The more I listen to this song, the more I realize the drum change between lyrics and chorus change, I love the bass guitar ripping like that. I was not expecting that early on! I think John uses a 5 string bass guitar and it definitely resonates in this song.
One of their heavier songs in awhile. Just keeps growing on me the more I listen to it. Hopefully it’s a sign of things to come on the new album. Love the reaction and pointing out all the different little things they do that just fit together. Would love to see you react to “I Want to Live”. Lots of good stuff musically in that one.
