I am 75 years old and I am ashamed to say I have never heard of the Sea Shepard Organization. I am a great lover of the sea, and credit this to Jacques Cousteau, I love all he taught us about marine life. It’s never too late to learn more, thank you Elayna for bring this message to us. I watch as the numbers go flying along with your giggles so glad You got to go aboard the Sea Shepard they've made an awareness in Canada over our whale, seal, poor Tilkim, poor Luma, and how Whales are caught up in fish nets then die along Canadian beaches, so glad you were able to do a trip and thank you for the awareness about the Octopus. The Boys know the Mother they have, be proud of yourself, you've done well!

I also loved the fun times, a girls trip is what we all need sometimes and this was a ripper. My Octopus Teacher is an outstanding film!! Probably one of the best, most moving films I’ve ever seen. I never thought I would bawl my eyes out over an octopus, but boy did I. Exquisite film and story.
Elayna it's really cool that your friends with Fran & Jack. I'm into their adventures, and I support them whole heartly. Octopus are neat creatures, and they have a intelligence level thats unreal. Talk about escape artist, and camo wearing sea creatures. They are one of my most fav sea animals. Thanks for sharing this video on the ongoing saving of the Octopus.

As a mom, I approve of mom getaways!! I think its really important to get away and reset. Not that we want to get away, but sometimes it is just needed. I'm in the process of weaning my almost 2.5 year old and Ive come to the realization that I am just going to have to go away for a few days to see if that helps. My mama heart worries to death, but Ive heard my boy does fine on the short times away.

As a new mom of a now 1.5 year old it brings me joy to see you get time for yourself! There is all this guilt on moms to always be with their babies, but everyone needs a moment to breathe.
