Notice the passer-by enticed by the boy, having a protective body language with his arms folded. The boy imitated him. The adult took the initiative to walk toward the end of the pier, full of cameras and site of a manned booth. The parasailers did the right thing but at a risk for their reputation. Then after police was involved, the investigation, although abundantly rich with witnessing, with video and the quality of the passer-by explanation (a top lawyer himself) led to NOTHING illegal. The result is that the parasailers still could lose their business for what they did getting involved BEYOND the purported protection of a kid. A lie (typical lawyer stuff) about being father or not is not punished by any imaginable law.

My long time judiciary experience and street law practice says that there is more here than do-gooders, old ladies and pater familias characters, can see. The boy and the lawyer had been together long before the parasailers abrupt end. They are seen discussing very quietly on the video. The boy was in the water at the beginning, then got out to speak with the lawyer. His hair is still wet. He may have been interested to extract some material advantage from him or simply proud of finding interest from an obviously calm and educated adult. So "harass" is certainly not the right word to use. "Enticing" may be best describing the action aimed at the adult and performed BY the boy. I would not say that prostitution is his conscious goal but it may have crossed the mind of the boy. It may also very well be that the conspicuously missing mother was pimping her boy.

Even if you havent committed a crime yet, if you are caught trying to kidnap a child, caught using CP etc it should be an instant death sentence. This is the only way to deter these creeps and if it doesn't deter them them then they deserve what is coming. No child should have to have their lives ruined by a groomer. He continued exchanging with the guy while walking toward the end of the pier, not toward a car or a boat. Here the supposed would-be "predator" knows exactly what he is doing. He is a very well-known family lawyer who graduated first of the class in his university. He has a solid law firm in Spokane. His knows his face is perfectly visible and he does not hide. The boy is visibly on a seducing-seduced mode until he decided to reverse to a childish basic behavior, remembering all the "wise" lessons he was fed with at school and at home. @@GLUFSAREN Totally agree! I have five grown kids and have two instances from their childhood where the kids wandered off out of site and we went through some scary minutes. And that mother had obviously taught her kid exactly was to do. Approach a person in uniform and say “I don’t know him. He’s not my father.” Good on her.

Instead of watching carefully the video, of inquiring about what happened before and after, of documenting yourself about the would-be predator, then once in your life THINKING BY YOURSELF, you swallow the bait cork, sinker and hook, by parroting the opinion of the journalist.

Stealing or attempting to steal a human should be a death penalty offense in all states. If you steal a human being, you are just as dangerous a a bear, mountain lion, that gets a taste for human blood. You can never be trusted and noone is safe as long as you live and breathe.

@@easy8690 This video is about a twist of interpretation in facts which are showing a completely different story. The judge who made his decision, just looked at them and saw NOTHING about an attempt to steal a human being. I am not in any way, a liberal and I see this non-event the same way as him. MAGA. As countless naïve humans, you are fooled by the biased medias which NEED to create sensation out of nothing. Their survival is YOUR death.
