      I ABSOLUTELY LOVE what the inside looks like !
      The carbon fiber goes so well. Just love it!
      When you guys both were on the boat standing there together. So many emotions, omg...
      Also, the boys have changed so much in such a short time. They are so cute! Lenny spot on with the color....I couldn't wait for him to see it.

    What a moment! I have to say, having worked offshore in the Gulf of Mexico for many years, it was quite bizarre indeed to see Riley and the crew riding the suspended load all the way to the water. That would never happen in the US; things do break, and the risk of a failure is not worth people's lives. Obviously, these guys had massive trust in the crane and rigging, and I'm glad to see everyone and your beautiful boat made it to the water safely!

    • @neilfromclearwaterfl81
      @neilfromclearwaterfl81 Год назад +22

      Bizarre is an understatement! But then again I've been the one that's had to go up and deal with it when things went awry. Couldn't imagine having to also consider other people below me on a suspended load while trying to repair someone else's mistake when they set things up.
      One does have to question Rapido's setting up in a shop with such restricted access to the water where they can't use a more conventional travel lift or ramp for launching.
      Best!

    • @stephengloor8451
      @stephengloor8451 Год назад +26

      Totally agree - could not understand why anybody would risk riding the load like that

    • @bravofighter
      @bravofighter Год назад +20

      Yeah, as an engineering inspector, I was a bit surprised as well, that was something that used to happen quite often, laborers flying with the manhole structures to give hand signals to the crane operator and what-not, but not in perhaps 30 years. I’ve seen things go catastrophic, sometimes it’s just mother nature paying a sudden visit, sometimes it’s a bad strap or cable.

    Watching your home leave the trailer, while being lifted by the crane I could see how close those up right trailer posts were to the main hull as it all started to tilt and sway. That was a heart stopping moment. Those trailer posts have to be hinged and to make them fall away from the hull just prior lifting.

    Wow! I have watched you both from the very beginning and what a journey you have had thus far. It's simply amazing to tag along with you as you grow together as a family and as individuals (personal growth). Loved Darwin's thumbs up! Totally unexpected yet adorable as heck. Riley you were beaming with pride and I really appreciated how tenderly you held Elay when she was finally onboard and expressing her sense of relief. You're a good man.
    Elayna's anxiety at watching the initial lift off was contagious. I couldn't see everything, just her dropping F-bombs so wasn't quite sure what was going on. I will say that I wish all of you on board had been tied off to a separate choker or lanyard of sorts. Had one of those boat supporting slings failed, that would not have been pretty. But all's well that ends well and this Mango Madness launch has certainly ended well and started your next chapter off with a bang! Wishing you happy sailing and good health always, cheers! Rick

    Hi guys, just wanted to write in after watching your channel religiously in chronological order, for about a year. I started over 2 years ago when I was madly in love with a man that I hoped maybe I could make an attempt at a sailing life with, but when that relationship ended abruptly I found myself unable to watch your videos anymore, it felt like the dream had kind of slipped through my fingers for a while. It just reminded me of a future I had imagined that wouldn’t happen anymore. I recently met someone new that shares the same interest in trying out a life at sea, and I dove right back in where I left off 2 years ago. Been watching multiple episodes per day for the last month, and just today landed on this video. I am so proud of you and your accomplishments, and thank you for inspiring so many to lead an unconventional and challenging, yet absolutely enviable and rewarding lifestyle. *note that this time it’s my dream, and if I can’t rely on a partner to start sailing with I’ll find another way!!! 🩷 woohoo La Vagabonde III

    I live north of the equator, some call it south Canada, and my family had a sailboat growing up, so each year when the snow melted, we had the pleasure to put our boat on the lift and drop it into the water. My job was to record the experience to document a potential catastrophe for insurance purposes. This video, with it’s brilliance and emotional reality, brought me back to my …. Deeply contested remembrance haha ! I am so grateful to see you both and your children on this vessel. I wish you a blessed first sail and I hope you enjoy your new home.❤

    MANGO MAGIC !!!😂❤ flew like a great sleek raptor from the past to the future as though through a vibrating green and blue portal to land gracefully upon a new and open expansive wind driven future for great sailing .. fun and adventure upon the
    sparkling jewels amidst the starry seas.😊

    Hold up that boat has no fence around it. Stanchins i belive they call them. Thats a no go for young children. Elana is going to be freaking out she wont feel that her kids are safe and for good reason. Riley fumbled the ball on this no doubt about it.

    That faux wood wall paper is not going to age well. Bit of a jumbled mess design wise. I must say I am looking forward to seeing her under sail.

      They do they off the boat. They’re very hands on so they get to see what only most of us read about with pictures. They don’t miss what they haven’t ever done. I would trade so much to get to grow up just a year as one of their kids..lol

    • @Steve-qn8gn

      @@mama_keikei8081respectfully, you don’t really know what they are doing. They are rarely around kids their own age and while they will be around people once in a while they won’t have the experiences of being around children their own age.

    Greetings from Russia. City of Moscow. It's already snowing here, we are very happy for you and congratulations. Your boat turned out to be amazing. We are looking forward to more issues. I watched the episodes with the video in one breath. The highlight was wonderfully immersed in your history and it was as if I was going through the descent of the boat with you. Good luck to you.
