Super clear and saved me when I couldn’t follow the manual. Thank you so much!
Thanks a lot ! It helped me with setting up my dishwasher. I highly recommend to watch this video.
You're welcome!
Great instructions. Very easy to follow. Thank you.
Simon looks like the Pat Sayjack from Wheel of Fortune
Thanks for the video. was wondering where to mount the box, not thinking of the other side of cabinet wall. Do have one question, in a 70's vintage house with aluminum wires, can the supply cord be connected directly within the box, or is it copper only? If copper only, us the purple AlumniConn adapter and 6" pigtails of 12 guage wire enclosed within the box as appears to be room?
After thinking it through and answering my own question. To avoid jamming up the wires in the Bosch junction box, with all the space on the cabinet wall, mount an additional compact junction box from Home Depot. Aluminum in and copper out with short length to the Bosch box for normal copper connection as shown in the video. Inside the other box, three two wire purple AlumniConn connectors for the black to black and white to white and ground wires.
Thank you Thank you - explained exactly what I needed to do... VERY CLEAR !!!
I know Im randomly asking but does any of you know a method to get back into an Instagram account?
I was dumb lost my password. I appreciate any tricks you can give me.
@Edison Anthony instablaster :)
Great job guy! Don't listen to some of these complaints!
Thank you. If there is anything we can help you with in the future please let us know.
Is this NEC coded for USA in 2021? It is plastic, so just wondering
Super helpful! Thank you for creating this content.
I used the 3 prong plug that came with it. Cycles hung after a few minutes? Lowe's said it was a European model that requires hardwiring? I installed this special junction box and it's only just started but appears to be working? That makes no sense
How long is the wire that goes to the dishwasher from the junction box?
Thank you so much! This made it super clear.
You guys are #1
How do you install this junction box on the front under the dishwasher?
They do not address where to put the junction box. For such an expensive dishwasher it should come with built-in junction box for hard wiring.
@@walkgood4092 I believe that box should be metal and not plastic. Do Bosch dishwashers have the wires in a box like other dishwashers?
@@synthesizerisking2886 I've only had one Bosch. No junction box built in for hardwire.
@@walkgood4092 he instructed to put in under the sink on the sidewall near the dishwasher, do not put it in the stall where the dishwasher will sit in! The wire from wall will attach to the box, the other part from the box will plug into the Bosch dishwasher….
You don’t, it will be installed under the sink on the side wall. You will have to drill hole to run the wires through. I think Bosch has a wall plug but he showed how to attach that circuit wire to the box then run the plug adapter wire back to the dishwasher, although he never showed the Bosch electric plug to plug into that adapter he attached to the dishwasher. And his drainage hose was filthy and old! The box I am sure should be metal if sitting outside the wall exposed!🙄😵💫😳
Great job! thanks
What size strain relief?
3/8”, took me two trips to the store to get it right, lol
@@PScooter63 thanks!!
Thank you!
Why doesn’t the romex cable need protection?
Is it safe to put the junction box in the same cabinet as the dishwasher?
electrical code for my are requires that all junction boxes be easily accessible, so NO.
Don’t cut the romex to fit. You might need the length in the future for an outlet or different dishwasher.
Why can’t they make a junction box with an end where you can plug it in an outlet instead of wiring everything together yourself.
because you could just use the normal cable that the dishwasher comes with...
Hell a video...Great job!
This stupid design is going to cost me $208 to have it replaced. The black or hot wire melted on both sides. Is there still a problem that caused that short in the 1st place or was it that stupid box?
Worst possible angle at the 5:29 part…
Why is that drainage hose so scumy and dirty?😹😹😹
Don't these, all catch on fire?
If it isn't installed correctly or if it is damaged then yes it could catch on fire, but it shouldn't just catch on fire for no reason.
@@appliancepartspros There are three wires, colour coded. How would this be installed incorrectly?
Just suggesting ideas of what could be causing the issue. It could be possible that the part you got isn't the correct one for your model? Can we have your model number and can verify what part you would be needing?
@@appliancepartspros I don't need the part. Just want people to be well aware of the serious issues this unit can possibly cause. Bosch needs to address this issue.
Sorry I misunderstood you. I thought that you were needing the part. Thank you for your information!
some of the pronunciation with accent is unclear.
What size strain relief?
What is your model number?
