I 100% agree with the inception take. Like I’ve watched interstellar 9 times and like it only took Oppenheimer to top interstellar but then my inception rewatches it’s been going down in my Nolan ranking, still love it though.

I don’t think it would ever happen, but I would love to see X-Men, 97 and with House of M . And that would give an explanation as to where the X-Men have been in the MCU since 97.

I am much older than you guys but please take a look at 81, 84, & 86. These were good years for movies.
I think if the season ends with Genosha being wiped out the best way to convey that to the audience is to have them witness Leech being killed by a sentinel. Then at the beginning of season 2 move on to krakoa and begin the season with the resurrection of Leech by The Five.

2007: spiderman 3. Ghost Rider.FF 2. Shrek 3. Great Debaters. Evan Almighty. Pirates of the Caribbean at worlds end. Transformers. These were hits in my eyes except for FF 2.

No need for an inferno story in live action, plus there are more story lines then we could ever have live action movies. The animated series alone has 3 more season they could tell at least.

I think X-Men 97 is proving that animation may be the best medium for superhero story telling. There is so many aspects they can pull off in animation that live action SFX either cost so much to do or won't come off believable. And we still care about these animated characters and feel the emotional journey so well. Just my opinion.

For real on the movie years? 2008, and 2003, 2004 are boss years. Also, I’m going to say it, when you look at the full spread, 2021 to 2023 actually have a lot of bangers, especially the last two years. 2023 was one of the strongest years for animation in particular in a loooong time, though a week year for superhero blockbusters.
