      thats the weird thing.
      everyone seems to know exactly that man was going for the kid and they are all moving a bit too fast for average people, not trained professionals, reacting on criminal scene. most people would be stunned a few sec before they reacts accordingly but these people already move to towards the kid before he even reach her.

      Totally, her instinct also kicked in and played a strong factor in favor of the poor baby. You can see how fast her thinking was because as soon as she sees the man she reacts moving her feet "to position herself" and jumps immediately, that gave the owner a window to do his kickass part. I hope this girl recovers from this trauma

    The reason he was charged with assault is because he went straight for that little girl's neck and tried to snap it, he wasn't going to take her because he was going to kill her and run. If he was going to take her, he would have grabbed under her arms or just grabbed her and ran but he didn't. In my opinion, it should be classed as attempted murder, it was clear what his intentions were

      They have to use ‘allegedly’ as everyone is technically considered ‘innocent until proven guilty’ regardless of the damning evidence. Once he’s been tried and convicted there will be no more ‘alleged’ about it.

    This wasn’t an attempted kidnapping this was 100% an attempted murder. Look at how he grabbed her literally exactly how you would snap someone’s neck one hand on the neck one on the head. If he was trying to kidnap her that is definitely not how he wouldve grabbed her especially with the family right there where he would’ve had to run away from them quickly
    Edit: If you pause it you can even see he seemed to twist her head one way but the mother held the girls head tightly to prevent it from going any farther. That was not a kidnapping attempt

I remember an incident here in the UK where the 'Father' (I only use that as it's the correct term but he doesn't deserve it) went into a local Bakery where his son was with his Mother he then stabbed the toddler to death. It was one of the most horrific crimes in the local area, it was years ago now but I still remember it I honestly can't understand how anyone can hurt a child or anything that is defenseless I hope this man is locked away for a long time as I believe he will try it again.

    People think I'm crazy because of how much I over protect my child, but I've seen this, children grabbed off the playground, out of shopping carts, etc...my child is always buckled in and if I turn my head to grab someone I'm holding on to her in some way...people are sick and untrustworthy and I'm not trying to let anyone take her...there's far to much trafficking all over the place.

      They grab, go and hand off to another partner in crime waiting in the get away car. We have a ring going on around our town in the Targets and Walmart. They literally tried to pull a toddler out of the buggy while mom was shopping. Another at Walmart, following mom and 5 yr old around Walmart. Two guys covering the exit. Woman following around the store behind them in line at check out. Mom was aware and asked the store manager to accompany her to the car. Guess what. Next to her car was the van with the one guy at the exit and the driver parked next to her car in the frigging parking lot. It always happens around Christmas and 4th of July

      Indeed its an assault....he had not kidnapped the child when he was restrained. We can only interpret it as an attempted kidnapping. However, in the court of law its likely not to stand as it cannot be proved that it was kidnapping.

    He really yanked the child by the head ANGRY 😤 she was looking away and he pulls her backwards by the head and yanks her down by the hair while the mum tries to pull her in, and others too.The shock and pain of all that alone for a child who has zero context to apply to what is happening has to be so traumatising.

      @@maame6768 I did some research and it really just depends. In this case they wouldn’t be able to actually prove kidnapping, but they can prove assault. So they went with what they knew would stick. Depending on any injuries they could charge him with aggravated assault. As far as the length of a sentence- that would require much more info.

      Let's think critically here. No weapon. His bare hands. Running at full speed towards this child, then grabs her by the head. How does this scenario scream child trafficking? He was probably a psychotic criminal, looking to kill that little girl for whatever reason.

      hate to say it, but I agree with Rich. they don't usually send you to do this stuff in broad daylight with no backup plan. that's insane. he's acting insane... which is probably what he is.

      The problem in this case is they can’t charge this person with kidnapping or attempted kidnapping bc there is no actual proof that’s what he was trying to do. You can speculate all day from what we know, but what matters is what can be proven. Assault or aggravated assault would at least stick and go on his record.

    They recognized him. In fact I think he was calling out to the girl bc they all looked in his direction before he's even in view. The little girl NEVER stopped looking in his direction, AND the lady in the blue pants was over across that table protecting the child BEFORE he even fully jumped the fence.
