- Prentiss Weatherford says he was outside his home in Louisville, Kentucky when he saw the alleged abduction of a 6-year-old girl on a bike. “He just walked up, grabbed her by the collar, picked her up off the bike, and then just tossed her in the passenger seat,” Prentiss told Inside Edition’s Steven Fabian. Prentiss jumped into his own car and chased after the suspect. He was able to get a partial license plate, and reported that to the police. #InsideEdition
I have no doubt he saved her life, had he not seen it go down, this child would be on a poster in Walmart with age progression for the next 30 years... we live in a scary world

Sadly we live in a world that is more dangerous than ever for kids I kept mine very close never a babysitter they came with me no exception but school vacations together or no vacation
Its so heartbreaking the way she was crying in the front seat like thats the first few moments of a nightmare for what some little girls and women faced and no one ever saw them again...I shouldnt think about these things too much...

This reminds me of another case. A lady was caught with marijuana and cocaine. She said the cocaine was not hers. She claimed the wind must have blown the cocaine into her purse. 😂

One never forgets. Hopefully she'll get proper therapy for that traumatic incident. That's the healthiest way to deal with it.

She NEVER will. Like EVER. I'm going to be surprised if she ever goes anywhere alone again. My best friend was kidnapped and missing for only 3 hours. She was 4. That was 48 years ago. She is still hyper sensitive. Mostly because her parents will go into super hyper protective mode (not blaming or shaming because I would too) and that will stick forever. All the therapy in the world Apparently does not help you forget something like that. I'm just glad nothing else happened, being taken is enough, can you imagine if that man wasn't there?

@@cyrenexd9822 DNA. All her DNA collects on the towel and not the car seats. An extra caution to make sure she can't be traced back to his car. Sometines DNA will collect between the crevices of seats making it harder to clean out. This guy's probably done it before....

That’s actually scary to think about, if he kept playing the role of bystander for even more than 10 seconds, that girls life as well as all of her friends and family’s lives would have been changed for the worse.
I have no kids but just hearing her crying saying, "I want my daddy" both hurts & angers me cuz if I had kids I would destroy anyone that would hurt my child. Can't imagine how the father felt.

A good guy saw something and did something. Saved that little girl from a event that could of ended her life or scarred her for life. Great job by law enforcement with a quick response. Glad they were not defunded or demoralized from doing their job.
