaper as I think they would be great for storage to the friends I gift too so they do not need to monitor RH for storing the amounts I give them.

      @@smashy152 I can genuinely say I'm not at all affiliated with them and have never really used them. However my brother used them and gave me a one or two of the bags full of flower and I'm convinced they're effective. Idk how much they cost and plan on using the jars I have but the bags produce better texture and smell imo. I'll probably buy some eventually.
