Lamborghini Murcielago R-SV GT1 EPIC Sound at Spa-Francorchamps + OnBoard!!

- I finally managed to see and hear what is my favorite racecar and possibily my new favorite sounding cars: the Lamborghini Murcielago LP670 R-SV. The car has been modified by Reiter Engineering in order to race in the last years of the FIA GT championship as a GT1-class car.
During the 2017 Spa Classic event the owner of this beast, Stéphane Ratel, drove it during a couple of sessions dedicated to old endurance cars and organized by Global Endurance Legends.
Can't get enough of that screaming V12!!

The old Lamborghini V12 is probably one of the best sounding engines on a race track, and is for sure the best on the road. I still haven't heard a road car that sounds as good as the Murcielago.
The Aventador with a Powercraft exhaust sounds even better than the old V12,but of course that's not stock
Aventador soun is decent but this sounds more pure and more agressive.

Yea thats the old Lambo engine at its peak, same as in the diablo and countach before VW engineered a whole new block for the aventador
We need to thank Reiter in there too. Put that car in my hands and it won’t turn on, Reiter raced those cars

I'm sad to see that the old GT1 cars are basically all show cars now. I wouldn't be a sports car fan if it weren't for these cars. They were all equally as mad and brilliant. Thanks as always for the vid! Cheers!

I fell in love with the screams of a natural aspirated V12 added with the whine of a senquential trans from watching the clk gtr. This is one of my new favs lol.

imagine a gt1 aventador
TRAV there are some nasty and mean sounding Aventador's out there though with aftermarket exhausts..... I can picture a very angry sounding Aventador race car in my head
The Murcielago actually sounds a 100 times better than the Aventador, it is just simply more agressive, and it is Lambo we are talking about, it is a raging bull, not a tamed racing horse
the Aventador sound like the McLaren F1 GTR wich is the real V12 sound. the Murcielago sounds unique and is mainly caused by the exhaust(as the Lambo V12 are almost the same)

Murci's are by far the best sounding road cars ever made and this race car version is one of the best sounding cars I've heard and I always forgot this existed.
My favourite racecar, I love it so much. Shame we dont have GT1 anymore, those cars were monsters. Now I'm just waiting for video with Venturi ;)

1:11 anyone know why they do this ? I often see it and think it might have something to do with warming the engine up but I'm not 100% sure.
