Hey ThemePark Worldwide, it’s Braedon. I was your operator for the Thunderbird at the start of the day and your operator on Voyage later in the day. So glad you enjoyed your trip, it was nice meeting you and now I’m a fan of the channel!
Here’s why I love your channel: you post insane vlogs complete with on-ride media on most of them, and you always show your reaction off of every roller coaster you have ridden!
In addition to this: no matter how many times he's already visited a park he always provides is with vlogs around 1 hour. I know a lot of channels that just do a 20 minutes vlog if they've already visited that park before.
I love it when parks allow you to film on rides. It does them such a favour too because people like me get to see what is on offer and this park is now on my list to visit. Love it
So many reasons to try and visit this park. The launched B&M winged coaster looks amazing, not to mention the wooden coasters. Love all the freebies included with admission; wish more parks would do the same. I love Christmas, so that would definitely be my favourite area
Just one other comment...regarding Turkey meals in USA, I think many USA folk cook their Turkeys in a sort of deep fat fryer drum.i.e dipped in oil. Think it gives the Turkey more moisture rather than the dry Turkey we are used to in the UK.
Amazing wooden coasters, a launched B&M AND a train ride! Perfect Park! I love the brief glimpse of the children's area. My kids would love it too! It'd be super hard for us to visit any of these parks, but this one is the best candidate so far for my family - The Water park makes it an even better draw for us, i wonder if they have on site accommodation? Kids love Christmas! The transatlantic trip makes it a bit of a pipe-dream unfortunately. Thanks for showing the other bits like the water park and kids stuff, its really made me consider this park. On a separate note, id love to see what merch youve bought in a video.
I love your reaction to the Voyage, Sean. When I’d be feeling down I’d sometimes go back to your 2019 reaction to this ride and it would always cheer me up. It’s so phenomenal, and I am so lucky to have a coaster like that within driving distance; I love seeing your genuine enthusiasm for it!
Been enjoying virtually tagging along with you all. I love Holiday World. Thunderbird is so great, it is really strange that there aren't more B&M launched coasters. We try and get there for Holiwood Nights as much as we can. Voyage without trims in the pitch black is my favorite coaster on Earth. The waterpark is the best I have ever experienced as well. Wildebeest is just insane. You get some crazy airtime on those watercoasters.
20:22 When I went to Holiday World 2 years ago and rode the Gobbler Getaway, the gobbling noises from the turkeys on that ride will stay with me for months after riding it. I keep hearing their gobbling noises from the ride for several months. Those turkeys surely want you to remember them when riding the ride.
What a treat to ride and film The Voyage! I can't help putting this park in the class of Knoebels as for the overall experience. Nice job again Shawn and Charlotte, looking forward to the next park and the next ... 👍
Having done several Holiwood Nights events, I would HIGHLY recommend planning your next American trip so that you can attend it. All three woodies are incredible night rides, of course Voyage especially. It’s an event every coaster enthusiast should make it to at least once.
I love the pacing of these vlogs. I've been busy this month and to be able to sit down and binge 2-3 new vlogs has been great. The vibe on this trip is fantastic. Watching Charlotte experience these places for the first time is a real treat. I'm also really enjoying the travel videos on the Sandbrooke Adventures channel. I need to get to this park in the worst way. Also, shredded turkey must be a Midwest thing because I have certainly never heard of such madness. People in the northeast would consider that a crime against turkey. Keep them coming TPW!
You are living the dream ❤ My autistic daughter loved watching your uk park reviews (constantly 😂) before we visited them, especially alton towers. To take her to America to do the same is our absolute dream. Keep being you!
It's really fun to watch your reviews every day. Every time I see a new episode of the American trip, I can enjoy watching for a while and dream away to get there myself one day. Thank you for your great and honest reviews. Love charlotte's creepy dance there.
Oooh !! Right up there with the top 5 parks on this trip so far for me. Loads of variety and interesting attractions, including the awesome Rollercoasters. I checked this park out on Google Earth and can see this is one massive resort with a mighty big Waterpark and spread out other swim pools etc.
I work here so I really appreciate the good reviews, I am so glad you enjoyed it. I find this park really enjoyable and it’s always a nice sight driving up to work and seeing this! Loved the video Sean!
Never was this park even on my wish or buck list. Living in Delaware I never ever heard of it but it is now! I love the idea of the lands being split into holidays! And the free drinks and how nice and clean it looks just pushes it over the top! Also the fireworks show was great! Great video!
Just gave holiday world a look online. One of the cheapest single day tickets, for both the theme park and water park. Absolutely insane. I didnt expect there to be many rides for that price, i would pay just to ride the voyage and thunderbird (probably my biggest bucket list coaster after watching this video), but there are SO many rides! The water park looks especially impressive. Really amazed at this park.
Deffenetely loved this 🥰i love the themed parks so much this looking like 1 of my faves of your trip so far.. with everything inside the park and those little freebie things they offer around the park to , absolutely amazing loved it:) nd you both getting into the festive spirit✨️🥰💖x
Ahhh, you both are so much fun to watch! Im riding with you and loving it! I was there 7 yrs ago. I bought a tshirt after riding Thunderbird, that said "Orange is the New Track" after the Netflix show. Loved it! The water park is awesome also. Another... I want to go back"!
Thanks as ever Shawn and Charlotte for the amazing videos you do and for letting us come along with you as it were! The Voyage looks absolutely amazing and reminds me a little bit of The Ultimate at Lightwater Valley, almost as if they had they decided to revamp it in a year or two, this is approximately how it would look - even down to most of the track being hidden in the woods. Thanks guys and hope you enjoyed your American Road Trip, I’ve hugely enjoyed all your videos! ☺️
