I'm a Thrunite man of many years now - they just work, and they provide the best bang for your buck. The Archer is already awesome, and now as a rechargeable it takes the cake. If I win the Thrunite Archer 2A C flashlight, it's going into my EDC backpack.
good flashlight, my favorite is thrunite archer 2a c. 1000 lumens brightness, rechargeable li-ion battery or 2x alkaline aa batteries, strong clip, back and side dual switches, there are 4 brightness levels + strobe, good package for the price of $40
Great size.... makes it so convenient to carry with you anywhere! Appreciate features such as not having to cycle through all the modes and being to set to your favorite mode.
I have quite a few different brands of edc lights I’ve purchased over the years and some that the military issued but by far my favorite is the Thrunite is my favorite and go to source to carry,
It's great news that Thrunite has finally come out with the updated Archer. I've been waiting (and wanting) for a long time for this light. Thank you, Cutlerylover, for another fine comprehensive comparison review. I also like the double sized 2AA rechargeable battery. Thrunite Archer 2A C for the win! Good job, Thrunite!
I'm only interested in high cri lights. The acebeam tac 2aa is beautiful but the cri version is too floody imo. I wish there was a high cri 2aa thrower
Thrunite Archer 2A C flashlight I like that you can set the mode once and it stays there every time you turn on the flashlight. All the flashlights i've had, you have to cycle through all the modes EVERY time you use it . thanks
I really appreciate the design and thought that goes into these lights. My preference is to have a tactical switch on the back/end that is full power only, then a smart switch on the side that allows for dimming or full power via a single / double press / hold... but this definately has its place in my collection too.
I have carried a Thrunite 2A Archer for years. I worked as a locksmith until I retired, and I can't be without a flashlight clipped to the inside of my right pocket. You talk about survival (and the AA batteries), but AA batteries are always available. In a lot of trades, the boss buys AA batteries for the help to use in a variety of applications. That is what originally sold me on the 2AA Archer. 2AA flashlights were pretty rare when I bought it. I am looking at the new rechargeable 2AA replacement Lithium cell, and I am really thinking it is time to buy a backup flashlight. Mine has the black chromate worn off at all the points of wear...
@@GenkiMadGaming I was working as an artist in advertising - I (like you, took a correspondence course (Little Falls, NJ). I quit my job, and I swept floors at a local locksmith shop. Thrunite makes solid Lights, I got a TN12 about 7 Years ago and it’s still as good as on day one even though it has been in use pretty much every day. I can imagine it is the same thing with this Archer.
Very good comparison. if I was given the choice I would choose the Thrunite Archer 2A C because it has good light and is also bright with rechargeable Li-ion batteries and can also use 2x AA batteries for emergency lights and quite affordable price with excellent quality 👍
Thanks for the video. I wasn't aware of the long LiIon battery that replaces 2xAA - very nice, and they include internal USB charging so the flashlights can be used with alkalines while the LiIon battery is being charged. 2xAA flashlights are a very comfortable form factor so these are popular. As usual the ThruNite entry is just that little bit better than the others, with high output and good user interface, including a side switch. If only I could win one...🥳
I've been moving away from 18650s and CR123 lights lately and accumulating more AA and AA sized EDC lights, and am considering the Nitecore as I wasn't aware of this new Thrunite which is very comparable. The only thing really throwing me off the Thrunite is the pocket clip positioning. Can someone explain the reasoning behind this? I prefer my clip up near the end where the button is because the way it's positioned now, half of the light will be sticking out of your pocket and can snag on something, potentially tearing your pocket or causing the light to fall out. I haven't pulled the trigger on the Nitecore because I prefer a slightly wider flood for EDC but these seem more spot focused.
I really like to have the option of carrying 2 AA batteries for emergency in case I don't have the option of charging the rechargeable one, very impressive that the Thrunite Archer can get to 1000 lumens using 2 AA batteries, I think that's my favorite of the bunch 🔥
