I'm 23, and when this game came out, I got it just a few years later when I got a PS4. This was my very first time ever seeing Deadpool ever. So when the movie came out a few years after that, I liked it a lot and then went back to play the game. The game has good moments, but then bad moments, but I actually like the gameplay. I feel like the movies took the best parts of the comics and games and just made it work for the movies. It's not as annoying as the games, and it feels like Deadpool is smarter than what he acts like normally, so I believe that the movies found a sweet spot, and that's why these 3 Deadpool movies are doing so well
I was at a convention recently that had Nolan North as a guest. During his Q&A he said that he was not given a script for this game the devs wanted him to ad-lib all his lines for Deadpool. He admitted if you are playing this it’s basically “Me with no filters and all of my random thoughts at the time.”
Everyone forgets that this isn’t a Deadpool game, it’s a game made by Deadpool. It’s not supposed to be a comprehensive display of his character, it’s supposed be what would happen if Deadpool made a video game about himself
@@keelanbarron928 That's the point of the game, this isn't a game made to tell a Deadpool story, it's a game Deadpool made cause he wants to look cool and badass without a care for story at all.
@@Android-Twenty-One Well-put, glad that other people saw that too. And i mean, sure, it's fair if people would prefer if the game had some darker tones. Honestly, i think that'd be a bit better. But as it currently is, it's different, and it's great for what it is. A gamey, simple game made from the perspective of a delusional, childish maniac with a notable lack of care about most things around him. And that's kinda cool imo.
I didn't even know Deadpool wasn't always like this or that fans are divided on how he's written, this game was my first exposure to him so just assumed he was always like this
To me he is bit of both. He has is serious moments but he also bit insane too. Dude has immortality (though he can die but he seduces literally death itself and gets into fights with thanos over her) i mean imagine having immortality that even if you manage to die death just brings you back whenever you want to go back you can just do whatever be free and let loose. Back to what i am saying deadpool is like yakuza series they have their drama serious moments but they know to let loose and have fun too that life isn't always got to be full of grit and grim
They're really not divided at all, Ive never heard anyone complain about Deadpool like this, his original appearances no one thinks about or mentions because he wasn't interesting then. He was a straight up villain at first and way more serious. It was such a small time frame he was like that
@@evandaymon8303Yeah, but I don't believe this game "ruined" him or anything. The first 2 movies still had some serious moment in between the goofy stuff, just like a Yakuza game.
@@BuryTheLight-tds as your female gamer, I obviously had to hyperfocus on the romance between Death and Deadpool. It is just such a brilliant idea that he has this habit of getting close to death and is excited to meet death again. I was initially disappointed that movie deadpool's girlfriend is an actual person, but by the end of the first movie I got over it and figured that this lovestory was actually kinda real. That they actually then go ahead and had a new interpreted version of exactly that dilemma by having her be the entity he meets in death, that was a gutpunch I should have seen coming.
Honestly the game just feels like a vacation for deadpool, even as someone who likes the serious side of the character I don't at all think it "ruined" him. Even the most popular takes on the character (the movies) plays out the serious moments, like Wade getting the cancer diagnosis, getting revenge for being tortured, and pretty much every scene with vanessa in the second movie. I don't know man comic fans can get really really annoying about adaptations
I think it's because the general public's view of the character is that he's a walking pun and reference dispenser. People misunderstanding Deadpool is what's lead to all the copycats in recent years like what DC has tried to do with Harley Quinn and Punchline.
@@InReserveProductions Thing is people love him anyway, sure there are those that hate the guy but you're not gonna please everyone. Fans of the older comics are gonna be mad but when are comic book fans not mad at something new lol
The “$100 million budget” was part of the joke because their actual budget was pretty small for a triple A game. The joke was “you blew 100 million dollars in one level and now you are stuck with this.” The actual budget was about 7 million
Maybe he talks about the tone of Deadpool I GOT to say, i really dislike the humor of Ryan being "references" (something Disney put in the comics) Because they kinda OUTDATED the jokes in years I prefer the Dumb toaster level of humour of Deadpool Game, in fact some jokes are Creative like the budget the cheap effects or just a family Guy Joke about something unreleated to the dialogue
Some people completely forgot that the insert song that was used during the first movie for Deadpool hunting down the list of people was made by a fan because of the game.
You know, Wolverine & Deadpool movie is soon to be release in theaters and is getting really hyped, so making a video about one of the main characters is good for views.
I miss High Moon Studios they made one of my favorite games of all time with Fall of Cybertron, wish they had gotten the chance to make more games on their own
@@Ezdine_G8261 perfectly understandable, I cant decide between my favorite 3 games so i just always say its one of my favorites. But Fall of Cybertron is the one game that I replay atleast once every year and the first game that I installed on my Deck and played through before installing literally anything else. Heck i regularly listen to the OST when doing stuff, Catacombs Guardian, Shockwaves Torture Lab, Burial Ground Fight, Hatch Fight and of course the banger Main Theme are incredible pieces of music. The game is pretty much the perfect themepark action game imo
I think when people say “Deadpool is ruined” they are more upset by Ryan Reynold’s personality seeping into the character and the current state of Marvel. I like R.R as Deadpool, but I can see how people are getting tired of him and would point to this as the inception of the “annoying” Deadpool. (Which is funny given R.R’s portrayal of Deadpool isn’t far from the comics)