With my financial restraints I'm lucky if Holiworld nights 2024 is the next time I get on a roller coaster, which will be my 1st time visiting the park, but I'll be happy if that happens. Lovely to see you have fun for Charlotte's 1st time there. BTW those turkeys sound more like seals. Phil Collins said that about each drum pulse of his own famous drum fill (Phil?) from "In the air tonight". ( BTW I went to school with Joely Collins; his eldest child at Point Grey secondary in Vancouver from 1986 though 1989, but I digress.) Glad you're having fun. Thanks for posting!
Hi shawn and Charlotte Wow what a beautiful park the voyage is amazing. What a great ride so long . Such a great park brilliant free drinks and sun cream that's so nice . Really appreciate the on ride Pov's makes such a difference. Great vlog thanks for sharing with us. Love to you both as always Tracey 💕 xxxx
The launch on Pipeline was one of the biggest surprises of that ride along with the incredible standing airtime. So B&M can definitely do launches well!!!
Amazing vlog for your second visit to holiday world so glad it was so much better than your first time and it was not ruined by awful weather again and the night time show was brilliant truly loving all of the vlog on your USA road trip can't wait for more
Your enthousiasme always makes me smile 😁💥🤟so nice of the park to let you film onride first thing in the morning ,these pov's are the best,👏Vogage looks like a fantastic woody 🎢and charlotte...i just ❤her
I love the fact that you all chose to visit my state twice on the trip. A lot of times Indiana is forgotten a lot with Chicago, Cedar Point and Kings Island
The 1st rollercoaster 🎢 seemed to be endless of so much positive elements to it with your amazing on ride pov experience it has to be the most oldest popular on going ride, it’s great to see how the park have done such great maintenance work keeping the ride in great condition. I really love your enthusiasm passions for rides especially when you show your reactions responses on ride and off rides, I must admit it’s nice that you combine the parks pov but I actually much prefer your pov as you engage with us including your really funny onride innuendos screams woohs oh yes second launch wow 🤩 of excitement great vlog oh by the way A very Merry Happy 😃 Christmas ⛄ cheers 🍻
@@ThemeParkWorldwide well we would have it’s that once we rode the voyage we found all the other coasters are closed for the day and we drove 6 hours from Missouri. We are going to try again tomorrow and we went to Kentucky Kingdom today. I got all rides in there and salvaged the day lol
I'm glad you two had the chance to visit the 3 locals parks (Holiday World, Kings Island, and Kentucky Kingdom) I hoped you have a better experince at Kings Island than what you had at 2019, Enjoying the blog!!
Shawn and Charlotte, Thank you so very much! I really love your POI's, they can't be beat. Back in 1964 as a 4-H member, I raised a tri-state champion turkey(35 altogether and was a tri-state champion. The winning turkey weighed well over 30 pounds, and was almost as big as I was at 12 years old. I sold them at a premium price and people complained about that until they ate them, and then they begged to be put on the list for the next year. I have never had turkey like those, they were treated with TLC until Holiday time and then...well:) You have to have young bladders to drink so much without a rest stop, more power to you:) I would never go on the cage, all I could think about was, what if someone got sick while spinning!!!!, a horrible thought!!!!! arghhhhh On that note, Cheers, Rik
I think the building that looks to be the station for the 2024 coaster is left over from the Pilgrim’s Plunge flume ride that only lasted a few seasons.
The Voyage's party trick is that the entire time you're traveling to the midway point of the ride where the 90 degree banked turns are you are going up in elevation in the terrain. That is how it gains so much momentum so quickly back towards the station despite the MCBR. You are continuing to travel downhill even though it feels like you are traveling level along the ground. Also the "Will Power" on the side of Thunderbirds station is a nod to Will Koch who used to run Holiday World and passed away unexpectedly. Also you should try the Big Red soda if you're there again. It's not available in every free drink station but a couple have it. That is a local drink only available in the kentuckiana area and texas. I'm personally a big fan of it.
Great video! It’s a shame Raven was closed but you can’t always get every credit sometimes… What’s a bigger shame is that you guys didn’t do any of the waterpark rides…Zoombabwe the worlds longest enclosed raft slide, Cheetah Chase, the first ‘launched’ dueling water coaster, and of course the two best water coasters in the world: Wildebeest and Mammoth. They are phenomenal and worth riding…even for coaster enthusiasts.
Holiday world is actually the very first theme park ever in the world. Some may think disney, but it was holiday world. Love that it is only an hour drive drom our home.
I love Holiday World but have always wished that more theming would be added to the Thanksgiving, 4th of July and Halloween lands. The Christmas area is beautiful, but the other lands rely mostly on color for theming rather than buildings, props and landmarks like in Christmas.
The Voyage is still one of my top 5 coasters in the world that I have ridden. I found Thunderbird also really good. I thought I did not like wing coasters after riding the disappointing Screaming Eagle at Dollywood. I could only go on Screaming Eagles 2x the entire day and was done with it, but when I got on Thunderbird I realized a good wing coaster like this when done right is actually amazing.
Great vlog! It looks like you and Charlotte had a very good time at Holiday World! And I not gonna lie, the drones and the fireworks were just awesome! I would like to take a trip to Holiday World if me and my family have an airplane to get there instead of a car in the future lol!
The station building for the new coaster was actually the old station building for Pilgrims Plunge, a massive Intamin water ride that closed about 10 years ago
I have family in the area, and its like a few miles North and East of the park is the Eastern time zone. Might see if I can squeeze the park in in September, but they only run on weekends (if they had Friday hours, would be more likely)
Like #412. Holiday World is one of the USA's hidden gems. Sure Cedar Point and the Florida Parks are amazing. This is a special park. I was once on line for a ride at Universal and there was a family behind me (not speaking english) with two male teens inches from my back; they actually pushed me once (of course I turned around and told them to "knock it off" . . .meant nothing.). Holiday World a step different.
Voyage is my #1 without question - that night ride sealed it. If you ever find yourselves in that area during the scare season you can get walk on night rides of all the big 3!
Hey ThemePark Worldwide, it’s Braedon. I was your operator for the Thunderbird at the start of the day and your operator on Voyage later in the day. So glad you enjoyed your trip, it was nice meeting you and now I’m a fan of the channel!