Nice flashlights I like the charging battery while it’s charging you can use the regular batteries till it’s charged is there a way to know when the rechargeable battery is full is there a lite or something to let you know it’s fully charged I also think these are great for the Police Department to use great video thanks thrunite
This is the Thrunite Flashlight I keep next to the bed. Opps mine is a Archer 2AV3. Well does not matter, I keep an Neutron on my belt 50 + hours a week at work. (Truck driver). Oh my wife just piped up that she loves the Thrunite Catapult V6 by the front door for taking the dogs out at night. Thank you Thrunite for offering such great products. Todd n Felecia, Texas USA Time to order a Archer 2A C. an
I like the idea of rechargeable battery for EDC flashlight for regular use and possibility to use simply AA batteries in case of emergencies when recharge battery is not possible for any reason.
Good review and comparison, the five flashlights look very similar and function well and there are advantages and disadvantages to each flashlight, but I think the Thrunite Archer 2A C is interesting because it produces up to 1000 lumens of light using a type 141000 battery with a capacity of 1600 mah. it's rechargeable with a usb-c port, plus it has a dual switch that works great and is very easy to use, and I think $39.99 is a very good price considering the specs and features on the thrunite archer 2a c. Thank you for the giveaway, good luck to everyone 🙏
it's a very nice slim style flashlight, wanted to keep one to help in lighting, certainly very comfortable to carry all day and thrunite archer 2a c seems good to me. The light is very bright with very beautiful beams, and a 1600 mAh Li-ion battery with USB-C charging will work better than an AA battery. And I think Thrunite will rank top in terms of price and performance, I like this flashlight
Hopefully this Thrunite is as quality made as my other Thrunite's I have purchased. It would be nice to compare them to my other light brands also. I have MANY flashlights, search lights, headlamps etc, so it would be nice to compare them to this Archer light. Thanks for a nice video..
My Thrunite Archer 2AA the clip is removable. You can clip it at either end, and even reverse it so it is button down. Mine is EDC for 5 years as deep carry...
So the upgrades in order of importance to me are 1) new rechargeable battery (yes! excellent). 2) 30 seconds of 1000lm then steps down to the the high mode 500lm. In a light in this form factor, for its intended use, 30 seconds of 1000lm will be useful and suffice for most tasks, its a bonus. 3) Updated UI. I have both a Thrunite Archer 2A V3 and a Nitecore MT2A Pro. I bought the Nitecore as an upgrade to the 2A V3, the Archer 2A C is new and came out after the Nitecore, if the Archer 2A C had come out first I would have bought it. I use the 2A V3 frequently, it sets on a end table next to my couch. The two upgrades of rechargeable battery and 1000lm make this a must have upgrade. I do have one criticism, more of a nit pick really, why include strobe on a light like this? I could have done without the strobe mode.
Wife carries around a really garbage flashlight low lumens, I have never seriously considered a flashlight like the Archer until this video. Honestly not that expensive.
GIVEAWAY CLOSED, Congratulations to Courtney Harris, Alana Neville and Della Cox for winning the giveaway! Thanks to any who took part.
I have the MT2A Pro. No sheath. Comes with a removable pocket clip.
of course
@@spac9745 only mentioned it because he stated wrong information. The MT2A Pro comes with a pocket clip and lanyard. Not a sheath.
I still love the double-direction of the clip. It seems like such a simple aspect to focus on, but the convenience of it is just perfect!
Oh man. No contest. The best currently is the Acebeam tac 2aa. Not even close! Get one!
I'm a Thrunite man of many years now - they just work, and they provide the best bang for your buck. The Archer is already awesome, and now as a rechargeable it takes the cake. If I win the Thrunite Archer 2A C flashlight, it's going into my EDC backpack.
Me too..
Still have mine from a few years ago. Works great, highly recommended
Lost my older Archer few years back. Great little lite
good flashlight, my favorite is thrunite archer 2a c. 1000 lumens brightness, rechargeable li-ion battery or 2x alkaline aa batteries, strong clip, back and side dual switches, there are 4 brightness levels + strobe, good package for the price of $40