What people should be more upset about is Spiderman 2099 from the Spiderverse movies seeping into the comics version, Miguel wasn't always a complete edgelord.
It’s crazy how we live in a world where even casuals don’t really like Ryan Reynolds for his accurate portrayal of the comics but people can really like a water down Deadpool who has no substance and no interaction with his characters other than trying to inappropriately touch females in his own video game that’s crazy to me. This game can be fun and it can be funny but that’s the only good thing about it everything else around it literally is either paperthin or just straight up wrong
Nah he is trying to pull the relation between the Game with the movie IS NOT EVEN THE SAME, the Game is more Creative and funny than Ryan rating about Marvel references The only relation is the popularity of the character, without this Game maybe we couldnt have the Movie
@@Morfe02 It’s funny that people want to hate on RR when he’s also the reason the deadpool film released and is actually a good portrayal of deadpool. Similar to the venom films, people are complaining about how the characters are but they are pretty damn accurate lol. Pov: Dc/marvel comic book fans when the story isnt edgy/gory, has sad moments and is just using shock factor to make a good product (like bro have you seen some of the new comics? they suck ass)
you know what would be neat? Capcom having the DMC team make a Deadpool game. considering it looks like Capcom and Marvel are starting to mend their relationship i think it's possible for something like that to happen.
As much as I love Capcom (they created my favorite game of all time), I don't think they could do Deadpool Justice the only studio I think that should do a Deadpool game is insomniac but only if they do wolverine right
@@smokeymcbongwaterEww no, y'all only know like two developers. Insomniac should just handle Spider-Man and Wolverine (the leaks also say they're doing X-Men too) Deadpool should be with a developer known for their in depth hand to hand combat which Insomniac doesn't have
I'd like that, but it's really just going to delay DMC games that are currently in development, and the fandom's about as insane as the Arkham fanbase right now because all we got was a sh#tty mobile game in these years. I'd rather someone else handle it, PlatinumGames maybe?
Because comic book nerds they don't know that this game is just suppose to be funny it's supposed to be a game that's made by deadpool and how he sees himself
So you’re OK with a water down version of Deadpool who has no real interaction with his cast especially the woman and only really sees females as things to inappropriately touch? How is that OK with you bro lmao
@@thesupersucc4966 i’d rather be a comic book nerd than a charlatan casual who acts like he knows who Deadpool is and is completely OK with Deadpool being a actual good character to somebody who just inappropriate touches women and games. Like imagine if a new Spider-Man or Batman game came out and you already know the basis of the character if they came out just only talking to females in a sexual manner and wanting to touch them inappropriately wouldn’t you get annoyed? If Spider-Man’s substance and humor was water down wouldn’t you get annoyed? You act like things can’t be fun with substance.
@Turba_1234 yeah that's different, Batman and Spidey never act like that, Deadpool however on occasion does, this game is just an adventure for Deadpool that's just a side quest.
I loved the game and thought it was very funny growing up. Never really seen Deadpool as a serious dark and gritty character. The game introduced me to Deadpool and I love it but thatight just be me
That’s how it is with everybody but realistically you’re settling yourself for less if you like this character Deadpool still has a really fun moments in his comics. It’s annoying how people think just because something has substance means that you can’t have fun with it or find it funny. What does this compare to the comics there’s barely anything to explore about him or his world. Plus he’s literally like Harvey Weinstein or P. Diddy in this game where he just is a complete weirdo to his own female cast which he never is like that in his own comics
@@Flungz_99 I didn't say just because it has substance it's lame or anything. I like deep writing but I just never say Deadpool like that. Look I don’t mind him being perverted he was like that even an ultimate alliance which is the best rendition of Deadpool outside the comics but that still doesn’t mean that he should have like no interaction with them other than wanting to inappropriately touched him to become Harvey Weinstein. I would like to see him actually like have an interaction with his cast but yeah I don’t blame him for being down bad for both of themlmao
The thing is the character was ruined because deadpool was always a deep character he made jokes just to hide how hes always in pain or hating himself and after this game we NEVER got that vesion of deadpool againg after this game from this game to today deadpool as just become a joke character hes not deep at all anymore
@@thatguyfromA6915 This is also the fault of his comics though. He has some runs that add good depth but also many runs that just forget about that depth. This game is if deadpool made a game for himself. It’s accurate in that regard lol
@@A.H.goose1 the thing is it could have just been an era of the charater that dint last that long like that time deadpool had the face of tom cruz but thanks to this game having that version of the character it got to WAY more people than the comic ever could (because let be honest not alot of people read comics when you compare them to games its way easier to get a character popular with a game than with a comic) so that version of deadpool got seen by more people and became the deadpool that we always get so yeah this game did ruin deadpool
Well I had to break it to you buddy but this game literally tells you nothing about that poor other than the general conceptuses. You still know nothing about his world or his enemies or his supporting cast which people often forget that Deadpool‘s best friend will always be weasel you also probably don’t even know if you’re supposed to have a raspy voice. If you’re a fan through this game then you’re just a fan of this game but not really Deadpool and I’m not saying this to gate keep mean like seriously this game does not represent him well it’s still a fun game but he actually doesn’t touch females inappropriately and has way more interesting lore surrounding him in his comics
