I go to Holiday World every year, it really is amazing! I've never been to any other theme park, but I have a feeling I'd be disappointed by anything other than Holiday World.
The tickets for this place are rather expensive for what they offer so none of it is really free. You are just paying extra for it with the ticket price.
@@callmemarc to be fair they do have world-class wooden Roller Coasters. The kids seemed very happy. 50$ admission is a tad high. a trip to the fair could cost more if you don't car pool this has better rides.
My son met you and got a selfie at Holiday World. You made his day! We both love watching your videos. His birthday is on the 14th and I think you made his a good one. Safe Travels my friend
The fact that they give away sun screen, soda, and free parking, gets people returning again and again. Very kid friendly with a lot of those rides too. Great business model they have going. I would enjoy a nice fun day at that park and I'm 68. Well done Jacob and Holiday World! 🤘🤘🤘
AWESOME! I met u that day but didnt want to disturb u too much. We watch u everyday. I have planned many trips from ure vlogs. It means alot to us that u do this. That area also has many caves. Marengo, Wyandotte, Squire boone. U will be hard pressed to find a prettier cave then Marengo. I am so happy we met u. Thank you!
Fun fact; they did a test run of Good Gravy with giant turkey plushies in the seats. You'll probably have seen these turkey plushies in most of the park games as top prize.
Whoever worked on the theming, the ride sign, the queue design, and the overall decoration of Good Gravy! needs to be promoted, hired by Busch Gardens, Six Flags, Cedar Fair--I don't know who, but for a ride of this smaller scale to have THIS level of creativity and immersion is not common at all and I'm here for it!
The original antique cars were definitely one of my favorite attractions at Kings Island. Its definitely meant to give kids the freedom to drive cars and I'm here for it! 👍❤️
I was very impressed with the theming of the Good Gravy line. It invoked memories of Thanksgiving spent at my grandparents, or my cousin's, or at home. It made me very nostalgic. If anyone from the park is watching this, my hat's off to you. Incredibly well done. And free soda too!
Hello Jacob I love your new camera. I don't understand why people are complaining about the audio it sounds perfectly fine to me. I understand every word you say.
It looked like a pleasant park 👍 hopefully they will continue to attract vary large annual crowds to the park , so people 50 years from now can enjoy being young at heart ❤️
When my Aunt Shirley moved to Tell City , Indiana and when we visited her she took us to Santa Claus Land back then, remember having a good time, thanks for the video 😊
The theming of Good Gravy! reminds me of that meme, where one panel is what people think the 80s were like (loud day-glo colors etc), and the other panel is what the 80s were really like (wood paneling). The 60s were before my time, and I wonder what the average household looked like back then, vs. our stylized memory of it
We visited yesterday too and got a selfie with carpetbagger it was a super fun day and the good gravy ride was super smooth I even rode some rides that I’ve been too scared to ride for years all in all a great Mother’s Day for my mom and an awesome experience for my dad and I getting to meet carpetbagger!
I have to absolutely applaud Holiday World on creativity in theming. I feel like most theme parks that aren't directly tied to some kind of movie IP always default to being themed around either genres of fiction (fantasy, adventure, western, etc) or some kind of region of the world or some combination of both. Disney did the former before its IP library got strong, Busch Gardens did the latter. But Holiday World is just like "Nah, we're doing holidays". Particularly big props for a roller coaster that evokes Thanksgiving dinner in general and gravy in specific.
I never been to Holiday World in Indiana, I'm in Louisville Kentucky I grew up in the 80s and 90s going to Kentucky Kingdom were they would have the state Fair later in August but you go anytime to Kentucky Kingdom. I'm 48 now just had a birthday May 6th. Thanks for sharing this Jacob 🤓📸 your awesome 👍
I absolutely enjoy your videos brother...i havent got thru all your older videos but i will...this makes me think of my late mother she loved Christmas more than any human being ive ever known..she always wanted to go to Santa Land in NC but we never got to go..do you know if its still going? Lots o love to you n yours from your Southeast Tennessee neighbor
