This was my first video from you and I LOVED it!!! I worked at Cedar Point while in college 1980-83 and have not been back. My train is still there - I was a train girl 2 summers - I see guys on it now, BUT, my Space Spiral (summer 82) is history. I hardly recognized the place. Our dorms are gone ... new hotels and coasters and rides and more. And camels!! Thank you!
Great vids as usual. When I get home from work my family and I enjoy the places that you take us. We look forward to your excellently done videos. A perfect end to a day at work. We have voted you our best you tuber. Thanks for your hard work. I know it must be difficult, Our family.
Ooh! This is a great chance for me to ask this question! My sister and I have been to Cedar point about a dozen times or more. We love it! But we ALWAYS are aching and feel aweful after riding Maverick. May I ask how tall you are? My sister is about 5'3" and feels -terrible- after riding it. Headaches, shoulders etc. I am 5'7" and I feel achey, but not as bad as her. So I'm trying to figure out if it really is a height issue with how their seats in the cars are built
Your video editing and quality have improved far beyond the amazing content you’ve already been producing. Your new camera is amazing! I felt like I was right there with you! Thank you for keeping me company. 🙏
Me and my boyfriend were lucky enough to run into you at the Glass Blowing Theater! Thanks for taking a minute to chat with us first timers from Cali! I regret not asking for a selfie, but I knew you were busy! It was a pleasure and hopefully we'll see you if we make it back! Keep up the helpful videos!
I was just thinking about going to Cedar Point for the first time this weekend, so I searched "Cedar Point 2024" on youtube for a better idea of what the park is like, and found that my favorite amusement park "vlogger" uploaded this like an hour ago. What a coincidence lol.
I worked there, one summer, in the early 1990's. I almost didn't recognize the park. I haven't managed to make it back to Cedar Point but was glad to visit, again, through your video.
:) so glad you came to Cedar Point, went there every year as a teenager, its been a while since i have been there. I enjoyed your time there. thank you
Hi Jacob the weather looks beautiful... Great to see the season Is up and running again...I really enjoy watching potter around all these wonderful parks.... Wishing you well Mate XXX
Yes, you’re describing the feelings I remember from riding the Blue Streak in 1970. It was very creaky even then. It has been many years since I visited the park so I appreciate your tour.
I have been watching his channel for several years now. I was living in SC then I moved to Ohio back in November I got married and been up here since, I just recently got a job at Cedar Point and I can't believe Jacob was there!
In the arcade version it was blue streak and mean streak I believe. Mean streak got re-tracked by RMC and is now Steel Vengance. Best coaster I’ve ever ridden.
Cedar Point is my absolute favorite theme park!! The blue streak brings back many memories as it was the very first rollercoaster I ever road as a kid! Thank YOU for all these wonderful videos, I look forward to watching them every day!!!
watching this now at the end of the season is so sad cause of when he starts talking about top thrill 2 at about 35:30 and says " maybe itll be open before the summers over"..... i conquered my fear of coasters this year, visiting cedar point for the first time. it took me a couple trips to the park to work my way up the ladder of intense coasters but by the end of it all i was fully acclimated and i wanted to ride top thrill sooo bad.
When I went there for a school trip 20 years ago, a tornado started to form but fortunately didn't touch down. It turned windy and pitch black in under 10 seconds. Everyone was running around panicking and I took shelter in the arcade while it downpoured the rest of the time. I've been back multiple times since then, but that's what I always think of. Lol Raptor will always be my favorite. Glad you finally got to ride Blue Streak!
You are awesome. I have a grandson who is 12 and afraid of heights so i love watching your videos to find places who has rides that he will get on. Thanks for the ideas and thanks for the videos