I get some people don't like how the game doesn't take itself seriously and is a full on comedy action game. But with all the superhero video games out there, I think it's alright to have the one goofy game go to Deadpool.
This is the thing that these casuals commenting on here don’t understand though it’s totally fine to have a completely Funny Deadpool game the problem we are really having is the fact that the character is not being represented well and secondly there’s no substance or actual representation
@Turba_1234 I really like Deadpool as a character, it's ok for people to like the game for the way it is man, hell most people haven't even played this game since it isn't available so this version of the character isn't as well known as the comics and movies
If people really expected the PINNACLE of gaming, A DEEP WELL FOCUSED story and INNOVATIVE new gameplay mechanics… YALL forgot this is what happens when DEADPOOL pushes for a video game.
@ManiacMayhem7256 Well nobody wants to someone to needlessly be nitpicking. I haven’t been bothered by Hugh Jackman being Wolverine because he isn’t Canadian or short. Only people who haven’t found love would complain like that. Yet I see stuff like this. These are the type of people who have back pains because they lean forward towards the monitor being on the internet all day.
I hate the idea that something can ruin a character. Deadpool has been around for a long time, one game and a few movies didn't ruin any of that. Maybe the stories changed a bit going forward, but so what. You still have decades to fall back on. It's like Halo. The tv show is awful, as were the last few games, but that doesn't retroactively ruin the original games made by Bungie. People that make these arguments are pathetic.
Do you not understand it's just a way to describe the problem those additions have into the series of relevent entries as a whole? They call it character assassination in literature and shifting to a bad direction is something makes an entry shit and fans of the total should bring up, unless you hate the customers saying what what a miss in a series they are invested in.
This is where you’re wrong the people who actually make the argument that substance and respecting the source material is bad and having a bad inaccurate representation is good. That’s what is a pathetic argument. This game is supposed to be a official licensed product and what would bring Deadpool into the main stream so you think that this game and at least represent him well and as far as adding substance into this game that’s not necessarily bad you can still have a overall goofy funny game and have fun with it while having substance. It doesn’t have to be 100% accurate but it also doesn’t have to be a 100% degration of the character
@@coldeed spoken like a true genius. Like literally this game was supposed to bring this character into the main stream this game was supposed to be the game that defined Deadpool as a character and it ruined that chance so hard and just because something is supposed to have substance does not mean that you can’t have fun with it or overall make it funny These casuals find it easy to say this because they don’t know the character
Great insight. I got a voice acting background and have to say Nolan North's voice has been such an inspiration for me since the first Uncharted. The vocal training was really tough, sometimes without noticeable results for months but actors like him are a great impulse to not give up; was almost Leon in those new RE games :) Great video.
I’ve seen you on another video and no you weren’t bud. And even if you did land the job you would’ve sucked. The person they got is so much better than you would’ve been 😂
About how there used to be a deeper person beneath the mask/the humour - I remember one Deadpool comic where he is on Genosha, investigating a murder that seems to make no sense because the footprints are completely disconnected with one of them on the ceiling. Everyone else is confused how this happened and Deadpool just shows them, performing an acrobatic act that perfectly matches the footprints. The scene is funny but not played for laughs as he realizes he was the one to kill the victim and he doesn't remember it or why he did it. So on one hand you have jokes and funny scenes but the topic was grim, about a man whose brain is constantly eaten by cancer to the point that he can't control himself. On Genosha he was finally somewhat accepted among the mutants but he had to leave because he realized he would always be a danger to people around him. There was also a segment in a different comic where he sets up a perfect assassination while the X-men try to stop him (he thought he was helping) and it was shown that he often follows plans he made while somewhat cognizant without knowing the meaning behind them. It was all very funny but also tragic when you realize that there is a deeply intelligent and tactical person somewhere inside but it's held back by his constantly degrading and healing brain.
I think you're talking about Cable and Deadpool, it isn't genosha but rather an island that cable owns, which is a peaceful and diverse island, also the guy he killed was a reformed terrorist
@@Over-Packed You might be right, I do remember that the victim was not exactly innocent. To be fair, it was a bigger plot outside of the Deadpool series so I don't know anything outside of what was in the issue. I saw mutants on an island so I assumed it was Genosha.
I mean yeah he was a crazy good Canadian SF operator if I'm remembering his back story right. Deadpool is hyper lethal, but he's also just completely insane with cancer eating his body at a rate so fast that he's constantly in a state of pain and dying. Yet he still finds joy in life and that's why I fucking love him.
And then we go what you explained with some thing in a positive manner or something that had substance and that’s what this game should’ve had but he’s casual idiots are arguing saying that the game would be bad or not as good if it just focused on the substance switch that couldn’t be further from the truth
@@kattkatt6961Well he doesn’t really find joy in life he actually has a really depressed and traumatized person who has a lot of issues but he jokes to cope with the pain

