My fav skillet song hands down. I don't think that there is a more earnest and passionate love song than this and it hits so hard and feels so powerful.

Comatose is probably one of my favorite albums by them. It’s one of their more emotional albums and it’s soooo good. And I’m pretty sure this is the album before Jen joined so the female singer was actually Korey

Can’t wait til you do “Comatose”! One of the best hooks ever!

The Last Night is a really good song both musically and lyrically. Musically the piano and strings mixed in with the guitars and drums is done really well as is the mixup with Korey* singing from the perspective of someone who's just ready to end it all and take their life with Jon (as someone close) trying to pull them back from the brink of death. If you thought the album performance was good you should check out the live performance of it as it features an extended ending that's really good.
If you're looking for other bands to react to then check out Falling Up, an experimental band where every song starting with their Fangs album tells a continuous story. A good starting song I'd say us Flora from their final album. After that I'd recommend Escalates, Hydro, In The Woodshop, Symmetry, Murexa, Moonlit, Broken Heart, Goodnight Gravity, Golden Arrows and Hotel Aquarium.
*As already mentioned Korey is the one singing on this album (most prominent in this song, Falling Inside The Black and Rebirthing). Jen didn't join until the next album Comatose Comes Alive.

Yessss!! Finally another reaction out there to this song! My favorite by them. Hopefully you’ll get other people started in reacting to it. I did request this in a comment awhile back so thank you🙏🏼
I highly recommend “The Resistance” next. You’ll love the ending to that song. If you want to hear some heavier stuff check out “Savior” and “Fingernails” from the Collide album. Still their heaviest to date

Also, this song came out before Jen joined the band. The female singing here is actually John's wife. :)

2:56 There's a small guitar solo in the background hidden in the mix

This song is beautiful. It shows the story of someone who wants to commit suicide, and in their final moments praying to God, God lets them know it's the last night in their life they won't feel alone, if they'll only embrace the form of love God can give them.... Amazing stuff.

Oof, I've always loved this song. Really pretty. If you're thinking of reacting to these guys in the future, I'd recommend checking out the live version of their song My Obsession from the Comatose Comes Alive show. It's a bit of a deep cut, so I'm not sure it'll ever get featured on your channel, but it's worth a look even if you just listen to it on your own time.