Grew up in S.W. Michigan, Paw Paw, Kalamazoo specifically, and used to live for the 2-3 trips to THE Point every year!! It's so hard for me to understand how anyone could NOT love the absolute rush and thrill of the roller coasters! Now 66 and a right leg amputee, would LOVE the opportunity to ride them again! Gotta agree with @blakeogilvie1002! Look forward to your videos daily! Just can't imagine being afraid of the coasters, especially when the safety records are spotless. Reckon that there's a first time for everything though, right? Think that adds to the rush of the whole experience though. Thank you carpet bagger for the work you do, and for keeping us entertained!
100% yes!! I would be an honor to hop aboard a Ferris wheel with the Carpetbagger!!! I'm a season pass holder at Hershey Park, I also live not far from Dorney Park and Knobles!
Used to see the Blue Streak virtual ride a lot at malls and arcades back in the day. I was too old to fit in it, but I did eventually make it to Cedar Point and rode the real thing, great little coaster!
Our big treat for the summer, when we were kids, was our day at Cedar Point! Lots of good memories, staying at the old Breakers hotel. I loved the Earthquake dark ride, but my favorite was the train ride through Boneville. So glad it is still there!
Currently watching this video while sporting my new Carpetbagger T-shirt!!! This makes me want to go back to Cedar Point so bad! I'm guessing the next amusement park will be Kings Island ;) but perhaps I'm wrong! Thanks for the videos, Jacob! You ROCK!
The Top Thrill Chill sounds like a drink we made at the skating rink in the 80s called a Suicide! You mix all the fountain sodas together, except for diet! For some odd reason, it was delicious!😊
We live in Sandusky and go to Cedar Point several times a week. We watch all your videos and would enjoy meeting up with you next time you are in town.
We love watching your videos as you travel. Amazed at your pressed penny collection. Do you have any idea how many there are? Keep up your incredible videos.
There used to be a funhouse/haunted house there back in the 70's when I was young. You would have loved it! I haven't been to Cedar Point since 1988. It's neat to see things still there that I remember from my childhood! Cedar downs, the train and boneville, big ferris wheel, calypso (my cousins and i rode 30x in a row). There also used to be a ferry boat ride that was themed on "bad" Native Americans.
I used to live in NE Ohio and went there for a high school trip in 1977, they had 5 roller coasters and you got a collector card stamped for each one ridden. Visited the park again maybe 2000 with my son and the original Top Thrill dragster was not working that day.
My friend actually owned the full length VHS tape to those simulated rides you were talking about… There was like six or seven of them and a history snippet about both of them and the park itself. It was nice ha ha ha brings back memories.
the Solano mall in Fairfield California used to have a Cedar Point machine, it was put next to all the other childrens rides which was placed next to the childrens playground in the mall, im not sure if its still there but i definitely rode it a few times as a kid 👍
I'm up for Ferris wheel 2025. I'm usually a single rider myself. I am guessing King's Island for the next park (or maybe Kennywood). I was at Waldameer and didn't see you so I am ruling out that nearby park 😃
Ha, it’s ironic because Cedar point actually had those roller coaster simulators in their arcades. I’ll have to look it up, but I believe the other coasters were the iron dragon, Mean Streak, the Magnum, and the Gemini. But I’ll have to double check that.
The arcade machine is called the "Kiddie Coaster" and it includes Blue Streak and Gemini. They had one for many years in the Sandusky Mall (might still be there; I haven't paid attention the last few times I've been in the mall)
There were 2 camels that escaped from the Cedar Point petting zoo and were running down a crowded path. Look up the video it’s pretty wild. I mention it here Jacob, as I know you have a fondness for Ohio camels.
Welcome back to Ohio! I have lived in Ohio all my life. Still have not been to Cedar Point. I grew up by Kings Island. That was always my home Park. There is a new Carousal opening at Young's Jersey Dairy in Yellow Springs, Ohio this summer. I was there last weekend. Looks like it is going to be really nice. Don't know the exact date. Thanks for the video!
Nothing like the smell of a fresh Carpetbagger video in the morning.
Smells like... FUN! Adventure! Friends :)
Cue ride of the Valkyries
lets elaborate on this smell
It's a mix between cotton candy, fog machine, and Pirates of the Carribean ride. Good times!
It's the smell of compressed air....

