- Come and join us for our first day at Cedar Point, the 6th park of our USA Road Trip! In this vlog we experience many of the awesome roller coasters on offer at this world famous amusement park. This includes Steel Vengeance, Maverick, Millennium Force and many more epic coasters. Along with that we capture the awesome atmosphere throughout the park, along with talking about the current work taking place on Top Thrill Dragster!

@@ThemeParkWorldwideit would be cool if you could record on ride audio, and sync it up with the coaster, maybe say a word when you’re about to go down the drop to make it easier?
Another great vlog. I LOVE how you're incorporating the POVs into the vlogs on this trip! Even if it's not your footage, it does just make them feel more 'complete.' I haven't been to CP since 2015, I need to get back there!!

Was going to make the same comment re the POV's, you did it for me. Makes already brilliant Vlogs even better.
I'm not so keen, I find the generic park supplied footage quite underwhelming, it carries no feeling, I love when Shawn is allowed to film on the ride it carries his filming his feelings Charlotte's feelings, I watch this channel to see them, if the park doesn't allow pov's, then I much prefer for Sean to show off ride footage, than use footage provided by the park, I can find that footage anywhere

@@7ofthem I know but it's so empty, I'm not blaming Shawn for doing it, he's trying to do the best for us, but watching a camera fly round a track, and which normally is way poorer filming quality than Shawn provides, takes away from the feel of the blog, this is in no way a criticism of Shawn or Charlotte, more towards the bad decision of the park, not to allow safe filming on the ride, they should allow people like Shawn who carry the right equipment to film pov's, that's all, his filming is of a much higher quality and more engaging than the company they hired lol

I honestly think MF holds up quite well but I guess it's a matter of opinion. It is just so powerful, fast yet graceful. It feels super fast right up to the end too. On a side note I have been riding Maverick for over a decade and the trip we had a week or so before you all, Maverick was the best I have ever felt it. It was HAULING. On a side note, it is adorable seeing Charlotte get 2 number one coasters on this trip. You all seem like a really wholesome couple. The world could use more of that.
Have to agree about MF. It is my favourite in the park. SV is a beast, but a bit too much for me. My whole family loved Maverick.
I have to agree! I rode MF this year and I got airtime on both of the other hills too. I thought it was running great. Maverick has been amazing this year too. I’ve rode it twice this year and both rides were great (especially my front row one)

So I'm about to watch this one again. Cedar point is just such a good park. It's great watching and seeing how much Sean loves it there, and seeing Charlotte enjoy her first day there and get her first rides on (almost) all the amazing coasters. Glad you both had a great day, and looking forward to seeing day two! This trip is epic, and there's so much more to come!

This is the vlog I was looking forward to the most this trip. Cedar point is the one place I would do anything to go to. The amount of word class coasters this park has to offer is amazing along with the beautiful landscaping and views of Lake Erie

Love Cedar Point! Such great memories of the mid 80's going with my high school friends on the bus to Ohio from Canada. Corkscrew is my all time fav . One of my first looping coaster. :)
I watched this while drinking from my Steel Vengeance cup! I was fortunate to get to go for the first time in 2018 as well and it was amazing!
Gatekeeper ate my FitBit back then, right after the first drop. Fortunately it didn't hit anyone, but unfortunately it was lost beneath the coaster somewhere.
I think we waited in line 2.5-3 hours for Steel Vengeance when we went in 2018. I got to go last Summer as well and the wait wasn't quite as long then.
I agree that SteVe and Maverick are the 2 top in the park IMO. Glad to see you guys enjoying everything!

Looks a stunning park and location. So many fantastic coasters looking awesome. Shooting straight to no'1 for this venture for me so far. Would like to see more of the other attractions in day two, thus can't wait to see the next one.

Technically Wild Mouse is the prototype for that layout-no one else has that specific layout even if there are other Zamperla Mice out there

Yes that location including the massive theme park and what looks like a large many slides waterpark, plus the Beach and more, could be a great location to do a 7 night holiday.

If you have the time on your 2nd day think about booking a trip on the Jet Ferry to Put-In-Bay from the Cedar Point marina. It will give you the perspective you are looking for - from the water - and Put-In-Bay is a very fun little island. Just a thought. Cheers!

i live east of cleveland, lived here all my life and only been to cedar point once when i was 8 back in 1968 , was a lot different then.

Gatekeeper’s Awesome! When I went to Cedar Point back in June 2023 as well, I rode almost every coasters they have, I said that 1st place for fav ride was Gatekeeper, 2nd was Millennium Force, and 3rd was Steel Vengeance.

I’m a bit surprised that Vengeance is still your number one. It seems like the hip thing to do lately to discount it. People like to hype the newer stuff I suppose. It’s far and away still my number 1. The length and airtime alone put it there. It feels like 2 coasters in one. The 3rd lap through the structure is incredible and not something you can get anywhere else.

So awesome seeing Charlotte absolutely love Maverick! I remember riding it when i was 9 when it first came out and was in complete AWE..such an amazing ride! Agree completely about Millenium Force as well...when it came out it was absolutely mindblowing how good it was...i think they should keep it because it's so iconic but change a lot of the layout after first drop.
My ultimate bucket list park!! Really hope to make the trip there one day. Looks absolutely incredible. I love that Charlotte got a new favourite coaster 😊 and congratulations on 350k! You guys deserve it!

That straight section was probably a result of the park wanting three trains instead of two. So Intamin pushed the final turn back a bit. Yeah I wished it had another airtime hill there, but I won’t complain cause the ride is one of the many masterpieces of the early 2000’s in my opinion

Maverick is my wife's and I favorite roller coaster at that park as well! They updated the shoulder restraints a year or two ago and made it so much more comfortable. We're excited to see what they are gonna do with dragster, hope they are able to reuse part of the existing structure!

One of my favourite things is taking people to parks they have never visited and seeing their initial reactions, so its nice to see Charlotte getting the chance to have these new experiences!

Kind of a fun fact, CP wanted Millenium to run 3 trains. So intamin added the exit station, and that's where that straight track at the end comes from!

A lot of the theme in Frontier Town is for the Frontier Festival. Haven't been back since I worked there in 2021, but that restaurant area does look nice. I think the area from Valravn to Rougarou could be more themed after Dragster Midway to be a true theme park

Here’s a fun fact about Maverick for you guys. It originally had a heart line roll over the water when it was being built but it was taken out due to it being to intense and putting a lot a stress on the train and track. Sorry if I keep bothering you guys with these facts but I hope you find them interesting. Also, congratulations on 350K subscribers guys and I am happy to be one of them. Can’t wait for the day 2 vlog guys!

@24:00 the cattle pen alone is at least an hour wait, but worth it for Werner Stengels masterpiece. CP truly rocks.
I wish the rollercoaster world would make a smooth ride for those of us who love speed but not the neck breaking jerks sudden turns😭. Yes, even Grandma and Grandpa want to enjoy the fun. I'm in my 50s now and even in my 20s I would feel beat up by a ride or have a nasty headache. Show the world that a coaster can be great fun without the jerks and severe bumps. A fast, smooth coaster going all the way around your park would be a + on those super hot days. And it could be very scenic showing great views of other attractions, or the lake or town you're near. Come on folks, get creative! 🥰
