I'm glad to see a woman's view on this Roadster. There aren't many women out there doing this and I wonder why since always hearing people referring to the Miata as a woman's car. My 1st MX-5 was when the ND came out in 2015. Since, I've had a '17, '19 and presently on my 2nd '23 MX-5, the 1st was totaled, a woman hit me going 55 mph, I was crossing on a green light when that happened. That Platinum Quartz w/Terracotta Napa Leather seats is a hard find. It took over a month to find another one, but they found one for me. I truly believe, if I were in an American made car, I would have been dead now. They say I spun around 3 times before the car stopped spinning. Even having a difficult time getting in and out of the new one, I still take it on, at least 2 drives a day. Here in South Carolina, I get to keep the top down most of the year and all my MX-5's have been rag-tops. As a young man, I owned MGB's, a '64 and a '66. However, I've driven XKE's of those years, Austin Healey 3000's and Triumph's but the MX-5 gives me a little bit of all those Sportscars put together, depending on the roads I happen to be driving on. Presently, it's pouring down outside so I won't be driving it this morning, not that I'm afraid driving in the rain, I just won't be able, yet, to give it a good washing and waxing due to my injuries from the crash. I will not drive a dirty MX-5. I have a new Hyundai SUV, automatic and all the rest of the boring ass junk that comes with it. That one isn't a problem keeping clean, I take it through the carwash. I'll never let them wash my MX-5!!!! I thank you for a woman's view on these sportscars. By the way, the mountains are only an hour and a half away from me, so I do get a lot of twisties to ramble thru. Ciao for now, Connie.

Lovely video, may I ask, how tall are you? I've always had thought of the miata not being accommodate enough for people on the shorter end of the spectrum. Do you have no issues with pedal reach and visibility?
@@xoconniepeters Thank you so much I was a bit worried, I'm a bit of a short person myself. I can only go on memory from when I stepped inside a show room 2018 RF model and I seemed to have no issues. Few years later, when I was finally ready to buy my miata, I had to practically blind buy it. Since my Mazda dealer doesn't bring in any Miata unless someone has already made a special order to purchases one. Anyways I ordered my car back in late January, waiting patiently for it to arrive in a few months time.
+1 .. Subscribed. 'd like to see how this goes, the '23 Mazda MX-5 RF 5sp manual. . Here at 8,200ft elevation (less Oxygen), the MX-5s engine's output is reduced by -20-25% .. Test drove a new Miata a decade or so back in Denver at 5,280ft and just couldn't pull the trigger. . Even our '98 Carrera C2S is way off its spirit .. Damn thin air at a higher elevation. . With the present-day MX-5s increased engine output it is time to revisit a sports car I've always admired. .. Cheers, Vail, Colorado
I like your white dress but most white dresses are seen though but it is really nice to wear a nice hot day because the white is a cool color to wear when it is too hot in the summer

I'm 5'1" and fit perfectly in this car. I would say it's not made for tall people. :)

It’s too expensive just for looks lol. 2023 and still has a non digital dash, very small screen, and weak front light lumens.
Why doesn't Mazda paint Miatas in living colors? This is supposed to be a fun car.
