you are sooo underrated! definitely my new comfort booktube channel ♡♡
i'm gonna start bawling this is literally the cutest comment omg thank you zyrah 😭💖
that is so kind thank you ❤️ and i hope so !!
I thought the hype behind Sarah J Maas was all noise, but I after reading it for my book club, I realize that regardless of what your opinion of the book is, the ensuing discussion with your peers/friends is MAGICAL. Everything from plot points to the wildly descriptive you-know-what scenes are so fun to discuss.
omg never thought of it this way - maybe I need to force my friends to also read the series so we can properly discuss it lol
That is quite the eclectic mix of reading ! "I'm a fan" sounds like one worth checking out when I have time. This month I've been reading "A Suitable Boy" by Vikram Seth, "Fourteen Days" and every month I'm taking part in a Shakespeare read along and this month was "The Merry Wives Of Windsor". I have a love hate relationship with Shakespeare, I want to love him, and I keep trying but sometimes I just don't get it at all.
oooo a shakespeare read along sounds interesting! i know what you mean - i want to love his work so bad but when i attempt to read his work i have literally no idea what's going on
@@katerinareemI just picked up a book today that I think will be really helpful "Everyday Shakespeare- Lines for life" by Ben & David Crystal. Each day of the year is one page, a quote from Shakespeare explained in a quick paragraph that takes minutes to read. The quotes are from all of his works and tells you which play the quote is from to help you understand that context easier.
just found it on my kindle for 99p so I immediately bought it !! thank you so so much for the rec, i'm so excited to read it ahhhh
@@katerinareemWhat a great deal ! I've already found it helpful reading the old English with modern explanations of what it means in what context. Hope you enjoy it
Very nice your feb was book-wise it seems ;) Also the way you tell what the book is, is just awesome. The most beautiful thing is how you add your personal touch to it by reading us your favourite quotes and paragraphs from the book - that is just beautiful and thoughtful. I hope you keep doing that, I really love that part. Thankyou for the video.
thank you so much !! yes before I started my own channel, it was always something I wish other booktubers did because I wanted to know what the book was about and more specific things about it to know whether it was worth reading or not!
@@katerinareem oh wow, this is so nice to hear. You do it so beautifully.
that's incredibly kind of you, thank you!
You popped up on my Home page, but I am instantly hooked! Your reads are very similar taste to mine, and I am now a happy new sub :)

really loved this video. super comforting vibes. feel the same way about ACOTAR lol, never continued with the series but i did not have a bad time with the first book.
thank you so much !! honestly i see so many people read ACOTAR i feel like i'm missing out by not giving it a go - hopefully i'll read the second book soon so you can see my thoughts on it lol
just added "miracle in the andes" to my TBR ..sounds like an amazing book, Thank you darling and I'm also reading the second book in the ACOTAR series
please let me know what you think when you read it! and omg fingers crossed this second is more spicy than the first
I love your book taste!
ahhhh thank you so much !!
finally, someone who hated My Sister, the Serial Killer as much as i did! this month i read Red Seas Under Red Skies, How to Sell a Haunted House, The Hero of Ages, and Plain Bad Heroines. currently reading Wuthering Heights which I'll probably finish before the month is over
honestly i just didn't understand the hype i saw for it! oooo interesting collection of books, which was your favourite this month?
@@katerinareem oh my favourite book of the month was Red Seas Under Red Skies, the second book in the Gentleman Bastard series! highly recommend - it's just so funny, full of adventure, and the characters are amazing.
love that, i'll check out the series bc they sound great!
Your voice is so smoothing❤️❤️
omg thank you so much 😭😭 sometimes i get sick of my voice when editing my videos LOL
Oh wow we literally have the same taste in books! So many of these I have read and enjoyed :) Glad that I found this channel. Loved the video.

Aren’t we all a lil obsessed with Enzo Vogrincic lol

hello miss, this is officialy my new favorite booktube channel🥰🥰
i’m screaming this is such a lovely comment omg !!
@@katerinareem we have really similar taste in books and i actually struggle to find less booktok, more grown up book recommendations. i love your content!! ❤️❤️❤️
@@90trbl i find the same problem with booktok, have the recs on there are not my taste at all 😩 glad i can recommend books to you that are more in line with you preferences !! 🤗
ooo i really liked society of the snow and was wondering if the book was worth the read after knowing the story that the movie told... might have to pick that up, i really want to know more about the day to day thoughts the group was having. i still CANNOT wrap my head around how its possible there were survivors.
honestly same, but I went down such a rabbit hole when I saw the movie omg i'm still obsessed!
can I recommend you books?🥺
of course you can !! also love to see your name is also katerina✨
@@katerinareem haha yes❤️ If you like “Lolita” and “my dark Vanessa”here is “Fang Si-Chi's First Love Paradise” by Lin Yi-han. Autobiographical novel by woman who endured “relationships” with her teacher. She took her own life after publishing this work at age 26. it’s painfully sincere and soo beautifully whritten. 😭
“Woman in the Dunes” by Kobo Abe - a true masterpiece! Existential chaotic adventure though sands and life meaning.
kazuo ishiguro “The Buried Giant” - a beutiful metaphoric fable about memory.
genuine question, why do you use “out of 10” rating instead of “5-star” rating?
i don't have an actual reason tbf! i suppose i thought it was more specific than 5 stars but i realise that people do half stars too so it's basically the same, i may switch to stars soon as i see that it's the more popular way of rating books lol
