Hey guys recently found your channel on RUclips after getting annoyed with so many others that started off good and down to earth before selling their souls to big companies. So really loving the down to earth appeal of your channel. Just on this episode - if you are ever in Kimba again don't stay at the Shell - the RV camp at the towns oval is one of the best we have ever seen - $10 donation per night, massive camp kitchen and coin operated hot showers it is amazing! We are all on a budget and every little bit helps. Keep up the good content - enjoy the experience and be safe! Regards Liz & Paul
Thank you so much Liz & Paul!!! The day after we stayed at the Shell we ventured into town for a look and found the camp you are talking about so next time we will 100% stay there!! Thanks again guys!!
That's a good decision, much more weather friendly, more enjoyable trip , Hopefully weather is kind to yous, but it is Australia, dry one minute, flooding the next, Happy safe travels Cheers Bevan 🤠❤️🇦🇺
Thanks for another great episode guys, we are really enjoying the good detail. We are on and off maps looking at where you are. We arrived back home early last week from a trip, Mansfield, Qld. to Cooktown and back, so I am tuning in more and more to your detail.
What year models your ranger mate. I’m thinking of turning off my smart alternator. The only thing I need smarter than myself is my wife. Did you see a significant change with charging? We take ownership of our JB Dirt Roader tomorrow and will be following hot on your heals on the same route, just don’t want that same issue. Thanks
2019 mate, and yes I highly recommend having it turned off, what happens when it is turned on is it charges the starter battery up until it gets to 12.6v and then cuts out, our dcdc needs 12.8v to pull a charge so majority of driving time it was not charging at all! It was as simple as the dealer logging on with a laptop and switching it to dual battery 👍🏼
One of my old work colleagues Dave and his wife own the pub 🍻 it's pretty awesome 👍 did you do the historical walk around the town or wots left of it cheers legends ☺️
"Smart alternator" is one of those oxymorons like "business intelligence" or "honest politician" 🤪
😂😂😂 you’re not wrong mate 😝
Yeah..the wind was rocking the van..lolzz
😂😂 gotta have a story for the kids…

It’s such an eary feeling there!
Not sure if the alternator fix sorted it for you completely, if not we got the Bmpro MiniBoost for our JB if you’re still having issues. Cheers
