Love this tutorial without annoying background music. Have just made one for my back door and used 2 kilo of pebbles. Many thanks you are a good teacher x
Thank you Laura! I have some material that will be perfect for this project and it seems like a quick sew. Awhile back, I was gifted a door bag that I filled with litter too (I stuffed a plastic zip loc inside before I poured in the litter to keep the small pieces from escaping). Btw also thanks for the idea of trying out a new litter that I never knew about!
I love the project, Laura. I am probably going to do most of it with my serger. I think I will use gravel for my weights, i.e.: stuffing, gravel and then stuffing again on the bottom. 👍
My execution is bit off no matter how many things I make from your videos but you’re my greatest teacher. I have been having lots of fun and also figuring things out to cut time shorter. So thank you.
Perfect timing! I use one for our bathroom door and can make one using Christmas fabric. I like to use the polypropylene pellets for weighted projects because they're washable (I get them at Michael's).
Hi Laura, I love the idea because 2 of my metal spiral door stoppers snapped off so rather than put them in front of door I'll put them inside so the door doesn't hit the wall. LOL. Happy Thanksgiving!🦃
That is SO cute! I was thinking of using walnut shells in mine, but honestly, kitty litter is cheaper, and stones would last last longer. Great vlog! Thank you.
I love this. What a great idea to have something colour coordinated with the room. You have solved one of my problems. Now for the next: do you have a pattern for a quick and easy draft blocker for the bottom of a door?
This is by FAR the easiest and quickest way to sew a door stop. Thanks so much xxx
I can’t believe how easy this was! Thank you for the clear instructions!

Great idea. I’m going to put my gravel or kitty litter in a bag inside the door stop because of dust allergies. Thanx Laura.
I'm going to also and either put a small zipper or Velcro to close the bottom so the bag can be removed and the doorstop washed!
Easy and very clear …… thank you 🤩
Thank You I going to add this to my Christmas list to make for friends this year. See you next Tuesday just love your YT and your husband cooking YT.
