Today, Jared finishes the International 1010 Muscle truck, and it is glorious. He may have gone a little overboard on the first test drive though.

Such a good sponsor
Did simplisafe call the fire department ??
Questionable Choice countdown timer, I like it hhahaha :)
"Thats whatchu happen."
Also, my compliments to The Editor. His music library is pretty well rounded. We need some tracklistings in description pretty please 😗
I know right I was dance for first one ☝️
And you gave him some great interesting angles to work with. I am pretty sure you don't pay him enough.
doesn't Shazaam work anymore?
@@johngreydanus2033 Its really not very good at off the beaten path stuff. Give it a shot and let me know how that goes for you.
My guess is that they use something like audioblocks.
"Jared shaft cam"
Give this guy and award.
Oh my ;P
Very cool build!! Good work!
You know when there is all that room above the engine it looks like supercharger potential 😁
Or room for twins?
....low key was a little nervous at first right when I saw “shaft cam”
pretty sure that was deliberate lol
I would really love to hear a conversation between Jared and the car wizard. I bet it's going to be interesting 😃
Yep. I'm a dog person too. She took every rag and played with it.
Why are you so cute? Totally get it.
Love your vids, keep rocking and all the best!😁❤🤘🍻
Congratulations Jared! It looks and sounds great, I can’t wait to see you finalize it, is really cool to see you work on these projects, this has become my favorite automotive channel, keep up the good work! Greetings from Germany
This was a great blend of some excitement and Jared’s ability to explain mechanical concepts in a clear way.
BisforBuild should talk to you to find how to make an LS engine sound so smooth - literally the only LS I’ve heard on RUclips that doesn’t sound broken,
sph_holl26 It isn’t tuned and it sounds nasty!
Bisforbuild has a really aggressive cam in it.
Love how the truck turned out.. also there’s no noise from the truck part from it’s engine, that’s a solid build.. change the rim to grey/ dark to keep the theme though..
Good choice on Ron's Drivelines! My family and theirs have been friends and associates in the automotive business for going on 70 years. My son, third-generation wrench turner, now uses Ron's Drivelines after I introduced him to them during his teens. Fourth generation will be using them soon...
Hi Jared - I am enjoying this channel as much as I enjoyed talking with you about my car when it was at SFS. You did great on that one - silver 1994 MKIV, auto. You diagnosed a small issue and I ended up with a new (actually used) head, new small turbo, other required go parts and some engine dress-up. The head on my car was suspect and they were very hard to come by at the time. You guys had one off of a race car that was ported - it is perfect. My car lopes like a V-8 now - until I take off.
I am no longer in Georgia now, but I would drive to to wherever you are to get work done on my car!
Jared! Love your attitude, sense of humor and the work you do. So authentic!
Nice work jared and company. Can't believe I just seen this and its been out for a while. A keeper for sure
Thanks so very much
Tough build
The amount of time and effort that you have put into it truly shows.
I’m so glad it’s up and running. So many comments about how you should have built it. But you did it your way and it’s awesome.
Hey!
Just wanted to say that I'm really happy you finally got to drive this unique beast! I've been patiently waiting for this day and this video really put a smile 😁 on my face!
Great job 👏 as always!!
LOVED THIS SERIES. CANT WAIT TO SEE MORE OF IT.
Very cool video, loved the explanation of camber and castor, I never understood that at all before seeing this video. Thanks Jared! Great editing!
Editing is excellent, Jared is a natural, and great mechanic. Keep it up!!
Dude, this is fantastic! I honestly wasn't sure this would ever work, but you pulled it off! absolutely amazing. Such a cool build! I love the exhaust note. Great job, Jared!
It was great watching the truck driving so nice.Hard work and dedication to duty by everyone involved in the build.Keep on wrenching..... thanks for the great content always
Awesome!! Really enjoy watching the evolution of Johnny!!
Such an amazing transformation so far, can't wait to see the next phases of this project being completed :). I have especially enjoyed the footage from the first drive, it seemed so emotional I could almost picture myself driving it instead of Jared :D! Keep on rocking man, as Tavarish always says, you are the real MVP!!!
Watched this whole build Jared🤙 that truck is badass and can't wait for the dyno episode
Hell yeah! “Johnny Rev” LIVES! Ha ha ha nothing like testing your smoke detector for simply safe… It works great… Should we try the flood sensor now? Ha Ha Ha
First and foremost I want to congratulate you on finishing this section of the build. Nothing can take that away, it's amazing. But those alignment numbers look super sketchy in the back. From the looks of that alignment rack they've got some pretty up to date tech. The head clamps to the tire which would eliminate error on the techs behalf. Outside of a calibration problem both of the rear tires should show zero camber -or very close to it. I would have to say have the heads hung back on it and rerun the numbers to be sure there isn't a problem with the axle housing or bearing. This coming from someone who did alignments for a very long time.
Congratulations brother. The Johnny is running real nice. Watched the build sense day one. Love watching your channel.
Truck sounds great, can't wait to see this thing continue being refined
Editor OP!🙌. The satisfaction on Jared's face is very very nice. Great work Editor and Jared for such a treat.
This was a great episode! By far my favorite RUclips automotive professional!
Jared’s Shaft cam 😂😂
I'm sure I'm not alone when I say can't wait to see the finished product, great vid!
Great job Jared, I like the science tips. Great academic lesson.
I like how the exhaust came out, sounds really good
I had the biggest smile on my face when you did that burn out. Very happy for you brother. Once again. #Jaredmvpforlife.
Awesome bro! Still working on my Samurai. Differentials tomorrow! Then paint!
I really like the option where the speedometer tries to jump in your lap during acceleration! LOL. Looking like all that work is paying off!
