Under international humanitarian law, aka the laws of war, people have the right to know what happened to their missing relatives. Governments, the military authorities and armed groups have an obligation to give information and help efforts to put families back together.

I remember when I lost my parents I felt like I was having a panic attack
@@ihateyouall7026 It depends, i remember as a child and even recentlt, when i lost my mom it felt like the world stop spinning and i started to panic
@@ihateyouall7026 Both parent and child will be in distress. It's not simply "oh I'm lost!" It's the dread that you are separated from the only people you know in a sea of strangers. It's disorientating to look around and only see faces unfamiliar to you. Running around looking for them and not finding them just adds fuel to the flames of panic.
itsJazz yeah I know. I just think that as a kid there are scarier things than losing my mom.

Luckily there’s a good samaritan and bring him to the guard of the mall to find us. Im just his sister yet I felt like I would breakdown any minute. I couldn’t imagine how my parents felt that time.
I read in one of Reddit public chats a story of one mother. She lost a child in overcrowded mall, as soon as she understood what happened she jumped on a bench there and screamed to people about what happened and how her child was looking. So people were willing to help her, they began to search and soon after that the child was found on another floor of the mall. I think she reacted very well!

My mom was nearly kidnaped when she was around 5. They went to a mall and a couple of elderly just grabbed my mom and tried to go. I'm so glad he's okay ❤ My house cat got out once and I was terrified she was going to get hurt or killed bc I lived near a main road at the time. I already didn't have any sleep and was walking up the road in a daze, expecting but hoping not to see her lying there after being hit. When I tried looking through the graveyard across from where I lived I was internally begging the people at rest there to help me find her. She was gone all day, probably enjoying the sun tbh, and came back that night. She looked freaked out (she's spooked by everything) but she was ok, thankfully. She's curled up next to me rn. For the amount of terror I felt then, I can't imagine what it must be like for a parent losing a child, even temporarily.

“A wife who loses her husband is called a widow. A husband who loses his wife is called a widower. A child who loses their parents is called an orphan. But there’s no name for a parent who loses their kid because there’s no word in this world that can describe the excruciating pain.” - Hi, Bye Mama
Oh myyy you bring back my tears 😭😭

Giselle Rahman the ending was perfect. Made us realize that we can’t always get what we want,, but in the end it was completely understandable :’) if you had a second chance at life why wouldn’t you take it? Cause everything always has a catch:(
@@nat1502 yes, it was completely hinted by the title, hi for first hello with her child again and bye when she must go

I remember getting lost in an Ikea in Edmonton. I literally hid in the bed section for at least 2 hours before an Employee found me and asked me where my parents were.
(Edit) oh, forgot to mention that one reason the employee found me was because there was a kid who say me and I just cat hissed at him.
One time I thought I got lost but turns out my dad was in the other aisle (I was about to cry okay I was like 7)
My brother pushed me into crowds at Disney world when I was younger.. I'm deaf. I was lost. I was afraid of strangers. I cried.. Woman grabbed me. I started to scream for my mom.. I had no idea what woman said. Of course, I'm deaf. Then Cop or Guard talked to me. I tried to run away from them. I was afraid of cop because I thought he would arrest me for reasons. Woman kept to held my arm. I cried panicky. People stared at me. I saw my mom and I hurt woman's hand and I ran to my mom. it was really scary for me..
I once got lost in my backyard. I know. I was an idiot child.
These parents are so scare and don’t know what to do I feel so sad watching this

@Mountain lion I would let it out with my mommy, but I can't seem to find her
This was the most heart-rending video I have ever watched
Literally a nightmare, this made my heart sink
Not knowing what happened to them is even WORSE than losing them.
Exactly. They could be anywhere: being held captive nextdoor or on the other side of the world, they could be dead, they could just be lost and confused, etc. It's painful not knowing where they are.
Yep true they could be kidnapped,or Beaten up Left on the streets Or Exaple you live in America and your child is all on the other side of gozo that would be The worst thing ever And even worse what if you didn't know that she was at gozo :(
Ehh not really edit: I thought the comment said knowing what happend to them is worse than loosing them, sorry

IT HAPPEN TO ME TWICEEEE 👁👄👁
As a single father I totally understood how it feels. Totally.
I lost sight of my son at the park for like 30 seconds and couldn’t find him. I’m telling you i’ve never felt an anxiety like that in my life. Can’t imagine how it feels to lose them for ever.
I’ve “lost” my daughter in the store for 30 seconds. She was just behind a rack of clothes but it’s *sheer terror.* Every minute feels like an eternity. There’s no greater stress of fear in the entire world. I can’t imagine them being lost for hours or even years.
Congratulations for you Ma'am 🙂
I would always go in the rack of clothes when I was a child 😂 It’s a mini fort/castle
@@ydb1523 Same as me i always crawl under them and play hide and seek with my siblings 😂
i lost my mom on the airport i start crying then i find her xD
I swear my wife tried to lose me every time we go shopping together. She somehow managed to find me at the food court after she’s done.

Moments like this make the world seem so big. Your kid could literally be *anywhere*
There should be GPS tag for kids.
SO FREAKING TRUE YOUR A SMART PERSON
Just by watching it gives me anxiety.. Can’t imagine how scary that moment for those parents :(
😥
Me too......FFS
It’s scary for both the child and the parent!!!! So upsetting to watch!!! But it does make me happy that some will get reunited
Ikr
anxiety? 😂
Inexperienced this same heart break and emotional breakdown when I lost my dog. Scariest gut wrenching 30 mins of my life
This was the best campaign and awareness video I've seen...ever
True. Shame that I had ran into a comment calling it propaganda.