Hard to beat Cedar Point. The Peninsula itself is Awesome. Maverick is my Favorite coaster there. Nicely done Jacob

@@vickymorriskeen5817 Don't place your heads into the headrest. Lean your head and neck forward and look into the curves. I last rode it 9/14/24

Cedar point is amazing. You need to go!!
Thank you Jacob for sharing a Carousel ride with us! I'm glad to see you are still interacting with Camels without getting bit
Camels got out just a bit ago. They heard Carpetbagger was there a week ago.
I'm glad you got 2 of the 3 parks done. Have fun at #3.
Been dying to get out to Cedar Point but life keeps getting in the way.
Same. I've actually never been but it's my dream. This is a fantastic park trip video, thank you so much Jacob!
Thanks for taking us along. This was so much fun. I remember the beautiful Cedar Point park from many years ago when I went there with my family.
Best theme park video as always thanks Carpetbagger
I worked there, one summer, in the early 1990's. I almost didn't recognize the park. I haven't managed to make it back to Cedar Point but was glad to visit, again, through your video.
Love that skyline filled with coasters!
60 years and still going strong 🤯 imagine 3 generations riding the same ride. Great vid Jacob 🎉
Something about all the people staring at your camera for prolonged periods of time cracks me up a little. The power of curiosity.
The girl at the beginning reprimanding her partner made me laugh.
Gemini is the other option on the game. Chuck e. cheese has it still.
@@tylerdavis127that was so funny to watch because he took an opportunity to be in the video😭
It was nice to see you at Cedar Point
:) so glad you came to Cedar Point, went there every year as a teenager, its been a while since i have been there. I enjoyed your time there. thank you
"A big, friendly camel!" GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!! LOL!
> 21:25
Dang I just missed you! I was there on Sunday. Got the season pass this year for the first time ever. Love it there!
I like the year of the Ferris Wheel idea. Would love to ride with you!
Hi Jacob the weather looks beautiful... Great to see the season Is up and running again...I really enjoy watching potter around all these wonderful parks.... Wishing you well Mate XXX

this is Scott and Shari, we watch you every day.. Better than a tv show!
❤I agree
OMG YOUR CHANNEL HAS GROWN SO MUCH!
happy 500k!

Always good to see a Cedar Point trip!
Good Morning " YA ALL " Jacob the Carpetbagger
Alright, love the slo-mo Cedar Point train skeletons and the creepy music!
2025 Year of the Ferris Wheel. I'm all about it!
You are awesome. I have a grandson who is 12 and afraid of heights so i love watching your videos to find places who has rides that he will get on. Thanks for the ideas and thanks for the videos
Went to Cedar Point back in the 90's, and the Blue Streak coaster is the only ride I remember. Great video, Jacob!
I love all these skeletons, roller coasters and petting zoo❤❤
I love your attitude about the smash pennies. Let’s get all 9
Grew up in S.W. Michigan, Paw Paw, Kalamazoo specifically, and used to live for the 2-3 trips to THE Point every year!! It's so hard for me to understand how anyone could NOT love the absolute rush and thrill of the roller coasters!