This has been a great ride to come along with you... If I was to build a retro ride, This is how I'd do it... Totally my style... Well done....
that 1 tire fire...love the exhaust setup, sounds great
Im so happy to see this running man!
"When you do things silly, that's whatcha happen". 😂Best ep yet. Love it.
Thanks Jared! Loved it and made my Sunday!
“It should be in park”, hit pause, get popcorn...okay, ready!
very nice , well done Jared ! Very nice editing too, you guys are killing it
Awesome result! I'm sure that engine mounting location makes a huge difference with overall center of gravity and the feeling when you drive it.
You’re the expert here but dude, that transmission pan sitting that low would make me too paranoid to drive it!
yup, stoopid idea to drop the engine that low.it aint a race car,so whats it matter.my 5" raised bronco handles just fine.around chain of ponds, look that up,,i pushed an rx7 round there.ausie.s.a.adelaide hills.
Installing a skid plate is easy.
Love It!! Them Wheels Make the truck look sooo good! i dont know why! But i love it!
Hey Jared watched all the shows from the international and i am impressed by youre skills what a nice swap thanks and greets from the netherlands.
yaaaay
It's alive
Congrats!
It's pleasure to see this truck moving
Epic build Jared
Truck sounds too niice with the exhaust setup.
Nice build. You are so right about walking away when frustration sets in. What color will it be?
U gotta love the times when things keep going wrong..u have to walk away and sometimes it helps u think clearer when u come back...best advice ever is..just walk away and come back in a lil while
Best shop helper. What a beauty.
Congrats Brother. Sounds and looks awesome
Love everything about this build, only thing I would change is the wheels
Patrick Reads yes-some steely wheels with a factory sleeper look. But love it. Thanks for sharing
I was just thinking he needs to do a 6 lug swap, and put some Texas edition 20's on it!
Watching the gauges nearly fall out of the dash during the drive. Fits this build perfectly! 🤣🤣🤣
Good to see the International on the road so people will be reminded of when there was more than the big three trucks.
this has got to be the best truck build on youtube would love to build a truck like that
Excellent! Loved the countdown timer!
Looks fantastic! A job well done. Still some interior work to go.
Thank you jared! We need more truck! 😁
This just totally rocks, cool, stupendous and all out just sick!!!
I remember once upon a time when Jared was kind of awkward around the camera. Now he’s about to put Freddy out of a job 😂. Wrench everyday vs. Roadkill?
Jared your the man I love your channel and videos came here from guy with the civic you built tarvish I think not trying to be mean but his channel is all over the place.. that's another reason why I like your channel more
I love the sound selection, house/techno vibes
those suspention settings are a lot like i used on my Volvo 940 turbo (solid rear axel, McPherson struts up front)
I copied my camber and caster settings for the front from a genuine Ford Sierra Cosworth rally car.
With the engine set back this truck must drive sporty with good front end grip. I have no doubt.
Nascar style wheels like Luckys Garage has on his c10 with white letter tires...red or orange wheels...I love this truck build! Thanks for doing it!
Wow, you have a very nice shaft there. It looks solid and sturdy. Also it is noticeable that it is quite lengthy since you needed two cams to show it in all of its glory. 😁
Very cool ride !!! Clear it and leave it like it is !!
Wow man! Congratulations!!!!!!!
Looking forward to a twin turbo setup now :3
Nice work, congratulations!!
Awesome job, Jared!
Enjoyed watching it. Thanks.
Sounds so nice Johnny purrs like a kitty, cant wait tell you get back to working on the Fairlady Z though
19:22 Jared - “that’s whatcha happened” lolz
Would be great to see a total modern interior. Digital Dash, leather all the creature comforts. Love this build!
Jared man that truck sounds AWESOME!!!
Good to see it finally driving down the road. I much prefer the look of the painted steel wheels than those alloys that don’t really suit the look of old Johnny though.
Awesome job Jared!
Great job jared, Congrats 👍
Awesome video! Thanks
Dude you have become so well rounded on camera, your dry humor is just like mine and makes me laugh constantly.
Hi Jared, any plans for different wheels and will you be clear coating it? Love the series, crazy fast work and I really like the focus on serviceable modifications like the transmission mount spacer. Also props to the editor
Great progress! Also, I see the Supras peaking into the shots more often.... They want to be worked on Jared!
Hardest working man on RUclips. Appriciate the effort.
“Old trucks should be, guess-your-gear.”🤣😂🤣😂
19:02
I live out in the countryside via dirt roads. When they're bone dry tons of dust can be thrown up into the air. This would amplify that by at least a good 10,000% lol
Wow the view from underneath the truck is sick.
Sounds great! Lots of hard work put into her and i bet it handles amazingly. Are you going to paint her and make her look as good as she feels and sounds?
Hi Jared nice video 📹 and workmanship truck sounds good
Great episode Jarred!!! time for an LSD & some period correct rims. Love your content
11:55: "Everybody dance now!" LMAO!!
Awesome truck Jared! Man I would like that mk4 supra
The text description of camber was accurate but Jared's description was of steering axis inclination or I think I've heard it called kingpin inclination, sure you adjust one to adjust the other but I could see a lot of people getting confused especially as camber is described in terms of degrees, someone is going to look at the angle between ball joints and see way more than 2 degrees.
I like this project a lot as an unconventional way to do an engine conversion, should be a great sleeper up until AND round a corner.
I've really been wanting to see this thing get some long travel, reservoir front suspension to lift that front end/oil pan up.
Never have I seen such an epic inner fender montage. 😂 Awesome truck!
Long time coming... congratulations Jared
Such a cool project!