This place does look fun!! The theming was well thought out and without being “too much” it’s cute & creative. I love going through the family home for Good Gravy.
How Clean, Vibrantly Colored and Impeccably Detailed everything in this park seems to be. All the attractions you showed in this video look brand new. Whomever owns this park seems to really LOVE what they are doing and are offering a phenomenal Theme Park experience to families. Much Praise to them!
I rode The Voyage back in in 2022 and I did not care for it seemed too rough even rougher than the Beast at Kings Island before the retracking. I love that turkey themed dark ride.
If anyone is wondering what the coasters here they are. Good gravy: first custom vekoma junior boomerang, good ride Thunder bird: b&m launched wing coaster, pretty good ride. Howler:just a zamperla gravity coaster. The legend: focused on laterals, great cci coaster. The raven: focused on hills and turns, again great cci The voyage: focused on airtime, anything you could want on a coaster, top tier, best ride in the park.
I love how this holiday theme park comes through with the bare minimum for each holiday! 😁 But in all, it looks like a fun place for kids! Love the free stuff throughout. I hope they decorate more for each holiday when they come around. I'm also glad I don't have kids so I don't feel the need to go here! The spiderweb at 43:36 is a vibe. 🕸
Camera is working well here. Putting it down and having it track you while you walked to the photo op was seamless. You’re probably not after more camera feedback but I thought it worthwhile that I noticed and it was good.
I love holiday world 🥰 Make sure you come back the first week of October for the fall festival in Evansville,IN. It’s the biggest festival after Mardi Gras
I agree with you I am not a fan of wooden rollercoasters because of the roughness. I remember when they opened the Wildcat at Hershey Park years ago & I hated it because it was so rough & that was when I was young. Glad they finally got rid of it, haven’t ridden Wildcats Revenge. 😅
Me and my gf watch everyone of your videos everyday you post just wanted to thank you for always make time to entertain us we always look forward to your everyday posts thanks again
Thank You so much for sharing your adventures. I had so much fun watching you. I have watched about 4 or 5 so far. I cannot wait to watch more. Take care.
Putting on the Bluetooth mic while the camera tracks you to a face hole is the perfect use for it, although leaving the camera alone to ride the tiny roller coaster gave me anxiety about the chance for somebody to steal your new camera. Free sunscreen and free soda are amazing! Also, I don't have kids, but that park looked perfectly suited for small children, with plenty of rides they could enjoy. It seems like most theme parks just have one small section for kids and design the park around teens and adults.
Free parking, free sunscreen, and free soft drinks? Amazing.
I go to Holiday World every year, it really is amazing! I've never been to any other theme park, but I have a feeling I'd be disappointed by anything other than Holiday World.
And Disney only charges two arns, two legs and your first born. 😂
@@goofyrulez7914 Very true, but to be fair, the quality of the attractions is better than a coaster going through an empty gravy can.

That's a fantastic birthday present
HolidayWorld is easily one of the greatest theme parks of all time.
Holiday World is a lot BETTER than I expected. Great historic (since 1946) amusement park!

Never thought I’d see a gravy themed coaster, but there it is! 😂
And I never thought I would love a gravy themed roller coaster, but here we are lol.
Jacob, the giant chicken thing is an egg timer. I loved this video. Very nice new roller coaster!
Came here to say that
What a charming, people-friendly park that doesn’t take your last penny off you 😊
And, just like that, another Monday saved by the Carpetbagger.
The big chicken outside was a timer used in many kitchens years ago.
What a fun park. Very coo with free soda and sunscreen, and parking!!
A round of applause for "I completely forgot this restaurant was here." Took me half a beat and then I laughed out loud.
Right - he kept the shot so you had time to register it.
Doh!!! But do they have a basement? 🤔

MY HOME PARK!! Been watching u for five years now!
Very nice editing on the Gravy Coaster sequence.
I agree. Great work around for not being able to film on the ride. The editing and the commitment to setting up the shots over and over are top notch
Thank you! Tried a little something different
The Voyage is my favorite roller coaster in the entire park
Man sucks i missed you. I live about 45 mins away. You my favorite youtube guy. Thanks for coming to our theme park.