I love the fact at some point you have to get to the other side of a room but there's no platforms to walk on, so he end up walking on his speech bubbles to get to the other side 😂❤ thankyou High Moon 🌖 do another game for Deadpool❤
I will give you that I think the psychology nuance of Deadpool in this game is amazing or at least pretty good and the entertainment value is through the roof with a comedy for the most part but unfortunately past that there’s literally nothing left it’s either just straight up bad bastardization or it’s just paperthin dryness
despite the movies being so unserious, colossus still cares about him even if he’s an idiot, which makes me happy because it makes it slightly emotional and wade has people who still cares for him
Before Deadpool came out in 2016 I was already very interested in the character, had played this game and read a lot of Deadpool comics. And I think in a lot of ways it did get lost in translation that the pathos of his character being that he was a mercenary before becoming a mutant he was tortured and Just wanted to die. Quite a lot of the runs in the comics did Lean more on the humour but I keep thinking to a particular story called the good the bad and the ugly where he finds out he had impregnated a woman who had his child and that she was interred and killed. But he also has been a horrible asshole who tortured his friends and could be immensely selfish.
It’s not even yapping it’s actual fans versus casuals whereas the casuals think that the substance is bad and the bastardization is good we say otherwise. The game is fun but you’re literally settling yourself or less if you like this version of him because it’s a more bland version you don’t get to explore much from him and he has no interaction with his characters and as far as the females go he just literally goes for Harvey Weinstein mode so I don’t really think that’s an enjoyable version
I think the Grey's Greens and Browns was a commentary of how games were back in the day There was a strange trend of the 360 era where video games portrayed "realism" as just dirt browns for some reason
Honestly, I really enjoyed the game. It’s not a good adaptation of the character, and the combat is not that good. But the humor was good enough to keep me entertained from beginning to end. I was also lucky enough to find a copy of the game on PS4 for €15 back in 2022. Which is a perfect price for it in my opinion. It’s nothing extraordinary, but it is a fun ride, and it deserved better than to be delisted and (legally) lost to time
Cee you’re one of the few people I respect you’re not bashing the Substance should have and you’re not disrespecting the source material like these casuals out here I can’t stand this version of the character but I do admit he has some really good funny moments and the psychology new ones of Deadpool in this game is really interesting and pretty well done and the gameplay is fine it just sucks that everything else pretty much has crappy the characters in this game are pointless they are just there to give exposition Orby inappropriately touched and Deadpool just has no real relationship with him
If there were to be a new Deadpool game, I would like it to be made by Capcom and specifically the Devil May Cry team I genuinely believe Deadpool would be a perfect fit for the DMC formula And for the next gen release you could have Blue Deadpool as a joke about how Vergil is constantly always the "Special Addition" character
My first introduction to Deadpool as a character was in X-Men Legends 2: Rise of Apocalypse. I was definitely surprised by his voice lines when you first met him and was very pleasantly surprised when he was unlocked at the end. I thought he was sick af being able to teleport, regen HP, he had guns, swords, for some reason Nitrogen bombs and was shown to be a wisecracking silly guy who took up mercenary work, I loved him, I always thought the newer iterations of him were a bit odd.
I have to give you the biggest respect in this comment section for actually having that experience because realistically X-Men legends to an ultimate alliance Deadpool are the best iterations of Deadpool outside his own comics and John Kassir as Deadpool Is super criminally underrated as Deadpool and is essentially need to finish the voice of Deadpool considering Deadpool is supposed to have a raspy voice it sucks that they don’t ever have him reprise his role
@@Flungz_99 I appreciate that. Deadpool has always been such a cool character to me and my first introduction to him really sealed that. None of my friends, or anyone I know personally, have played Rise of Apocalypse or Marvel Alliance, so it's always been hard to explain who Deadpool was to me in comparison to who he was to them.
I love it and it’s entertainment factor but behind the entertainment factor there’s literally nothing in their diplomas paperthin the characters don’t really have interesting interactions with Deadpool let alone the females since Deadpool really doesn’t have any opinion towards them other than he wants to bang them and touch them inappropriately kind of sucks
@@C9MasterSwagKingNot this game this game is a pure bastardization of Deadpool still a fun game but bro literally has no substance the plat has no substance in the characters have little to no interaction with him
Finally! Bro, this game made me a bigger Deadpool fan. Why do people always suggest it ruined Deadpool? Though, I still enjoy the serious stories of Deadpool.
Well here’s why it’s because it waters down his substance as a character not only that but Daniel way the guy who wrote the game also wrote the comics around the same time contradicting Deadpool as this complete womanizer who inappropriately touch his woman and has no interest in actually having a relationship with them but in his comics the very same version of Deadpool is completely respectful around woman and Ashley has conversations with them. So the fact that we have a water down Deadpool who is obsessed with memes and is essentially Harvey Weinstein makes the Deadpool game ruined him not only that but the game also gave incentive for the casuals to dress up as Deadpool and become their own little Harvey Weinstein’s at conventions

