I was feeling good about my Core Pads (with an LGG Venus) until you called them Chris Bosh. Now I’m gonna spend the next week trying to not buy BTL or Tiger Ice skates because I know my mouse skates are not the reason I’m bad at games. Edit: always love a good tierlist video, so thanks for the update to this one.
Please we need an updated Tier List with X-raypad Jade and Obsidian Skates, Ghostglides Edgerunner and some OEM Skates from China that seems similar (ex: ultraglide). Please review some new PTFE Skates because as a new Glass mousepad user i'm a bit disapointed when everyone talk about new glass skates (cant use them on glass pad :S) but not about new PTFE Skates. And with so many glass / hard mousepad coming this years from padsmith, gamesens, pulsar, cerapad, razer and others i think it's a great time to review some unknown and new PTFE Skates.
I would certainly agree with your list and one thing to mention is the pad itself which has a huge impact on how any of these skates work. Excellent video 👍😎 Personally, I like a solid aluminum core mouse pad with PVC or other similar materials. If you're using glass skates, if you sneeze, your mouse will be on the floor. I have yet to try a glass mouse pad but never say never. All I know is you can't use glass on glass, but something like Tiger Ice or similar well that's another story.
@@emma6648 .. I would try Tiger Ice. Overall for quality and price and different (surfaces), it's an excellent starting point. Glass skates like those from Pulsar in my opinion are very difficult to control but on a fabric pad or a heavy mouse it's a valid choice.
I've really had bad a experience with the Superglides for my G Pro X. Amazing after a week of usage but destroyed my Padsmith Pad after not even a month of use. Seem to wear down pads extremely fast.
i weirdly had the opposite effect with my pulsar glass skates they started off extremely muddy and slow ( not sure maybe a manu defect and had a film on it or something ) but after breaking them in for a few days they kept getting faster lol and have been super fast for months.
@@boardzy yeah what i assumed because they were fucking garbage when i first put them on I was actually super mad lmao but i just grinded the mud for a few days and they got to a point of 0 initial friction and have been that way for months. I got Lethal glass skates coming ima throw on 2 other mice and see how that goes.
Hey @boardzy nice review as always! So, if I want to choose only 1 skate for gpx to use on my razer strider pad or endgame gear mpc cordura what's best for me? I play Valorant, Farlight 84, Fortnite, Pubg and Dota 2. Thanks, boardzy and keep up the good work!
@boardzy what mouse skates do you mainly use? i have a hayate otsu xsoft with tiger ice skates and i’m wondering if superglides would be better? worried about them wearing down my mousepad tbh and i’ve heard superglides get worn down a LOT over months of use so i’m just wondering what you daily drive for mouse skates. also want to note that i use the viper v2 pro. thanks for all the content you make brother you’re literally the reason i’m autistically obsessed with shit like this in the first place
For people that dont know, its important to note that skates feel different depending if its a larger surface area skate vs. the tiny skates (example: g pro x vs starlight 12). same skate feels faster on mice I use with the smaller surface area skates & I get more stopping power with a larger skate.I could be dumb af though. anyone else experience this?
arc 2’s are better than stock skates for sure. Found on a hybrid surface these skates are the best balance with speed and a slight amount of control. I have tried so many skates and arc2 is my go to choice for consistency for my aim
i went from the corepads for my superlight and g303 shroud edition to the corepad air.. i then found the sapphire skates and decided to try it out for my superlight and i absolutely loved them so much that i bought another set for my g303 which is arriving in two days. i must of got the second batch since they feel amazing. they also look really nice and can remove then and reinstall them anytime i want to if i do any more modding to my mice.. the dude that made them worked for asus and razer in the past so im pretty sure he knows some things about gaming.. lol..
I bought g floats thinking they would be the same as glass skates and now using them they feel so different to the stock feet. If I dont put any pressure on the mouse they are really low friction but if I put any weight on the mouse it increases the friction quite considerably
@@TheMasterTMTheMaster1507 I was using the mz1 at the time. I switched recently to the artisan type 99 mid with corepads ctrl and the zowie u2 liking it better. smooth fast glide and surface but micro adjustments are easy its really nice.
Been rocking the Corepad Skatez Air on my Starlight 12 with a Skypad 3.0 and it is an orgasmic experience, if you can afford the skypad with the CP Skatez Air I would 10000000% recommend it.
Good evening boardz, I'm looking to buy a mousepad and a feet, to play csgo and valorant, I'm thinking about buying an Artizan zero because of the stopping Power and a Pulsar Superglides because of the small initial friction. Do you have any other recommendations for mousepads and feet for csgo and valorant players? (My mouse g pro superlight)
As someone who likes the stock skates on the GPX but is interested in trying aftermarkets, I really wish there was a way to buy replacements from Logitech directly. Then I could change them back if I end up not liking any of the other offerings. I really just want something that's similar speed to stock with a slightly lower static friction/smoother. Seems like Corepads might be the way to go based on the description of them.
Bought two packs of tiger ice today, would you recommend to dispose of stock ones right away or let them wear down first (mouse is G Pro X Superlight)? Also about global availability, I bought them in Russia, in Siberia without any delivery, yeah they made it even here.
the ceramic feet actually works pretty well on the strider, but if there's moisture, the mouse will be slow af, but then at the same time I'm so accurate with my shots, cuz there's so much control when is slow xD
I just buy razer viper v3 pro use it for 2 days it is better then gpx2 But do i need change mouse skate? Or change to tiger ice or corepad will be better then stock feet?
Same here I have the hayate ostu soft and I ended up using tiger ice on razer viper v2 end of day once they break in and wear down they feel controlled again.
What would you recommend for a boardzy x2? Pre ordered a Saturn pro, but currently on an control +. Ordered a aqua zero just to try. But if I hate it I’ll buy a control 2 until June July for the Saturn pro.

Also their performance is worse than what I've switched from (Tiger Arcs OG bought like 2 years ago) so yeah, I got played by the AIR and SPEED marketing. SHOCKING
I know they weren't mentioned, but, to me, the hotline games 3.0 plus feet feel the best and most consistent on the skypad 3.0. The tiger ice skates have adhesive that protrudes too far over the edge which allows fuzz and hair to stick to the feet way easier causing that super unpleasant grinding feeling. The hotlines feel consistent and their adhesive doesn't have fuzz stick to it as easily.
