Can you please make a video on how to choose the right CMT and also, how to choose a Pattern Maker. In my town, not we dont have many places that can do both, nevermind just help guide a new designer to get the first collection done and online. Please help!!! PS _ i did watch the kathleen one, it is great!
You all prolly dont care at all but does anybody know a method to log back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I love any help you can give me.
@Killian Solomon i really appreciate your reply. I got to the site on google and Im waiting for the hacking stuff now. Seems to take quite some time so I will get back to you later with my results.
Oh yes! You threw a lot of good information into my face. I have to admit that I feel a bit overwhelmed about the fabrics' subject, but as you always say: it's our media, I do have to go and immerse myself in the subject, I am sure that as I get more familiar with it I will enjoy it more and more. Thanks for share so generously your knowledges and to motivate by transmitting your respect and passion for fashion.
This video includes so much pertinent information! and it's free! Thank you so much. it will definitely make it easier for me when selecting my fabrics.
everything about the vid, illustration, tone of voice is perfect in all your videos, it makes fashion design and learning much easier. Thank you for this channel
Thank you Zoe! This is quite helpful for breaking it down into an easy-to-follow systematic creative thought process. To see how you sketch is great learning too.
Wow, again Zoe Hong thank you so very much for making these great videos with very relatable facts to the Fashion Industry! On one hand you encourage us to be creative while on the other hand you make sure we keep in mind the true facts that we will need in order to be able to make it in the real world of clothing. Like you mentioned as well as the guest you had as a Costume Designer in a previous video, its so important to know fabrics because in the end its what makes it or breaks it. So fortunate to live in times when we all have access to great information like your channel!
Guess what Zoe I’m going back to school and enrolled into a fashion program at my local community college I’m so excited!!! 😩Thank you for your uploads you have no idea!
That embroidered lawn lace ❤ Also, I think it needs to be said, you have amazingly stylish handwriting. Pleasing to look at and legible at the same time.
You are just full of good information on fashion, wish i can spend some time with you and even learn from you, oh my God where do I start from? Thank you for sharing ill try to practice what you've said
I used to do this when I was a student. however when working in a large convection factory, it is better to use a straight body design, and clarify cuts and creases in the design so that pattern makers and tailors can translate it more easily
Is there a video talking about all the fabrics arounds ? Im learning by myself , and sometimes its kinda overwhelming because i dont know which direction to choose . I wanna make like a * paleter * but with samples of fabrics ....
@Zoe Hong Would you be a star and make a video on 'different fabrics to braid with'? Covering textures, softness, asthetic appeal etc I would really enjoy that and it would be a massive help for me! Keep up the awesome work. We share the same level of excitement when picking fabrics. Something which might make you laugh. Do you name you're sewing machine? I named mine Penelope and I speak to her as if she was my first vehicle getting me from A to B 😂🙈🙊
No, that's a matter of personal preference and usage. My only advice is to pick something that doesn't fray easily, like leather. Unless you want a frayed look. See, even that is about preference.
@@zoehongteaches It needs to be the darkest black i can find, preferrably eco-friendly, but not essential, have a distressed look, but not fall apart, not hugely exspensive and to cover a full length robe (head to toe) Any ideas? I'm also looking for a smooth, soft to the skin, black, non frayable, fabric, something which can be good for knots too. Any advice would be grand :)
I am from croatia and im 14 and i really dream about being fashion designer. I even hope after high school i will go abroad in fashion design school. P.S love u Zoe❤ Im so stupid 😂
Please give this video a thumbs up if you learned something new today! Don't forget to practice putting together fabric stories!
