GIVEAWAY CLOSED, Congratulations Courtney Harris, Kimberly Milburn and Spencer Ford for winning the T2 giveaway! Please check your email.
Thanks to any who took part.
This video gives a very good explanation for the differences between throw and flood! I'll have to show it to my friends who aren't flashlight nerds like me!
For most practical and EDC purposes, a more floody light is generally the way to go, at least for me. For hiking and camping, a decent thrower would certainly come in handy. Thanks for the video 👍
I'm always wanting flood, I dislike throwers. T2 looks excellent!
For outdoor activities and EDC, small floodlights are essential. AA flashlights with high versatility are good. If you need to look further, it's better to choose a slightly larger throwlight. 18650, 21700 and 26650 battery lights are appropriate.
Thrunite has never let me down! I absolutely love their products and I haven't had a single issue with any of their lights I own.
Scary Holiday giveaway.! Yep I'm in thank you again.
Still pleased with my ThruNITE purchases.
Going to holiday gift several of your awesome lights for Christmas.
Hey thank you also for having Amazon sell your products.
Todd
Flashlight tech has certainly come a long way!
I think that many flashlight enthusiasts carry both types at the same time :D thanks for this video.
Thank you for this informative video! Even if a floody flashlight in most cases is the are the practical use choice, I most admit that I'm a little of a thrower fan. My choice of this four flashlights wold definitely be the Thrunite TN42 V2!
That was a great explanation and video especially done in the rain so you can see the beam of light being projected.
Ahhhhhhhhhhh
As non English speaker, I never understand the term "flood" and "trow" I never knew that was a thing lol
Thank you for the explanation!
Flood is more useful in most occasion but throw is the real fun :)
I have a Ti3 V2 (the tiny thing) and for how tiny it is its surprisingly good! (and it survived multiple washing/drying cycle...)
For a walk in the forest at night, I love a good flood light. It will clearly light the surrounding area in a smooth area of light. A thrower just gives a small spot of light bouncing around with every step that you take.
Disorienting. Funny how people say they want throwers when out in the woods. Unless you're there searching for something a flood is best.
I just started my flashlight journey as I now live in deep woods. My first two purchases have been throwers and it feels like a horror movie. Flood all the way!
@@polylight Consider getting the Cyansky HS6R headlamp for walking in the forest. It has a flood light to light the surrounding area and a thrower to light the distant path. It has a very pleasant light.
Drawbacks are that it just has one 18650 battery and does not have the light output of a big handheld flood light. But for a headlamp the HS6R still has a great light output.
@@Aranimda Thanks, I will check that out.
I had a T1 before my brother took it. He said it's been awesome for fishing. Now I need more Thrunites.
I prefer flood, the T2 looks like a great light!
I believe that the T2 would be a great addition to my ThruNite collection.
For me, I like to go camping and personally prefer a throwing light but the flood is great for most places. The T2 looks like another great light.
Thanks for the explanation between the two types of light projection from flashlights.
Nice explanation to those who are curious. Love my Thrunites esp my T1!
Throw is fantastic, but usually I using flood more. Great products!
That T2 checks all the boxes for me. Thanks for the video and the giveaway.
I never knew the T2 was a flooder, that is super cool! :) I'll have to get one someday.
Great demonstration and explanation!
Love ThruNite products. I've been using my Catapult V5 for 4 years solid. If another similar product came up, I'd be on the purchase list right away. Impressive product!
Very good and practical for any situation
I’m always searching for a good flash and definitely like the T2 and T3
This company did a great job in choosing you to explain. Thanks for the information. I have chosen two Thrunites because of your explanations.
Loving Thrunite! Great video. Thanks again!!
Thanks for the explanation and demonstration of throw/flood
For me, a floody just seems to work better for most things.
Thanks so much for this explanation!
Great demonstration on the differences 👍👍
Very interesting video. I never knew of Throw vs. Flood, now I do! Thank You...
I definitely need one of these, just for everyday use and another for my vehicle.
I enjoy both, Thrunite never disappoints
Love your products, keep em coming
Thanks! I learned something new today!
Thanks for the explanation. I don't really have a need for a dedicated thrower, but it was very interesting.
I've got a Thrunite that I use all the time and it's never let me down ‼️
Great demo!
Just got ourselves a small camper and we need these. Love to see around me for night walks.
We love our Thrunite T1. Quality products at reasonable prices.
u.s. marine vet here 93' to 97' active , would love to add these great lights to my collection indeed 10000% cool ! , keep em coming , will always support ya > tom !
Thanks for the comparison of the two styles. I like my t2, but didn't realize that it is a flood light. I'll have to check that out.
looks like a very practical device we can all use
Good info on Flood vs Throw.