People liking Deadpool because he’s popular and not because of the character himself is a different story which most people like Deadpool because it’s popular to like him and because his video game is popular.

@@PsychoMagnet Yeah it’s pretty unfortunate I still like the game when it comes to the fun factor I think it’s really good but it’s definitely far from the end all be all definitive Deadpool experience. I’d say that would go to ultimate alliance and in some respects midnight suns.
The argument you made about things not being as cool when they are mainstream is a problem I sometimes have too. My gripe I've found over time isn't the fact that something I love becomes mainstream but rather the people who bandwagon on who lack the passion or interest that I have for the same thing. Let's take for example Batman. When TDK came out it was everywhere & unavoidable. Everyone went to see it right? Well I loved it because I was a massive Batman fan. I loved the villain portrayals (Was stoked to see Aaron Eckhart. Lowkey was already a fan of his lesser known stuff before TDK). A girl I was friends with at the time tried to talk to me about it knowing I was all about Batman. The thing is she didn't know nor care to know anything about the characters, mythos, motivations, etc, etc, to do with Batman. I come to find out she only went to see it cause her friends decided they were gonna go see it & she went along with it & the only reason they even decided to go see it was because it was the "cool thing" to do at the time. That's essentially my gripe with things becoming mainstream or super popular.

Ruined on what ? The game is absolute original hilarious and EVEN has a lot of "movie" sense of humour (black and white, 2006 animation, 8 bits) I absolute hate how the movie of Ryan can't be 1/4 of the game In fact something interesting is how this game help or push Deadpool the movies, and at the same time two spiderman games inspired the last spiderverse movie 😂😂

