coming back to retail after a very long break, basically fully skipped every expansion after mop. now rolling to pres evoker, because i like that, he is a healer and a dps in one spec... thats remind me for the good old healing sphere spammer mistweaver monk 🤔
Welcome back to wow! Yeah pres evokers are amazing for this, and I used to love MW monks back in the day when it was like that. Are you looking forward to Dragonflight?
Currently they are competing with resto druids for meta in mythic+. I think some players are going to struggle to heal on them and give them a bad reputation early in the expansion, but they should excel with talented players and having a lust opens up non-mage team comps. With melee looking so strong early on that could lift them up. I think they have some fundament design problems by being a medium range class in raids and will struggle for spots in mythic raid teams. I don’t see any reason I’d bring a preservative evoker over most of the other healers, I’d rather just double up on paladin or disc. About the only thing that makes me consider preservation is the power of rewind.
@@brandoncomer6492 That's a really good take, I think the issue Evokers will have especially for maining one class is if Druids are meta in m+ and really good in raids, why not choose that over a prevoker! We will have to see how it pans out. I think the race to world first will heavily influence which healers get picked in the finder tool and in mythic raiding settings.

@Trippytrieye great choice. They are powerhouses. What class have you been for DPS?
