The Smithsonian museum called they would like their drill back!
But seriously that is some fine craftsmanship there. Well done.

Good tool to have in the arsenal. I have the Flange Off tool for the outside pipe 3” flanges. I normally just chip but this looks like it could be used for the flanges that are really close to the hubs.

Definitely 👍 I’ll have to check out the Flangs Off tool you referenced. I’m always looking for tools to make the job easier.

Is the low speed the secret for doing the job properly ? Saw multiple people having trouble reaming pipes (obviously diy-ers no pros)

Is this a go-to method when the flange is cemented to the drain line? I noticed mine is that white liquid material bonding the two together

So you can do this or what people usually do .. put notches in it and chip it out

Us master toilet mechanics love our Milwaukee Malarkey Master gloves.

any reason you prefer the all pvc flange to the one with the metal rim?

makes sense lol. We carry both on our trucks, but Ive heard a few of the old head plumbers express an aversion to them- of course with no particular reason given.

It’s a Milwaukee right angle drill. Likely corded. Every plumber and electrician has one for drilling through plates to run pipe and wire.

Good video until you glued the new flange down without anchoring to the floor, you will be back doing it again.