I think this game was very on point with Deadpool's character. His zany behavior, the heaps of references and his 4th wall demolishing ability just felt like the studio did their homework to a "T".
Just me that think the movies do a great job? Sure they're funny but they have extremely sad moments in every entry, deadpool and wolverine being the best entry yet

You clearly don’t understand what you’re saying he’s basically saying that Domino is hot and I’m sure just like me he doesn’t mind that Deadpool can be perverted Deadpool was like that in ultimate alliance which was and still is the best version of Deadpool represented outside of his own comics. But Deadpool would only really make perverted remarks and do it one or two times every other female he saw he would actually have quirky and interesting dialogue with that didn’t involve sex. I mean I’m pretty damn bad for domino as well so I think it’s OK for Deadpool to be perverse but not every time he sees a female let alone touching them inappropriately like Harvey Weinstein
what the combat needed for a game like this is to emulate the systems that DMC has. I think making it more of a hack and slash rather than an average action game would've given the gameplay the bump in flavor it needed

I loved this game. I wish we had more games that were actually funny like this. This game is basically Austin Powers with more violence. Disney, take notes. This is funny. More of this, please.
Say what you want about the Daniel way run but it wasn’t even that bad I actually think it was pretty decent the only reason this game truly ruined Deadpool is because it went crossing the line to the point where Deadpool what happened straight up no interaction with these women and we just become Harvey Weinstein around them and that lead these casuals who were introduced by Deadpool through the game to dress up as Deadpool and become their own little Harvey Weinstein at conventions it was pretty cringe
I personally loved the game. Then again I think memepool is funny and I like being annoying, so it might be those cringe factors that make me enjoy it more. I believe now we can do better story and combat wise, but right here was fine for the character where it felt like it’s made with love for comedy and the character.
The movies are awesome. The only thing they do wrong is the fight scenes. They need to extend them quite a bit and show how deadly deadpool really is. There are glimpses but not nearly enough

@@Android-Twenty-One Well-put, glad that other people saw that too. And i mean, sure, it's fair if people would prefer if the game had some darker tones. Honestly, i think that'd be a bit better.

That they actually then go ahead and had a new interpreted version of exactly that dilemma by having her be the entity he meets in death, that was a gutpunch I should have seen coming.

And then we go what you explained with some thing in a positive manner or something that had substance and that’s what this game should’ve had but he’s casual idiots are arguing saying that the game would be bad or not as good if it just focused on the substance switch that couldn’t be further from the truth

That’s fair but really realize that this game didn’t do that for justice and did pretty much ruined him this game does lag substance aside from the funny moments the interesting psychology nuance and define gameplay
I just found your channel, and I love your ability to look at this game from the developers point of view and being rational with you critic
Not liking popular things while his favorite superhero is Spiderman is contradictory 😭
There are always exceptions and as I said I’m trying not to be like that
I don’t even think you understand what he saying he likes Spider-Man because Spider-Man is a well written character despite him being popular. People liking Deadpool because he’s popular and not because of the character himself is a different story which most people like Deadpool because it’s popular to like him and because his video game is popular.
This is the 3 video I saw of someone talking about this game
I mean, the 3rd movie is coming out pretty soon.
This is DEFINITELY a Deadpool game
I mean partially the other half is just an accurate bastardization of a character that sadly gets degraded
That farmers wrap and iced capp line was so real
I’d say it’s in the so bad it’s good videogame category

Even though I prefer the more serious Deadpool stories, this game was still genuinely hilarious to me.
I completely agree I just don’t understand why his casuals think that the bastardization is good but the substance and source material are bad that’s pretty funny to me
@@Flungz_99 Most likely they've never read the source material like most people that hate the character.
@@PsychoMagnet Yeah it’s pretty unfortunate I still like the game when it comes to the fun factor I think it’s really good but it’s definitely far from the end all be all definitive Deadpool experience. I’d say that would go to ultimate alliance and in some respects midnight suns.
@@Flungz_99 I'm not really into Midnight Suns' gameplay but Ultimate Alliance on PS2 is actually what introduced me to the character.

