And since Thor and Hulk remain unchanged they're the only ones that really show up in your research. As my personal experience i would say that Spiderman is probably the most popular here in Brazil since we have a lot of memes with him, but in the end all of them end up being very popular. I recommend searching for "carreta furacao".

Nope, it's simply because of science cult and prevalence of polytechnic leaning institutions. Just check out Sci-Fi vs Fantasy and you'd see similar picture with Germany, Sweden, Denmark and Switzerland just joining in. It's a cultural thing. Drew should have checked villains too. I just have to say I am soooo glad I found your channel. Been subbed for like 7-8 months now and geography was my favorite subject in school. I went years and years without thinking about geography and then I bought Civ 6 and started looking up tutorials and whatever and came across your channel.
Best decision I’ve made in a long time. It’s so interesting to see how states and countries differ and seeing how analytics breakdown across the globe is so cool. Seeing how countries like Russia have a completely different point of view when it comes to superheroes just leaves you speculating why they are outliers, just one example.

Us Romanians absolutely LOVE Spiderman and his villains. Spectacular Spiderman and the Sam Raimi movies really hit hard here in Romania. Coupled with a lot of toys, products, other tv shows, games, comics, and the new Tom Holland movies and Romania is firmly in the Spiderman camp. Could you perhaps do the history of Denmark? So I know this doesn't have much to do with this current video - I do however really miss your videos of countries histories. You would learn things such as why there are so many countries in Europe that have the cross flag, and you would learn about which two countries have fought against each other the most etc. It's fairly interesting, considering there are so many memes about Denmark not being a real country :P

some data are not correct for Italy because the titles of the movies sometimes are translated ("suicide squad" is suicide squad in Italian but "Guardians of the galaxy" is "i guardiani della galassia") that's why it just got 4% (min 10:50)