Think that adds to the rush of the whole experience though.
Thank you carpet bagger for the work you do, and for keeping us entertained!
When I think of Kalamazoo, I think of the Air Zoo. My husband and I live in Cadillac and go there every year
Awesome video! I have never been to Cedar Point. Always great to visit through your videos.
Love, love, love your videos!! Keep 'em coming!!
I love the Carpetbagger and Cedar Point! A great combination 👌 👍
I like the pressed pennies the snoopy one sounds cute
I like that idea of 2025 being Ferris Wheel year.
I SO WISH I could go to Cedar Point
Jacob...please enjoy the rides even if you cannot do video. There are pov footage that park can give for you to see.
I LOVE going to Cedar Point when I was a kid. My favorite coaster is Millennium Force. Hope you have a great day Jacob! 😊😊
Yes let’s do year of the Ferris wheel, I’ve been wanting to see you at cedar point forever!!!
Awesome video as always Jacob keep up the awesome video be safe out there hope they get the bugs worked out for the new ride
Wish i could have been there with my daughters! We would have rode the Faris wheel with you. Always awesome to see you visit my home park!
The gatekeeper an awesome ride so smooth and so much fun
I love that you have overcome your fear of camels.
One of my favorite places on earth! I need to get a new charlie brown yellow shirt!! It faded lol thanks again Jacob mayne
I've been in those arcade machines oh my god!!! the Schuylkill Mall used to have one. Sadly that building hasn't been standing for years now.
Probably best vlog of cedar point. This has been my home park that I have visited many times.
Thanks for the video, saw you when you were at the glass blowing demo.
You're so lucky 😮😊
The other coaster was the Mean Streak which is now Steel Vengeance. I love Cedar Point. I worked there during college and met my wife there.
I would love to see you visit knotts berry farm. I have never been so I can enjoy the park through your videos.
He has been but he definitely needs to go back.
That camera looks awesome. Because of you showing it, I now know it exists and must have one lol
100% yes!! I would be an honor to hop aboard a Ferris wheel with the Carpetbagger!!! I'm a season pass holder at Hershey Park, I also live not far from Dorney Park and Knobles!
Love the parks. Great video, Jacob. I'm looking forward to the next one. Take care, my friend, and as always, safe travels.
Used to see the Blue Streak virtual ride a lot at malls and arcades back in the day. I was too old to fit in it, but I did eventually make it to Cedar Point and rode the real thing, great little coaster!
Lovin yer new camera. Very nice picture, and Cedar Point is truly a beautiful amusement park
was just there last weekend was so much fun best ride is steel vengeanges
Love Jacob with the barnyard animals!!!!!
Ferris wheels sounds like a great idea for the 2025 summer season 👍
Our big treat for the summer, when we were kids, was our day at Cedar Point! Lots of good memories, staying at the old Breakers hotel. I loved the Earthquake dark ride, but my favorite was the train ride through Boneville. So glad it is still there!
Currently watching this video while sporting my new Carpetbagger T-shirt!!! This makes me want to go back to Cedar Point so bad! I'm guessing the next amusement park will be Kings Island ;) but perhaps I'm wrong! Thanks for the videos, Jacob! You ROCK!
15 minutes in between drinks 😂 wow they think of everything
The Top Thrill Chill sounds like a drink we made at the skating rink in the 80s called a Suicide! You mix all the fountain sodas together, except for diet! For some odd reason, it was delicious!😊
I remember doing this but nit at the skating rink. Didn't got to one much because it was just not my thing.
We live in Sandusky and go to Cedar Point several times a week. We watch all your videos and would enjoy meeting up with you next time you are in town.
I'm an hour away from cedar point, I love the big wheel
Fun fact: That carousel style of Cedar Downs actually has a THIRD version still standing at Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the UK!
Very cool!! Thank you for sharing
I’ll be there in two weeks, almost crossed paths. Maybe one day… (crossing fingers for Pigeon Forge in July)
You should Fram all your pennies at the end of the year 😊
Just went for the first time on Memorial Day weekend
We love watching your videos as you travel. Amazed at your pressed penny collection. Do you have any idea how many there are? Keep up your incredible videos.
I know Jacob says editing isn't his strong suit but I feel like it's been great. Love the Bonesville music! New camera looks great too.
"We're headed back to our swamp!" 🤣
There used to be a funhouse/haunted house there back in the 70's when I was young. You would have loved it! I haven't been to Cedar Point since 1988. Oh my god I loved those skeletons! Wish I could one day visit Boneville in person.

I like the 2025 a Ferris wheel idea. I’m terrified of them, but it would be awesome to ride one with The Carpetbagger!
My friend actually owned the full length VHS tape to those simulated rides you were talking about… There was like six or seven of them and a history snippet about both of them and the park itself. It was nice ha ha ha brings back memories.
The first to rollercoaster I can't go on I will not goon a ride that will put you upside down. My hart can not take it.
the Solano mall in Fairfield California used to have a Cedar Point machine, it was put next to all the other childrens rides which was placed next to the childrens playground in the mall, im not sure if its still there but i definitely rode it a few times as a kid 👍

I love this theme park I've been here twice
Definitely followup Cedar Point with Kings Island! :) Might run into ya during my Amazon delivering!
Ha, it’s ironic because Cedar point actually had those roller coaster simulators in their arcades. I’ll have to look it up, but I believe the other coasters were the iron dragon, Mean Streak, the Magnum, and the Gemini. But I’ll have to double check that.
The Blue Streak is my favorite coaster of all time. ❤
The arcade machine is called the "Kiddie Coaster" and it includes Blue Streak and Gemini. They had one for many years in the Sandusky Mall (might still be there; I haven't paid attention the last few times I've been in the mall)
I remember when I was a kid the blue streak didn't have the seat dividers like they do now. Now I feel like a squashed sardine when riding it.
There were 2 camels that escaped from the Cedar Point petting zoo and were running down a crowded path. Look up the video it’s pretty wild. I mention it here Jacob, as I know you have a fondness for Ohio camels.
Yes find somebody who can write the ferris wheel with you

Dude.. the Bonevill edit... Very cool Carpet bagger my man!
I was tickled to hear the theme music I wrote. ;-)
Jacob my favorite part is ::::BONEVILLE : SKELTON TOWN!!
Thanks for the tour of the park.
