I had a fungal acne on my forehead and side face for long period of time , i thought they were as normal acne and i spent money on cleansers without any benefits so i went to dermatologist and he said “do you have dandruff “i said yes and i was using hair products and he said i should stop using them and he gave me a solution to wipe the area which has the acne to minimize the inflammation .To be honest I got rid of them in 2 week, since i was suffering of them for 2 years.
@@stephanienicolegeronimo2132 just don’t use hair products which can cause more inflammation. To reduce the inflammation he gave me a topical solution called (LINDACIN)
Thank you, thank you, thank you, my husband suffered from a terrible itchy rash for months. All my tricks slowly lessened the rash. He would go for a run and BAM, it's back. I saw your video and the missing pieces of the puzzle clicked into place. I immediately purchased Nirozal after I saw your video. He used it for a week as a shampoo and body wash. We pre-soaked his workout clothes in laundry sanitizer. The rash is gone! His scratches are healing. You made a huge difference in our lives. Thanks for all your education.
I would like to add that I have fungal acne and it only started flaring after wearing masks during Covid. So I know people say it’s mostly on the forehead but I think it’s more common to see it on the jaw and cheeks because of mask wearing.
Oh wow, THANK YOU! I get the occasional breakouts, specifically painful cystic acne on my chin, and so have been using clindamycin benzoyl peroxide gel since the pandemic with all my mask wearing made it worse. Well this month I started getting breakouts at my hair line and I couldn’t figure out why it hasn’t been healing since the acne wasn’t cystic or painful but kept persisting. Well, I had 2 back to back sinus infections I had to take oral antibiotics for during the last month and a half and this makes total sense now that I had a fungal breakout I’ve never had before! I’m excited to try the sulfur mask and see how it improves everything THANK YOU SO MUCH!!
I was spending tons of money for years to just find out now that my acne was fungal... And with my depression I haven’t been washing my face or hair much recently and it’s basically gone... So it’s probably my well water since that’s the only consistent thing over these past few years … great…
This was so helpful. I’ve been struggling with bumps on my forehead. I live in a high humidity climate and I swear that is part of the problem. I just bought disposable face clothes to use rather than wash clothes because I think that is harboring bacteria/fungus. My daughter had told me about head and shoulders and that did help some but never fully resolved it. I’m going to try the A-D shampoo you mentioned.
I came here because my scalp acne, for years, has been resistant to normal acne treatments like salicylic acid and tea tree shampoo. I just tonight bought iodine to see if it helps. Ask me if it worked
@@tsikinite yes it was decolorized iodine and it worked. I also had an iodine deficiency reported from a hair strand test that I was trying to address. It worked. Not sure if it was fungus related but yeah it worked
😥 I almost got the sulfur mask, until I read all the other ingredients. Not putting parabens on my face. Looks like I’ll have to make my own sulfur blend. Thank you for all the information
Thank you, I was suspecting that my heavy use of hair products was causing the acne on my forehead and this just confirmed it. I have type 4 hair so you can imagine how many products I use💀 but thanks so much for this! Need to find a good clarifying anti dandruff shampoo!
I saw a short with Dr. Idriss on this (she didn't necessarily say acne) but she did mention benzoyl peroxide (panoxyl), leave on 5 minutes, a couple times a week.
Our 9 yo seems to have both vulgaris and fungal Differin was working for vulgaris but after swimming there seems to be fungal as well Differin can continue while also treating fungal with shampoo and sulfur yes?
Can you do something on rosacea. I’m turning 40 this year and suddenly my skin is red and I have random breakouts on the tip of my nose forehead and one cheek. 😭😭 worse than my teenage acne.
I was watching this, hoping I could get an answer for what’s on my legs. I have small blisters that started at my ankle now they have primed up onto my thigh on the outside of my thigh nothing on the inside of my thigh on the right leg.on the left leg there were blisters but they’re gone but the skin is horribly bumpy and nasty looking. I don’t know what to do. The doctors prescribed a steroid cream to be put on my right leg and I do not see it helping.
I'm confused if I have fungal acne or closed comedones. Because I have tried salicylic acid based products and accutane but it didn't help a bit. But after taking antibiotics suggested by doctor my acne became worse. And in my country the weather is very hot. But my bumps doesn't itch much i mean it frequently does and it looks like skin colour. And also my bumps are on my cheeks and around my mouth . So do i have fungal acne or closed comedones?
@@amritabasu2269 currently I'm using a ketoconazole 1% soap it is basically used for fungal acne. I've been using the soap for 2days and I can see the bumps are kinda shrinking up. I'll update if it worked or not
Thank you, I think my 9 year old has this along with regular pimples on her face. Can you do a video for the young ones with something gentle and safe for them to use?
I think you may have saved my daughter’s skin with this one. Her forehead and the itchiness is giving all the signs of fungal.
did she try anything & if so what did she use ? my forehead broke out out of nowhere 😢
Did the recommendations help?

Excellent! I've never heard such a clear and concise explanation of the differences in acne before. So helpful, thank you!

What sunscreen and moisturizer would you recommend for someone who has fungal acne since you have to avoid oils ???
I have really itchy skin and don't get much normal acne. I was wondering why my skin is always itchy.
What about if you have eczema and malesezzia folliculitus? How to treat both?
