Great video again! Love seeing makers/ designers being transparent and honest! Shows they are passionate about the product they are selling, not just the bottom line! 👍 Thank you for sharing, brother! 👊
Thanks so much for doing that video. I know Sean will appreciate everything you did. The more I get to know Sean Hassan the more I want to support all that he does. All of Tepe's designs are fantastic, but I love them even more knowing they come from an awesome guy like Sean Hassan!!!
THAT KIND OF HONESTY, IT IS SOMETHING TO BE APPRECIATED, FOR SURE. ANOTHER GREAT VIDEO MY FRIEND, ..GREAT, OBVIOUSLY USEFUL AND THUS MUCH APPRECIATED CONTENT. "ROCK ON"🤟✌
Lmao I would pay to see footage of you following Steve around with a camera😁 “Seeing things” is one of my favs too man, and really enjoyed the soundtrack, as you well know:) That was really nice to see the response from Sean from Tepe designs... it’s nice to see some of these companies standing behind their products, and the community👍 Great stuff as always Kurt👊
Love your work Kurt and hope to send you a bundle of Spyderco sprints and exclusives one of these days. Shake your money maker was actually the first album I ever owned, I got the album and a boombox for my 5th birthday in '91...needless to say this may be my favorite video of yours!!
That's awesome that Shaun said to post it! Transparency is a great way to do business! Awesome test's! Thanks for sharing!! Wanna sell that xhp manix??🤣🤣🙈
It really was! He didn't have to do that, but he wants to be completely transparent with the community. That's awesome! That XHP Manix is pretty pricey! 😜
The Nimrod runs between $180 and $200 depending on handle materials. I've been thinking of grabbing the micarta one, but Italian M390 has kept me away so far. It's a shame, because they make some really good knives aside from their heat treats. I'm a Manix fan myself, and I sometimes regret selling that 4V one, but at least I know it went to a good deserving home, lol. I'm glad you are enjoying it brother. The only reason I didn't like it is the way they did the hollow grind. I love a well done hollow grind, but they way they did it with a low grind and high flats, just didn't cut as well as I would like. It is absolutely beautiful though, and that's the only reason I regret selling it.That's great about Sean and Justin..makers who are both transparent, and interested in being better, are the ones I appreciate most. Makers like Tepe, Tuya, and Hogue have garnered my respect because of their desire to improve, and be transparent about any issues that may be uncovered.
I agree. That Nimrod is a great knife. It tested the same as the Hornet ll, but if I contacted Maserin about it, they wouldn't care. Sean is not only accessable to anyone, he cares about his customers. Guys like him and Dave Warren and some others, really deserve our business. That 4V Manix is big part of my permanent collection! 😁 Anytime ya want to see it, just come on over! Beers are always cold here! 😉
@@jcoolG192 LOL...if I ever find myself in your neck of the woods, I just might take you up on that! Like I said, at least I know it went to a good and worthy home..it makes the missing it a little easier to swallow. I couldn't think of a more deserving home for it brother.
Super Steel Steeve had a Nimrod that did upwards of 400 cuts for working edge. Unfortunately HRC was not tested. I commented on his video but the knife was back with the owner by then.
Thanks Kurt. You rascal! My guess on that "Maxam" knife, was 52. You had me sitting here with my mouth wide open, for a bit! : - ) #manix2 for the Win!
Man that's a little bit of a bummer on the hornet 2.0 especially for what I paid but still love it .I know I'm a pest but any luck with my twosun ts21 in s35vn ? I'm dieing to know if it's legit. Another great video cool tunes 👊👊
Thanks Tony! You're not a pest! Trying to get them done, but I have to wait until she gets a chance. I'll pester her a lil though! 😉 That Hornet ll is a beautiful knife! I can only say this one is a little low. Your's might be good. Sean was definitely concerned and he is one of us! A knife guy! I have not doubt he will deal with it. I can test yours if you like.

Good video brother. Maserin Nimrod is $159 so not a real expensive knife. Disappointed in the HRC tho.... Otherwise I really like it.
