@@dhruboshahriar3959 yes it is, I got results only by two weeks
Firstly it made some redness and pealings but I think it's because I used lit bit more amount
I only using it at night
First wash face with your foaming cleanser (because you have acne) then use moisturizer
And then apply thin amount of it
Not much with near eye or mouth area but lil more in acne area
I used like he said only pear size amount
Then literary I got more effective results
I only using it only night before the bed
and during day time after using your cleanser use vitamin C and E 20% serum
It will help reduce marks and dark shades on your face
Now my face getting really healthy only using by one month
And I still using adaplene gel because he said it's okay to use it long term 😊💜💜💜💜

I use Tretinion gel instead. started off 3 days a week for a month, 4 days a week for following month, then slowly increasing the number of days by each month. Fast forward 5 months later, my skin is actually starting to glow. Though there are occasional mild breakout on chin, it went away in few days as opposed to weeks i used to have.
What product i use is full set of eucerin pro acne range in companion with tretinoin gel.
Morning: cleanser, toner, moisturiser, then sunscreen spf 50 for the entire face.
Night routine: Cleanser , toner, moisturiser, then T gel as final step. Sometimes i put benzyl peroxide on some inflammed acne.
Also, your diet also plays a major role in skin care.

I have oily/acne-prone skin and started out with mild-moderate adult acne, I occasionally got painful cystic acne as well. Luckily, I had minimal purging when I first started Differin, acne became slightly worse for a few weeks, but I saw improvements at around 6 weeks and my skin was less oily. That was 10 years ago when I was in my 20s…I’ve been using it on and off since. Nowadays I alternate it with Tretinoin 0.05% cream, and my skin looks great. I still get hormonal PMS acne around my chin, but they clear up quickly without leaving behind scars. I will never stop Differin or Tretinoin. Please stay away from the sun if you use those products, or you’ll just be making things worse! If you will be in the sun, use a good sunscreen, an oil-free, non-comedogenic one with spf30 (atleast), the sunscreen I use is also by Differin, they make a good one for oily/acne-prone skin, Cetaphil is another brand that has a good non-comedogenic sunscreen for oily/acne-prone skin.

Instead of using it for years ahead as it will cause no harm, is there a specific time or period that we need to use it after our skin has cleared up to avoid the sudden breakout again. For me it is quite expensive, if I can cut it and just stick to a super basic cleanser-moisturizer-sunscreen routine would be the best.
I genuinely hope for an answer🙏🏻 Thank you so much btw for the informative video

For the purging, i think it will depend per person, but for me, it was really bad, and it lasted quite some time. You would really need to mentally prepare yourself for it before starting Differin so when you purge, it's already expected. When the purging was over tho, it's really worth it. It's been 6 months since my acne subsided, and I swear I rarely have pimples now. I am still working on the scars and hyperpigmentations, but focusing on them became easier since I no longer need to worry about the acne. Oh, and I am still using Differin. It has to be a continued usage even when there are no longer any acne to keep the skin clear. 😄

@@ahmet6144 Its going really good now! In the beginning I made the mistake of doing too much all at once: SPF moisturizer and benzoyl peroxide in the morning and a niacinamide moisturizer and differin at night. I basically just cut out the benzoyl and let the Differin be my only active. I also went wayyyy too hard with the Differin and I was using too much, this caused sensitivity and peeling. You really do only need a pea size for your whole face. I found that using less product and also applying my moisturizer first and then the Differin on top, really decreased the sensitivity, so definitely try that. I had a 6 week purge though, and that's what almost made me give up altogether. Since using Differin, my breakouts have decreased by 95%..not kidding. Occasionally I get 1 or 2 pimples, which is NOTHING compared to before when there was never a time I didn't have pimples on my face😫. Also, the length of time in which my "breakout" lasts has been cut in half. Lengthy response lol but I really want you to keep going because it gets so much better!

I have been using adapalene for around 2 months now. I've noticed that I have an increase in clogged pores alongside the acne. I understand that skin purging is normal, but does this include an increase in clogged pores? Does anybody know?

I've been using adapalene for 7 months already. During earlier months, it really helps reduce and control my acne productions. But i stopped using it for 1 month bcz i dont have stock and become lazy to use it. And also at the same time, i stopped using my marykay clearproof cleanser bcz i dont hv stock lol. Hahha i become lazy to take care of my skin hhaha. And as a result, i have breakout. Then i continue using adapalene again. But this time, i have to deal with the purging. I think for 2 months. But i didnt stop. I just continue using it and started again using my marykay cleanser. Right now, my skin is okay. No more acne. But right now im dealing with red and black acne scars. Idk how to get rid of them.

AHA is a good ingredient for improving skin discolouration. You might want to add it into your morning routine and most importantly, follow with a sunscreen daily.

Is it less irritating than tretinoin
    Is it good for pigmentation
I am confused between these two

    • @taylobiz6217
      @taylobiz6217 3 года назад +2

Tretinoin is stronger than Adapalene (differin). So it can be less irritating. Both forms of Vitamin A (retinols) can help with pigmentation.
