Nice meeting you yesterday at the drink station. Had a very bad morning hitting a raccoon and losing all the anti freeze from my car on the way. Thankfully, i have very selfless coaster friends. Its a good thing you didnt show up in crocs. They are not allowed.

@@ifensler I hit the raccoon from Guardians of the Galaxy, I swear. It was also on rt 80 before the N Olmstead exit. I'm in the process of finding the parts to fix my car now, and without getting a new front bumper cover, I'm at $787.98. Just parts. I mean, I'm the labor, but still.😭

That moment when he transitions from sheer terror to telling us about the view, is one of the best moments ever on the Carpetbagger channel! Why must you gender things? I'm a girl and I rode the original Dragster, numerous times. I honestly thought it was kinda lame to wait in a line that long for a ride that short, even if it had an awesome launch (this version seems to be more about the spike than the launch). If I'm waiting in a line that long, give me a good and long ride. Like Steel Vengeance.

I'm not a regular here, just a coaster girl with little care about the other aspects of a park unless I'm part of them, initially watched some Carpetbagger videos because I was in a haunted house he walked through and I wanted to see how he captured my performance (I certainly disagree with his preference of dark rides over coasters but you know, the diversity of the theme park community is beautiful. I love that people as different as a me and Carpetbagger can both find a lot of reasons to love our theme parks we go to).

My Dad introduced my brother and I to rollercoasters at a very young age. I am an adrenaline junkie through and through, but I still get nervous when riding new coasters! I would totally ride this but it DOES look scary! Cedar Point is on my bucket list. I absolutely love your videos, Jacob! You are a warrior!

The coaster only goes half-way up on the first attempt. It's a triple-launch coaster.
That means you get your initial launch halfway up the tower, then you come back and launch backwards up the rear tower, and then launch forward again for the real deal.
Each launch adds some energy. This is to prevent the whiplash of instant acceleration like they used to do.

I went to ride that around 2015 2016 and that’s my favorite roller coaster and now I have to ride it because they redid it and it looks awesome. It’s awesome that you did that.
You just let me relive my most favorite ride of all space & time, The Hypersonic at Kings Dominion Doswell Va....it was totally vertical and I LOVED it! This TT 2 was even better!!! The reason Top Thrill Dragster closed for good was that a lady who was standing in line was hit by a phone from somebody who was on the ride, and Cedar Fair was sued. They also would have difficulty with the mechanical side also with the roller-coaster 🎢 also. I'm so happy they have re opened this ride. I love Cedar Point, the best roller-coaster Park in the world

This looks really good and better-designed. Doing a 3-stage rolling-launch probably saves hardware wear and tear and is more comfortable since it doesn't have to plaster riders against the headrest from a standstill, and the transfer track improves loading/capacity since rollback isn't an issue. I assume there might be situations where the second forward climb might not make it all the way over, but they can just launch again.
