My first time in Uzbekistan! Join me on the journey as I explore this mysterious country for me! I know nothing about Uzbekistan, so we are learning and traveling together. Let's go!
Hello my friend ! In Uzbekistan, there are no bad areas, ghettos like in America! There are no Drug Addicts who gather in crowds. Everyone works and raises children. This is our culture and our goal. There are no criminals or thieves. People can peacefully walk at night . Uzbekistan is a very safe country ! Our people are very Friendly and Hospitable!
Hey Marc, I am Zhain from Ouzbekistan. This video is super helpful to new tourists coming to Ouzbekistan. I hope you enjoy the time here Ouzbek, little information for you Ouzbekistan is not islamic country it is a seculat country where you are allowed to do anything unless ( gay, bi, trans people are not allowed to have sexual parade or kissing in front of local people) but it is totally okay being one of those and Ouzbekistan is pretty safe ( the guys that came to you are nout ouzbeks they probably tajik kids who beg for money we call them " lo`li " in ouzbek) you donot have to worry about your stuff but watch you back always kkkkk. And there is not discrimination against others because we are very diverse you can see white , yellow, brown , balcky any kind of humans loll so feel free bro we love you here (little reminder most people dont speak russian but they do understand it is better to know basic words in Ouzbek love from Ouzbek guy)
Hey!!! Thanks for this wealth of information!!! I definitely felt safe in Uzbekistan!! I'll be returning there soon!!:) Appreciate you giving the benefit of your life experience there!!!:) Love you too!!!
As a local, I have visited Samarkand several times and every time I visit Registan Square, especially the 3rd building you visited with gold decorations, I get blown away by its beauty. Truly one of our historical jewels.
That green card lottery!?!? I love Islamic architecture (that wide angle lens need was real, I get that!)... It's beautiful there, the whole city was so clean, green, and peaceful! Also, didn't know you had studied ancient Egypt... Now we have one more thing to discuss! Great video as usual!!
And onto of that, I saw 0 homeless people...They may exist there, but I couldn't see them at all. Just everyone hustling to make money...so similar to Egypt when I visited!! And yes, let's talk! I'm sure there are many things I can learn from you!!!
Nice video You should have really got a tour guy. I was born and raised in Samarkand, and recommend you to go back and revisit with a tour guy. I bet you missed the secret dome with is hidden from people eyes using optical illusion. One of the beautiful designs of the domes is actually a secret dome. Other things that Toir guys know which we don’t also will amaze you.
GOOD DAY, in Uzbek culture we tend to have carpets all around our floor and we leave our shoes at doorstep like we walk barefoot thats why there is carpet everywhere, ty
European scientist did not come bro. One king and at the same time scientist Astronomer Mirzo Ulugbek was depicted in the picture of Europeans where great astronomers were shown
Registan's buildings are similar to other Muslim countries. Especially in hot countries. Because its architecture makes you feel cold and comfortable. And the symbol of madrasa(College, university). In this religion science and study are the best things that you can give humanity that serves even after your life. This is why they're looking like important buildings and are more durable.
if you travel with simple train like not tezyurar train or faster train you can not endure to its weather inside because it runs slow and there is no air conditioner .
Welcome to Uzbekistan, Man the mathematics, astronomy biology and chemistry sciences came from Samarkand (or from Central Asia) to Europe just don’t believe all the resources. That’s why you need guide who can provide you.
12:51 that green card place is right next to a hostel that I stayed at haha! It is legit lol. One of the workers at that hostel is friends with everyone that works there so she introduced me; and everyone was so friendly and explained how Uzbekistan has a huge amount of people wanting to move to America how much they love America etc etc
@@francoismarc3 that place simly helps people to register in DV lottery, they will take a proper photos and make sure to fill out the simple forms for you, and take a small fee for that. Yes locals are interested in moving to the United States. =)
As a resident of Uzbekistan, I must inform you that while it is a Muslim majority country, it is by no means a Strict Muslim country. Being a former Soviet Socialist Republic the government is 100% secular, loud public calls to prayer are not allowed and there is PLENTY of pork since there is a large Russian population from the Soviet days so they eat plenty of pork. You walk into Mirobad market and turn to the left and go to the end there is a Korean run pork store. And actually there are plenty of them here and many restaurants that serve pork. You mentioned that you don't do much research before going to a country and I understand that mindset but when creating content and you speak incorrectly about a place it does a major disservice to the local culture as you are creating an incorrect narrative. Just saying. With this being my 11th country to live in and having visited 50 some I can tell you doing research is important for many reasons and I highly recommend you take that approach as it will give you more credibility. Just saying....
I'd have to strongly disagree because you look around in the influence of the Soviet Union is everywhere. From the Communist era architecture to how the cities were planned out and designed we are from Slovakia and we have the same influence though we were not directly under Soviet rule and the one thing that we are amazed at from living here is how much it is like Slovakia or anywhere else in Central or Eastern Europe.

I did think Uzbekistan was super safe at night. I was not scared at all to walk! I saw many children playing at night in the parks!!

Hahahaha was it a surprise?
I think you should be off hat most of times like most koreans don't wear hats you do at outdoors during the summer lol
I've been to Uzbekistan and rest assured, they don't have "sketchy neighborhoods" like in the US and there are no pickpocketer kids.

It's good that there are few elevators and escalators because it will prevent you from getting fat after eating the delicious and varied food here 😂