I've carried a T12 The Outsider edition for years, I've given 12 of them away as gifts. It's time for a bigger one!

The Thrunite Archer has served me well for the past several years. Thanks for the chance
Like that thrunite, very solid lights
Great video, thanks for the content. Because of this channel I have purchased about 6 Thrunites and I use them all. Cheers
Love it! Seems you read my mind... I've been looking for these flashlights this week, so suddenly this video appears.. thanks man.
The Archer is on my list
I'm only interested in high cri lights. The acebeam tac 2aa is beautiful but the cri version is too floody imo. I wish there was a high cri 2aa thrower
Like how slim it is.. May have to pick one up
Any of these would be handy for work when I'm in some tight confined spaces with barely and hand room to inspect boiler tubes
Been looking for a flashlight for camping
Thrunite Archer 2A C flashlight I like that you can set the mode once and it stays there every time you turn on the flashlight. All the flashlights i've had, you have to cycle through all the modes EVERY time you use it

Don’t even try to pretend you don’t love cutlery.😂
Lmfao I’m debating buying my first light, or my 5th knife/ other vintage kitchen utensils lmfaoo

I'm a huge Archer fan. That said, it's time for a new one! Thanks, Thrunite.
When they going to bring back the t14 in titanium. We need it
Size, brightness and battery life..winning combination.
Nice, I have a Thrunite TC15 and a Catapult T6. I really like the Archer 2A C flashlight.
Cutlerylover 😁?!
I had to double check the channel 😂
Sounds just like Jeff

Can you tell me how you got started as a locksmith? I'm currently in school online

I love my TC15, going strong for years. I would love to try the Thrunite Archer 2A C

Fantastic pen sized flashlights. I really thinking on buying one those.

I love my thrunite lights. Would be nice if you guys would come out with a 2aaa light that can use lithium or alkaline
Will have to give one a try.
Great robust and durable lights
good specs and price on that Thrunite. awesome, count me in !
We LOVE these flashlights! They also make great gifts.
I think the multiple battery option is very important
I agree with ALL o fthis! Thank you for what you do!

I like the idea of rechargeable battery for EDC flashlight for regular use and possibility to use simply AA batteries in case of emergencies when recharge battery is not possible for any reason.

2AA lights good balance between size, run time and comkon batteries.
Thrunite all the way. This looks perfect for the toolbox.
Just bought two other Archer Pro types....
The Archer 2A C would be a solid replacement for my current first aid kit light
Very nice flashlights
Interesting to learn about.
I really like the ability to default to 2 AA batteries in a pinch.
Hopefully this Thrunite is as quality made as my other Thrunite's I have purchased. It would be nice to compare them to my other light brands also. I have MANY flashlights, search lights, headlamps etc, so it would be nice to compare them to this Archer light. Thanks for a nice video..
The Thrunite Archer 2A C flashlight seems a great one...
Hehe, long time no vid :). These would make a perfect carry for backpack camping in the mountains.
Thrunite lights are great
Nice video, I know my dad was looking for a strong flashlight so this would be a great gift for him :)
Thrunite makes great flashlights!
Love my edc archer pro V2!
Looks like a great flashlight.
Love my 2A V3, and positive I'll also like the Thrunite Archer 2A C flashlight that I win.
Thanks for the opportunity to win
These look awesome!
They will work for me
These are the best lights so Brite
Wow. Love thrunite.
That pocket clip position on the thrunite is terrible. Why isn't deep carry the standard yet?
My Thrunite Archer 2AA the clip is removable. You can clip it at either end, and even reverse it so it is button down. Mine is EDC for 5 years as deep carry...
I love my TheuNite edc flashlights. I have the T1 and T1S. Fantastic lights. I use them everyday.
These are awesome
Solid review
Thank you!
Very interesting lights!

awesome products, thanks for the video :)
Sounds great !
Love this form factor. I definitely need to add one to the collection.
It's hard to find a 2AA flashlight that is durable. Thrunight looks good.
great video

$40, 1000 lumens. Good value for a flashlight for sure. 👍
Hello ThruNite, looking good! Be safe and take care, "God Bless", sincerely, Randy. 😇🙏👊
I like it
😎👍
Hopefully they pick me as the winner of the Thrunite archer 2a c