I love it when parks allow you to film on rides. It does them such a favour too because people like me get to see what is on offer and this park is now on my list to visit. Love it
It really does! We had a fantastic day here!
Yeah, this park gets it. Vloggers like Shawn and Charlotte are so important to get people excited to come to your park.
Shawn: *Turns his hat around*
Charlotte:😍😍😍😍
That triple down (with a bend, no less) in the tunnel is such a dope element. What a relentless coaster.
It’s brilliant
So many reasons to try and visit this park. The launched B&M winged coaster looks amazing, not to mention the wooden coasters. Love all the freebies included with admission; wish more parks would do the same. I love Christmas, so that would definitely be my favourite area
Lovely to see Charlotte coming out of her shell presenting 🥰 The coaster layouts are phenomenal, so good 👍🏻
Thank you!
Don’t be afraid to give us multiple pov’s to the same ride. Reactions never get old.
It was fantastic that they allowed us to film on ride!
Just one other comment...regarding Turkey meals in USA, I think many USA folk cook their Turkeys in a sort of deep fat fryer drum.i.e dipped in oil. Think it gives the Turkey more moisture rather than the dry Turkey we are used to in the UK.

It’s an incredible ride and really long!

Would love to give that a go!
This is my family's all-time favorite theme park. We camp at Lake Rudolph and walk over.

The Voyage is calling my name, must do. Looks like a great day at Holiday World!
It’s a beautiful ride
This park is on my bucket list. I have enjoyed all of your videos.
Thank you. It’s a great park!
Wow, they're really showing the other parks up with the free drinks and parking. Little things like that have a big impact on guest happiness.
It’s a fantastic family owned park!

Another fab one guys you always make me smile lively to see your enjoyment my support always xx
I liked they used the Anna Kendrick x Snoop dog song from pitch perfect 2 in the soundtrack in the drone show!!! Xxx
What an awesome and spectacular day and night you had there. Such great timing to get that show in the end. Love and thank you both so much.
It was epic!
If I recall, it chucked it down last time you visited Holiday World and everything closed. Glad the weather was a lot more pleasing this time.

Can’t wait for Pipeline!
Going this June for my very first ride on Voyage! Can hardly wait! I'm 64 years young and hitting my 100th roller coaster this summer!
Amazing vlog for your second visit to holiday world so glad it was so much better than your first time and it was not ruined by awful weather again and the night time show was brilliant truly loving all of the vlog on your USA road trip can't wait for more

A 400 drone show?!?! I didn't even know that was a thing! That was definitely an awesome show! Great vlog guys!

Great video! It’s a shame Raven was closed but you can’t always get every credit sometimes…

We’re not huge on water parks, especially Charlotte! I did some of the slides back in 2019 and wanted to prioritise the theme park rides this time!

Thank you!
@@ThemeParkWorldwide you’re welcome
The station building for the new coaster was actually the old station building for Pilgrims Plunge, a massive Intamin water ride that closed about 10 years ago
One of my favorite parks!! The Voyage is a monster!!
It’s brilliant!
Love all your videos ❤❤❤
Thank you!
Thank you!
Awesome Video Guys
Thanks!
Voyage is my #1 without question - that night ride sealed it. If you ever find yourselves in that area during the scare season you can get walk on night rides of all the big 3!
It’s incredible