4th wall... budget. Hmm. Someone make a game where you're a Merc earning money and the more you obtain, the better the game looks
haven't watched yet but ngl this game is what got me into deadpool lol
I really dont understand the people who hate deadpool because of how hes not how he was written in the 90s come on get over it hes never going back to how he was
20:50 sums it up perfectly

way better review than fuzzyslippers
Ruined on what ? The game is absolute original hilarious and EVEN has a lot of "movie" sense of humour (black and white, 2006 animation, 8 bits)
I absolute hate how the movie of Ryan can't be 1/4 of the game
In fact something interesting is how this game help or push Deadpool the movies, and at the same time two spiderman games inspired the last spiderverse movie 😂😂
Tell me you haven't read a comic or understand a character without telling me that you haven't
@@Wizardmaster85_3.0 lol he even say you have two deadpools in the comics (the funny and the Dumb blablabla)
I dont say one is better than other, but the Deadpool Game is funny 🤷
If you want to Talk about comics, Talk about comics im mention the film and the Game the actual current deadpools (and the Disney Deadpool which is just Ryan Reynolds writing on paper)

I think this game was very on point with Deadpool's character. His zany behavior, the heaps of references and his 4th wall demolishing ability just felt like the studio did their homework to a "T".
Just me that think the movies do a great job? Sure they're funny but they have extremely sad moments in every entry, deadpool and wolverine being the best entry yet
i had this game around 2014 2015 ish for the 360, its a really fun game but the story is just something and that something certainly began to ruin the deadpool character for me as a whole
but here i am playing it on my ps3 trying to get the platinum, and im sort of enjoying the story, but thats probably the heavy backbreaking work Nolan North and Cables va is doing, and Lady Death as a whole
I thought the game was cool only thing I didn’t like was not being able to use the other costumes in story mode.
the face reveal waS shoking

1:46 - Can't imagine getting a burn that bad from Deadpool over a decade before it happened.
17:52 Acting as if you didn't pull that same joke yourself in 14:15...
1:50 now kris from mr beast
My favorite deadpool stories are the ones where he is trying to die or save his family were he is really serious
what the combat needed for a game like this is to emulate the systems that DMC has. I think making it more of a hack and slash rather than an average action game would've given the gameplay the bump in flavor it needed
Just a clear example of 90% of deadpool fans never picked up a comic book. Bunch of fake fans and half of them cant tell you his real name
Was expecting a Godzillamendoza mention...
Bald Aqua was the biggest jumpscare I've ever seen.

It’s not beloved by everybody what are you talking about if you’re talking about the casuals yes most of the casuals are Deadpool fans nowadays who don’t really know anything about the character so of course they’re going to like it
Deadpool, the video game, was about Deadpool.
Deadpool, the movie, was about Ryan Reynolds saving his stripper who pegs him from an interchangeable British villain, and he narrates to the audience sometimes.
Well Deadpool the video game was really about a ruined version of Deadpool that literally has no substance along with the story having no substance and he also has this Harvey Weinstein version of himself where he doesn’t really care about females and only wants to touch them inappropriately yeah this game sucks
this game was a major success until it became delisted from the game store twice, making it worth way less in canada and america, but then made it worth way more in europe and the uk
19:47 bro made a mistake wile editing and put MW3 with “some of the best CoD games” but called MW2 some of the worst
This game did NOT ruin Deadpool lmaoo
I loved this game. I wish we had more games that were actually funny like this. This game is basically Austin Powers with more violence. Disney, take notes. This is funny. More of this, please.
This isn't the sole fault of the game. This started with Daniel Way's run and only further changed Deadpool's character from there.
0:04 avgeners endgame easter egg? I know I'm making a huge stretch but its Deadpool marvel Jesus we are talking about here
I personally loved the game.
The 4th wall breaking psychopath is ruined because the game with his name has him be a 4th wall breaking psychopath? Sorry we must be thinking of different characters.
really appreciate the use of what i think is the ultimate spiderman ps2 music in the background around 8:30 ish