Great video and descriptions !
Awesome content, very helpful reviews and great products
Yeah the throw looks like a good fit for my use
I have a couple of the T1’s. I’d love to try the T2.
Great explanation as usual. I need to nice compact area flood light to my ecd.
The TT20 that I own is my favorite flashlight. I wouldn't mind adding the T2 to the collection.
Thx for the intel. Have a great day!
Very informative thanks for the information
Are you running the seeker 3 pro in turbo in these tests? It looks very week in the videos. My seeker 3 pro lights up an entire field.
Great video as always.
I tend to use the flood more than the thrower but both have there uses ! Love my th30v2 headlamp.
Nice lots of information Thanks
Great explanation of throw vs flood. I tend to keep both in my farm truck as you never know what you're going to be dealing with that night. Always looking for a good combo light.
This was a great explanation. Would love to have one. I watch several RUclips channels that share your products. Thank you so much.
T2 is another cool light from ThruNite!
is there a good combo flashlight with thrower and flood?
Quality video as always
Thanks for the video.
The Thrunite T3 would have been a good example to show a pretty good combination of both flood and throw. I have had the T3 for a few weeks now and really like it, though I think the T2 would be a great light for EDC as well.
thats quite informative , didnt know the differences. some tough choices here.
I like all the lights!!!
I have both the T1 and T2 and they get heavy, daily use. They have been dropped and scratched up, been in the pool and used as a nightlight in my daughter's room each night. I have never had any issues with Thrunites and they offer amazing quality and performance for the money.
Thank you for the video :)
wow very impressive video and loved the close ups shows how powerful these lights are thanks for the educational display thrunite
Throws are great. I don't use it as often as a flood but they are nice to have.
Great flashlights 🔦
Amazing products, thanks for the chance and keep on the nice job :)
Throw lights are fun but find flooders a lot more practical most times.
Thanks for the educational video. We are in the market for a good throw light.
Interesting video, I still have an old 6 cell Maglite with adjustable beam.
I love my Thrunite and would love to get another one. Maybe one with more throw.
Excellent explanation good video. Really cool flashlights. 😎
Flood is ideal for me for carrying for work, I don’t want a hot spot when I’m lighting up something to inspect or work on. Throw is great for night spotting in fields/long trails.
Most of the times a flood flashlight is going to be more useful, but I have to admit the throw lights are very fun
Very interesting 👌, will share!
Good information great video
very informative
Thank you
I like a mix of both, always looking for that perfect mix of the two... I do use the TN20 in the truck as my throwing light.. But dies have a bit of spill... Maybe I'll get a light with a tight beam at some point.. was looking at the mini catapult I think it was called.. I honestly just like the size😎👍... anyways thanks for the video was very educational please keep up the good work👍💯
Very interesting. I would rarely require a flood light. Throw for me.
For my daily use I have floody torch while for herping I like to use lights are good mix of flood and throw while if I am out on open grasslands looking for animals at distance its thrower lights that are in my bag.
I think flood are best for headlights, although some amount of throw could be useful for them.
That's right. I have both Thrunite's 18650 headlamps. The floody is good for walking but for cycling more through is desireable, so the throwy model is great for that.
I personally find a flood style flashlight more usefull for me. But i can see the benefits of a thrower and will now more than likely be purchasing a thrower aswell. I love the size and form factor of the t2 so would love the chance to have one.
Need all the lights!
I have all of the seeker 2 & 3 lights, I feel like you did not have the seeker3 light on turbo in your demo.
Thanks
Thrunite is my favorite flashlight brand, and I have both throwers and flooders. I have the two 18650 headlamps in each type as well.
When it comes to useage I consider a thrower is more useful than a flooder. Because of the spill it can be used even at short range(even if the intense hotspot may be annoying and only disadvantegous) while a flooder is only useful at pretty short range.
Apart from these two dedicated categories there are of course everything between as well.
I just have a question: has Thrunite totally stopped offering neutral white options?
I choose neutral white always when it's an option and therefore almost all of my Thrunites are in neutral white.
What is better to spot wildlife?
I'm ready to Giveaway.. thrunite is beautiful flashlight.. thanks..
Nice!
Thrunite's are some of the best lights made for their quality and value. Both the T1 and T2 are two of the best lights out there for their ability to flood an area with usable light. If you want to reach way out to see something the T3 has a nice Throw.
I like to have a dedicated thrower for the times I'm out in the fields on the back 40. But for carry a floodier beam is better.
I think throw is much more fun, but I like the practicality of flood lights a little bit better
